TRL과 AHP를 적용한 핵융합 실증로 핵심기술 도출 (Core Technologies Derivation of Fusion DEMO Reactor Applying TRL and AHP)

  • 미래의 궁극에너지로 인식되고 있는 핵융합에너지 개발을 위해서는 DEMO라는 최종 실증 단계를 거쳐야만 한다. 특히 중국, EU, 일본 등의 주요 국가는 DEMO 건설에 대한 구체적 계획을 수립하고 이를 실행 중에 있다. 한국도 1995년부터 KSTAR 사업을 시작으로 핵융합 연구개발에 착수한 점을 감안하면, 핵융합에너지 상용화라는 최종 목표달성 뿐만 아니라, 주요 국가와 DEMO 경쟁 상황에서 주도권을 확보하기 위한 본격적 연구개발이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 DEMO 개발을 위한 핵심기술을 파악하기 위하여 준정량적 방법론을 적용, 해당 분야의 핵심기술을 도출함으로써 우선적으로 연구개발이 필요한 기술을 식별하여 향후 연구개발 추진시 기술별 우선순위를 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위한 핵융합 에너지 개발과 관련하여 핵융합의 과학적 원리, 주요국가의 DEMO 개발 동향 등을 파악한다. 다음으로 핵융합 실증로와 관련된 기술분류 체계를 검토하여 분석할 기술분류 체계를 선정한다. 선정된 기술체계에 준정량적 방법론으로 기술수준(TRL)을 파악하고 이를 보완하기 위하여 분석적 계층화 과정(AHP)을 적용한다. TRL과 AHP의 결과를 종합하여 우선적으로 확보해야 할 핵융합 실증로의 핵심기술은 실증로용 연소 플라즈마 기술, 대면재료기술, 구조재기술, 고주파 가열장치 기술, 중성입자빔 장치기술, 안전기술, 연소플라즈마 진단장치기술, 핵융합로 시뮬레이터기술 등으로 나타났다.

  • 지난 몇 년 동안 사물지능통신(Machine to Machine, M2M) 어플리케이션은 무선업계에서 뜨거운 화제가 되고 있다. 사물지능통신 어플리케이션이 (건강, 농업, 상업, 산업, 소매, 유틸리티 등) 다양한 용도(스마트 홈, 스마트 촉광/전기계량기, 차량관리, 모바일 인력, 자동차보험, 자동판매기 등)에 대한 많은 분야에서 사용할 수 있지만 스마트 계량 어플리케이션 또는 스마트 그리드는 오늘날의 사물통신 시장에서 가장 큰 성장 잠재력을 나타낸다. 사물통신은 다양한 네트워크와 기기가 결합하여 복합적인 서비스를 제공하는 미래의 통신망 기술로 복합적인 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 센서 시스템들 사이에 표준화된 정보 교환 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 정보통신기술을 이용한 재난방재시스템에 관한 산업간 융합, 재난정보통신에 필요한 요소기술 및 응용에 대하여 연구한다.

  • The Photovoltaic(PV) generation system is a promising source of energy for the future. Since the need for renewable energy has been increased, the research of PV generation system has also been progressed. Recently, cost down of PV generation system has been accomplished and practical technologies of the solar energy developed, Moreover, grid connected PV generation system are becoming actual and general. Operational technology of the grid connected PV generation system is being a hot issue. Power output of PV system is directly affected by wether conditions. When AC power supply is needed, power conversion by an inverter and a MPPT control are necessary. In this paper, for stability improvement of PV generation system. Active filter(AF) function is added to PV generation system, and simulations of PV-AF system under various weather conditions are performed.

