주력산업에서 가치전략과 재무성과의 상관관계 (Correlation between Value Strategies and Financial Performance in Leading Industries)

  • Korea's five leading industries-chemical, automobile, shipbuilding, metal and electronics-have been the growth engines of the Korean economy for the last 30 years. However, with their performance weakening in the past few years, Korea's annual growth rate has dropped to less than 2%. Just as the Japanese economy struggled through the lost decades, Korea's leading industries have been facing signals of arriving at a Strategic Inflection Point ("SIP") since the mid-2000s. The objective of this study is to present an appropriate value strategy for Korean firms in leading industries to gain sustainable competitive advantages. This paper examines the following issues : First, it diagnoses the signs and timing of SIP for the five leading industries. Second, this study examines 78 Korean and Japanese firms in order to understand the adaptation strategies of the highest and lowest performing firms from a value strategy point of view. Third, it empirically analyzes the correlation between the indicators of value strategy and the accounting performances of the Korean and Japanese firms. The data set used in the cluster analysis were collected from KISLINE database of NICE Information Service and annual reports. The findings in the case analyses of high and low performing companies show that high value-added specialty chemical materials and electronic component manufacturers that had a strong focus on value creation were defined as high performing companies. And in the cosmetic and automobile industries, companies with a strong emphasis on value appropriation gained high performance. Furthermore, the study conducted a cluster analysis based on two indicators R&D and advertisement expense. The analysis shows that a significant gap exists in the operating incomes among three groups classified under the value strategy. The study recommends that Korean firms are requested to increase R&D expenditure, conduct M&A and collaborate with companies that own source technologies to narrow the technology gap and improve their segment portfolio from commodity to value-added products.

What Influences YouTube Viewers' Job Engagement? The Role of Vlog Content Characteristics, Vlogger Characteristics, and Educational Value

  • YouTube has become a popular platform for vlogs. Among various forms of vlogs, office worker vlogs, in which a person engaged in a specific job shows his/her work environment and daily routine, are gaining popularity. Thus, focusing on office worker vlogs, the present research investigates the effects of office worker vlogs' characteristics (i.e., vlog content characteristics, vlogger characteristics) on the YouTube viewers' educational value of the vlog and their job engagement. Specifically, this research examines whether(1) vlog content characteristics (i.e., usefulness, accessibility, and vividness) and (2) vlogger characteristics (i.e., job similarity, credibility, and expertise) influence the YouTube viewers' educational value of the vlog. Moreover, this research examines how the YouTube viewers' educational value of the vlog affects their job engagement. With a sample of YouTube viewers of office worker vlogs (N = 215), structural equation modelling was implemented to investigate the relationships in the proposed model. The results indicate that (1) perceived usefulness of the office worker vlog is positively associated with the educational value of the vlog; (2) perceived accessibility of the office worker vlog is positively associated with the educational value of the vlog, albeit marginally significant; (3) perceived vividness of the office worker vlog is positively associated with the educational value of the vlog; (4) perceived job similarity to the office worker vlogger is positively associated with the educational value of the vlog; (5) perceived credibility of the office worker vlogger is positively associated with the educational value of the vlog; (6) perceived expertise of the office worker vlogger is positively associated with the educational value of the vlog; and (7) the educational value of the office worker vlog is positively associated with the YouTube viewers' job engagement. The findings provide important implications for the production and use of office worker vlog contents.

生絲纖度檢査規定에 關한 考察 (A Distcussion on the Size Deviation Test of Raw Silk)

  • 現 生絲檢査規則 中 纖度偏差檢査項目에 관하여 檢討한 結果 약간의 矛盾點을 發見하였으므로 이를 지적하고 그 改善策을 設定하였다. 1. 現 纖度偏差檢査는 平均纖度가 50~69 denier에 標準偏差는 5.80以下, 4.61 以上일 때 A格으로 定하고 있으나 平均纖度 50 denier인 경우의 標準偏差 5.80과 平均纖度 69 denier인 경우의 標準差 5.80과는 同一分布라 할 수 없다. 2. C.V로 換算하여 볼 때 2A格의 C.V가 A格의 C.V보다 작아야 하는데 現 纖度檢査規定은 70denier 의 1A格의 C.V換算値는 9.00이며, 69denier의 A格의 C.V換算値는 8.41로서의 70denier 2A格이 69denier의 A格보다 變異의 分散이 크게 나타나는 矛盾點을 보였다. 3. 生絲의 纖度偏差檢査數値도 平均値가 다른 Sample끼리의 優劣을 나타내는 數値이며 이 數値로서 等級을 決定하기 때문에 標準偏差에 의하여 檢査할 것이 아니라 C. V에 의하여 檢査하여야 한다. 4. 33 denier 以上의 生絲에서 각 等級別로 볼 때 6A格에서 下位格으로 감에 따라 變異폭(變異係數)을 약간씩 크게 하였으나 곳에 따라 一貫性을 잃고 있으며 그리고 同一等級에서 纖度變化에 따른 變異係數數値의 變化도 같은 경향이므로 等級間 및 纖度間의 數値調整을 要한다. 5. 34 denier 以上에서는 標準偏差數 値를 代入하기 때문에 同一等級에서 平均纖度가 굵어짐에 따라 標準偏差數値를 크게 하였으나 C. V로 換算하여 보면 大同小異하므로 纖度變化에 따른 C. V數値를 달리 할 필요가 없다. 6. 以上의 1.2.3.4.5項의 矛盾點을 是正하기 위하여 是正하기 위하여 C.V에 의한 檢査方式을 導入하고 33denier 以上에서 각 纖度間과 각 等級間의 均衡을 바로 잡으며 또 34 denier 以上에서 각 等級間의 間隔을 바로 잡기 위하여 曲線回歸公式을 導入하여 調整할 必要가 있다. 7. 生絲檢査에서 纖度偏差檢査表를 다음과 같이 改正實施함이 보다 妥當하다.

