연구개발 평가를 위한 ANP(Analytic Network Process) 모형

  • Technology Management and R&D(Research and Development) have been one of the most difficult divisions for measurement and evaluation. In spite of these difficulties, the concern and importance of R&D has been dramatically increased. However, it is actually very difficult to manage more efficiently and effectively than any other departments of production, finance, marketing and so on. As criticizing the shortcomings of the traditional evaluation system in making decisions for corporate management which has only been focused on financial indices, so Kaplan & Norton has suggested the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) which can be managed Critical Success Factors(CSF) in accordance with corporate's strategy. The Analytic Network Process(ANP), though based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process, allows the decision makers to leap beyond the traditional hierarchy to the interdependent environment of network modeling. Basing on BSC, this study has developed the evaluation system for R&D which has used ANP transforming quantitative and qualitative indices to the quantifying scales in evaluating R&D.

  • The present paper is a parameter study of zinc flake production using a Simoloyer CM01 horizontal high energy rotary ball mill. The manufactured flakes have a dimension in thickness (t) < $1{\mu}m$ and diameters (d) 5-100 ${\mu}m$, consequently a ratio d/t up to 200. The flake geometry is mainly controlled by the variation of process parameters such as rotary speed of the rotor, ratio of powder/ball charge, load ratio of the system, process temperature, operating model and the quantity of process control agent (PCA). The Zn flakes were characterized by SEM, tap densitometry, laser diffraction and water coverage measurement.

  • The present investigation has attemped to optimize hydrogen reduction process for the mass production of Fe-8wt%Ni nanoalloy powder from ball milled $Fe_2O_3-NiO$ powder. In-situ hygrometry study was performed to monitor the reduction behavior in real time through measurement of water vapor outflowing rate. It was found that the reduction process can be optimized by taking into account the apparent influence of water vapor trap in the reactor on reduction kinetics which strongly depends on gas flow rate, reactor volume and reduction.

Classroom lecture monitoring case study

  • Recently classroom monitoring is becoming important since the lecture is being held in the classroom and academic institutions are interested in the quality assurance. Some institutions have adopted ISO 9000 systems and constructed monitoring system through measurement, analysis and improvement. In this study quality assurance problems in academic institutions and the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 will be briefly discussed. Next we will investigate how to monitor the lecture in the classroom(in-class) using statistical process control techniques such as control charts. Then case study will be given to illustrate the technique to use appropriate statistics. Finally how to monitor the learning process during in-class and after-class will be proposed.

  • In this paper, an effect of drive-in process temperature on the residual stress profile of the p+ silicon film has been investigated. The residual stress profile has been calculated as the fourth-order polynomials. All coefficients of the polynomials have been determined from the measurement of the vertical deflections of the p+ silicon cantilevers with various thickness and the tip displacement of the p+ silicon rotating beam. From the determination results of the residual stress profile, the average stress of the film thermally oxidized at 1000 $^{\circ}C$ is 15 MPa and that of the film oxidized at 1100 $^{\circ}C$ is 25 MPa. The profile of the residual stress through the high temperature drive-in process has a steeper gradient than the other case.

  • Measuring of the dissolved oxygen is widely used for the environmental control of natural waters, sewage waste treatment, medical and biochemical studies, soil husbandry, food and drug process control, and prevention of corrosion in boilers. Especially, a power plants need special management for preventing accidents from corrosion, therefore, it is essential to measure the concentration of dissolved oxygen in real-time. In this paper we present a method of measuring dissolved oxygen very accurately up to ppb units. This method, called polarographic method, is based on the measures of the electric current generated by the oxidation process in cathode and de-oxidation process in anode, assuming that the amount of the current is proportional to the density of dissolved oxygen.

  • This paper analyzes the difference between theoretical cost of quality and real world cost. Examined are the theoretical cost structure of quality, it's measurement styles, a process based improvement strategy of quality cost, and possible adaptation of decision making concepts in enhancing the cost structure. This study will contribute to the literature in delineating an improvement process of quality cost by adjusting service policy.

  • A high speed and stable A/D conversion data process is required to weigh a mass on moving conveyer weighing platter. The paper presents a new method to obtain stable and fast automatic weighing A/D conversion data process. Dynamic weighting system which is constructed with dual load cell is realized by the stable A/D conversion data process algorithm using DSP. The proposed method is applied to the real design, and that experimental results showed good performances of the weighing stability.

  • This paper presents the analytical approaches to predict cutting fluid aerosol formation characteristics in machining process. The prediction model which is based on the rotary atomization theory analyzes aerosol behaviors in terms of size and concentration. Experiments were tarried out to verify the aerosol formation prediction model under various operational conditions. The experimental results which are obtained by Dual-PDA measurement show resonable agreement with prediction results of aerosol concentration. This study can be provided as a basis to estimate and control the hazardous cutting fluid aerosol in machining process in view of environmental consciousness.

  • The analysis method of stabilizing process and its program regarding large spatial structural systems are described in this paper. In this paper, the analysis of stabilizing process of the example structures, namely Olympic Fencing Arena, is performed and the jacking force of stabilizing process is proposed, and the characteristics of structural behavior is investigated. This result of research is applied to the design and construction of the actual structures and the reliability of the analysis is verified through comparison of the analysis results and the measured results in the field. When the analytical results is compared with the actual structural behavior, there is a little difference, but it is thought that the analysis results are quite reliable because it is very similar to the measured values in spite of construction and measurement errors.