  • Solar energy is one of the most promising energy resources in the future. For the application and dissemination of solar energy technologies in various fields, reliable data sets of solar irradiation are needed for engineers, researchers, businessmen, and policy makers. Global horizontal solar radiation is needed for the use of flat plate collector, solar domestic hot water system, photovoltaic devices and passive systems like green house. In many countries, solar radiation data accumulated for more then 40 or 50 years and typical weather data are published with average of more then 30 years. In Korea, those global total radiations are measured for about 30 years. With the connections of computer network, measured data could be transmitted to the central control system at key station through Ethernet lines. The data acquisition systems are connected to be automatically controlled by the monitoring network. Global horizontal solar radiation data 16 locations were measured and averaged from 1982 to 2008.

  • Biometrics is one of promising future technologies within personal identification area, and its application stretches to other variety industry site. Therefore it is necessary to test whether these products are implemented in conformance withe the BioAPI international standard specification. This paper presents the specific construction and application examples of BioAPI v2.0 conformance test suite according to the method described in ISO/IEC 24709. The problems and experience that have been discovered in the construction are described. Three BSP products claiming conformance to BioAPI was tested by proposed the test methodology and tools.

  • Photovoltaics is considered to be one of the most promising technologies which can greatly contribute to future energy supply because of a large, secure, essentially inexhaustible and broadly available resource - sunlight. However, recent progresses in photovoltaics make also possible its short-term practical application in some areas. Among them the solar air conditionner powered by photovoltaic system attracts considerable interest due to its main advantage which consists in the reduction of drastically increasing electricity peak load in summer season. In this review paper our current study on the solar air conditionner will be briefly summarized.

마이크로 가스터빈(MGT) 성능 시뮬레이션 모델 개발 (Development of Performance Simulation Models for MGT)

  • All forecasts of a future energy demand anticipate an increase across the globe. With the increase of energy demand, the emission of $CO_2$ is also likely to increase by at least the same amount because energy supply will be based on fossil fuels, which is more apparent in a number of developing countries. In this context, the Micro Gas Turbine (MGT) is being considered as a promising solution. In order to propose a feasible concept of those technologies such as improving environmental effect and economics, we performed a sensitivity study for a biomass fueled MGT using a simulation model. The study consists of 1) the fundamental modeling using manufacturer's technical specifications, 2) the correction with the experimental data, and 3) the sensitivity study for system parameters. The simulation model was developed by PEPSE-GT 72, commercial steam/gas turbine simulation toolbox.

초임계유체 추출 기술 및 상업화 현황 (The Current Status of Supercritical Fluid Extraction Technology and Industrial Applications)

  • Because of their unique properties, supercritical fluids have been known as one of the most promising materials for the future technology. Supercritical fluid technologies have been widely applied to various operations such as extraction, impregnation, nano-particle generation, oxidation, reaction etc. Industrial applications, especially their successful usage of supercritical fluid, have been reviewed. A special case for the first successful industrial application of supercritical $CO_2$ extraction in Korea was reviewed. Its unique characteristics of enriched antioxidant, $'\grmma-tocopherol'$ enabled this industrial application in Korea in spite of its low market price. Also its size and operation conditions were known as world records.

대면적화된 마이크로파 플라즈마를 이용하여 실리콘 웨이퍼에 증착한 다결정 실리콘의 특성 연구 (Characteristics of Polysilicon Films Deposited on Silicon Wafers with Enlarged Microwave Plasma)

  • Semiconductor industry requires the development of new technology such as 300 mm technology, suitable for manufacturing the next generation dervices. A promising process for realizing 300 mm technology can be achieved by using enlarged microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition (MWCVD) technology. In this work, we used radial line slot antenna for enlarging microwave plasma area, and carried ut the deposition of polysilicon films using enlarged MWCVD for the first time in Korea. The results was as follows. Deposited polysilicon films showed various degrees of crystallinity as well as epitaxy to silicon substrates even at low temperature of $300^{\circ}C$. Deposition rates also controled crystallization behavior and slo deposition rates showed very high crystallinity. It could be said that enlarged MWCVD system and technology was worth to get attraction as one os future technologies for 1 G DRAM era.