원영상의 로컬 평균을 이용한 경계강조 오차확산법 (Edge Enhanced Error Diffusion based on Local Average of Original Image)

  • 오차확산법은 연속계조 영상을 중간조 영상으로 생성시 우수한 재현성을 보인다. 그러나 표시오차의 전력스펙트럼 분석에서 경계정보의 재현성이 다소 떨어지는 특성을 보인다. 이를 개선하기 위해 원영상의 현재화소와 로컬 평균간의 차이정보를 이용하는 경계강조 오차확산법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법은 원영상이 현재화소와 로컬 평균과의 차이정보 및 이를 활용하는 필터의 가중치 함수로 구성된다. 첫째, 원영상의 차이정보는 현재 화소와 이의 인접화소(5x5)의 로컬 평균과의 차이이다. 둘째, 필터의 가중치 함수는 차이정보의 크기를 포함하는 함수와 이의 부호로 구성된다. 제안한 기법을 적용한 중간조 영상은 경계가 강조되어 시각적으로 선명한 결과를 보인다. 환상 평균 전력 스펙트럼 밀도를 이용한 표시오차, 경계상관도 및 로컬 평균 일치도의 평가함수로 제안한 경계강조 오차확산법과 기존의 경계강조 오차확산법의 특성을 비교한다.

  • Database system parameter tuning is one of database system tuning that achieve to improve performance of database system with application program tuning and data model tuning. By parameter tuning adjusts value of entry that is staled in data dictionary's parameter file that is included to database system, it is thing which make relevant database system can display performance of most suitable. And, it is that achievement is one o( possible tuning method immediately without occurrence of additional expense or involved hardware for database system performance elevation and ashes composition of software. But, it is actuality that administration about parameter practical use is not achieved, and is using Default Value of parameter that database management system offers just as it is systematically. So, this paper presents parameter tuning process that can :achieve Parameter tuning of database system that is operating present systematically, and parameter tuning process each activity important input urea and tuning achievement product. And explain about effect and result that happen by sort database system performance and parameters that it is affinity systematically, and grasp relationships between parameter, and change parameter of string database system. And not that parameter uses contents that specify by fixing when establish database administration system, is going to emphasize and explain that must utilize changing continuously during database system operation. It changes parameter entry value how in various kinds different operation environment and present if must apply, and will arrange effect that this parameter enoy value alteration gets in performance liking into account point that is actuality that is using parameter that define database administrators when install the database system just as it is continually without alteration.

자연공원의 서비스스케이프가 탐방객의 지각된 가치, 만족, 행동의도에 미치는 영향 - 팔공산도립공원을 중심으로 - (The Impact of Natural Parks' Servicescapes on Perceived Value, Satisfaction, and Behavior Intention - Focus on Palgong Provincial Park -)

  • 본 연구는 자연공원분야에 서비스스케이프의 개념을 적용하여 서비스스케이프가 탐방객의 지각된 가치, 전반적 만족 그리고 행동의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구결과, 자연공원의 서비스스케이프는 주차장, 화장실, 휴식공간, 부대시설 등 공원 내의 시설을 중심으로, 공원까지의 접근성과 시설이용의 편리성 및 쾌적성의 3개 요인으로 측정할 수 있었다. 또한 탐방객들이 공원 내의 시설 즉, 서비스스케이프를 호의적으로 인지하면 무형적인 경험의 가치도 호의적으로 인식하게 되어 결과적으로 전반적인 만족과 행동의도에 긍정적으로 작용하는 것으로 확인되었다. 특히 탐방객들은 탐방경험을 통한 시간가치를 중요하게 인식하였으며, 이에는 서비스스케이프 요인 중 쾌적성이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 자연공원의 관리적 측면에서 청결하고 쾌적한 환경조성을 위한 지속적인 노력의 중요성을 시사하였다. 본 연구는 자연공원에 서비스스케이프의 개념을 적용한 첫 번째 사례라는 점에서 의의를 지니며, 후속연구를 통해 연구결과의 일반화와 신뢰성의 향상이 요구된다.

  • 본 사례는 대표적인 B2B 기업인 삼성석유화학이 토털마케팅 활동을 통하여 어떻게 고객 가치를 창출하고 있는지를 분석하고 있다. B2B 산업의 많은 기업들은 상대적으로 마케팅의 역할을 과소평가하고 있으며, 마케팅적 접근을 투자가 아니라 비용개념으로 인식하고 있다. 그러나 삼성석유화학의 사례는 B2B 산업에서도 브랜드 마케팅을 정점으로 한 토털 마케팅의 도입이 고객 가치를 창출하는 데 매우 효과적임을 보여주고 있다. 본 사례는 삼성석유화학의 마케팅 전략을 크게 브랜드 마케팅과 이를 실현하기 위한 SPC 모델(서비스-제품-고객)의 두 가지 축으로 제시하고 있다. 삼성석유화학의 토털 마케팅 사례는 적극적인 마케팅 활동을 고려하고 있는 많은 B2B 기업에게 의미 있는 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

구강악안면외과 의료행위 상대가치 개발에 대한 조사연구 (THE STUDY ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF RELATIVE VALUE IN MEDICAL TREATMENT OF THE ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY)

  • The aim of this study is to evaluate the reasonableness of the medical fee on oral and maxillofacial surgery field according to surgeon's opinions and actual conditions. The medical fee has significant influence on hospital income, the supply and distribution of medical manpower, quality and facilities of medical services. Questionnaire survey was sent to 86 oral and maxillofacial surgeons who worked more than 3 years in general hospital. Among them, 25 doctors replied the 109 answers survey and the average of treatment time and physician work relative value on each category was calculated. And the health insurance cost (that has been applied since 2003) was compared with the questionnaire results. And finally we investigated items that health insurance system did not include in oral and maxillofacial field but actually performed in oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic. The result was that the medical fee did not properly reflect physician work relative value of actual treatments. In case of complicated extraction, work relative value needed 3.5 times enhancement of present value. For simple impacted tooth extraction 1.8 times, for impacted tooth extraction including odontomy 1.7 times, and for fully impacted tooth more than 2/3 of it located into the alveolar bone, 1.8 times enhancement needed. In respect of the present physician work relative value, hemimandibulectomy with neck lymph node dissection for the malignancy is appropriated as 3.3 times of open reduction and internal fixation for the mandibular fracture, but the questionnaire result showed 25 times discrepancy. In conclusion, this research shows the need for intervention that health insurance included items and legal relative medical value must act in union with treatment in clinic to reduce the imbalance between them.

지속가능 발전을 위한 소비자 교육용 교육 연극 프로그램 개발 (The Development of Educational Drama Programme to Execute Consumer Education for Sustainable Development)

  • Consumer education which changes human value and attitude to attain practice is necessary to solve the problem of environmental, social, and economical sustainability resulted from material and present-oriented consumption and decrease the effect of consumption on the sustainabilities. However, since the present consumer education is biased toward a traditional viewpoint of economical consumption, management of allowances, and rational purchase and its teaching method still stays on memorizing, cramming and one sided lecture, consumer education containing a key value of sustainable development have not been carried out successfully, Specifically, the consumer education in an elementary school treats mainly just on environmental conservation and economical knowledge even though quite much time is arranged in every school year. So, complement of contents such as understanding of relation between natural resources and consumption and the role and responsibility of a consumer is required to emphasis the sustainable development. In this work, a student-oriented educational drama programme for consumer education is developed with respect to an familiar theme of resources such as water, wood, food, and electricity. Educational drama is an efficient teaching method for consumer education of an elementary school student since it makes students experience virtual situation and produce an interest and active participation. How to execute consumer education in an elementary school textbook was analyzed and an educational drama programme was developed and applied, and finally, the programme was qualitatively improved. The paper survey on five teachers practicing the present programme reveals that is it can be affirmatively evaluated since it is familiar to students and leads to their interests and participation. Consequently, it can be confirmed that the present programme can be effective to perform consumer education for sustainable development.

시중 유통참기름의 품질평가에 관한 연구 (Studies on Quality Evaluation of Current Sesame Oils Sold in Markets)

  • 참기름의 변조 여부를 쉽게 판별하고, 변조에 사용된 혼입유의 실태를 파악할 수 있는 방법으로써 FV(Fatty acid ratio & villavecchia reaction) value를 상요하였다. FV value 는 gas chromtography로 지방산 조성을 분석하여 C18: 1 + C18 : 2/C16 : $0{\times}C18$ : 3값을 구하고 이 값에 modified cilavecchia -suarez test(MVTV)에서 얻어진 값을 곱하여 결정하였다. 이 FV value를 이용하여 전남 지방 시장등지에서 구입한 참기름 총 74건에 대해 그 순도를 판별하고 변조에 사용된 혼입유의 실태를 파악하였다. 수거된 참기름들에 대해 FV value 로 산출한 결과 총 74건 중 11건만이 순수한 참기름으로 추정되어졌다. 변조에 상용된 혼입유의 실태를 산출된 FV value로 추정한 결과 대두유 혼입이 23건으로 가장 많았으며, 그밖에 미강유 혼입 및 깻묵을 유기용매로 재 추출한 참기름이 각각 10건, 들깨유 혼입이 8건, 옥수수유 혼입이 7건, 면실유 혼입이 3건, 채종유 혼입이 2건 등이었다.
