Green frame technology intended to facilitate the remodeling of apartment housing complexes in Korea and extend their service life has been developed. Green frame design is a Rahmen structure using composite precast concrete members and, unlike a bearing-wall structure, lifting and installing structural members accounts for major steps of structural construction. Therefore, if green frame structure construction is to be scheduled appropriately, systematic lifting plan needs to be developed in advance. Development of lifting plan also requires unit lifting process of composite PC members (columns and beams) that consist of green frame to be analyzed first. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze the lifting process of composite PC members used in green frame structure. To that end, lifting procedure and time of composite PC column and beam are estimated and applied to a project case to analyze the lifting cycle of reference floor. Outcomes produced herein will be used as key data for development of lifting plan in subsequent green frame structure construction.

The objective of this study is to develop analytical techniques of polymer impregnated concrete flexural members for its proper applications. crystalline methylmethacrylate(MMA) is chosen as a monomer of polymer impregnants, On the basis of members. fracture toughness, fracture energy , critical crack width, and tension softening relations near crack tip are formulated in terms of member depth, initial notch length and the flexural strength of normal concrete. The structural analysis rocedure and the finite element computer program developed in the study are applicable to evaluate elastic behavior, ultimate strength, and tension softening behavior of MMA type PIC structural members subject to various loading conditions. It is concluded that the developed structural analysis procedure and the finite element computer program are applicable to analysis and design of in-situ and precast PIC structural members.

The purpose of this study is to propose a prototype of an artificial reef primarily composed of space frames and precast concrete members, and also to investigate the structural performance of the reef. The results described in this research confirm that the proposed artificial reef has a structural capacity to withstand 300 kN.
Domestically, application of High Flowing Self-Compacting Concrete (HSCC) is limited to building structures and it is difficult to find examples of application in civil infrastructural constructions. However, in the case of North America and Europe, by introducing precast and prestressed system, HSCC is being used for high-density reinforced bridge members. Hence it is assessed that broadening the utilization of HSCC into areas such as bridges and civil construction is required. Therefore in this research, to apply HSCC to high-density reinforced bridge members, ground granulated blast-furnace slag and fly ash were mixed in binary and ternary systems. Also the dynamical characteristics of HSCC, following 1st class regulations of Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE), were assessed to enable application on high-density reinforced structures. The test results revealed ternary system mixture showed better mechanical characteristics than binary system mixture and the application on high-density reinforced precast bridge members seems possible.
Precast concrete (PC) members are currently being employed for general construction or partial replacement to reduce construction period. As assembly work in PC construction requires connecting PC members accurately, measuring the 6-DOF (degree of freedom) relative displacement is essential. Multiple planar markers and camera-based displacement measurement systems can monitor the 6-DOF relative displacement of PC members. Conventional methods, such as direct linear transformation (DLT) for homography estimation, which are applied to calculate the 6-DOF relative displacement between the camera and marker, have several major problems. One of the problems is that when the marker is partially hidden, the DLT method cannot be applied to calculate the 6-DOF relative displacement. In addition, when the images of markers are blurred, error increases with the DLT method which is employed for its estimation. To solve these problems, a hybrid method, which combines the advantages of the DLT and MCL (Monte Carlo localization) methods, is proposed. The method evaluates the 6-DOF relative displacement more accurately compared to when either the DLT or MCL is used alone. Each subsystem captures an image of a marker and extracts its subpixel coordinates, and then the data are transferred to a main system via a wireless communication network. In the main system, the data from each subsystem are used for 3D visualization. Thereafter, the real-time movements of the PC members are displayed on a tablet PC. To prove the feasibility, the hybrid method is compared with the DLT method and MCL in real experiments.

Early-strength-concrete (ESC) made of Type I cement with a high Blaine value of $500m^2/kg$ reaches approximately 60 % of its compressive strength in 1 day at ambient temperature. Based on the 210 compressive test results, a generalized rateconstant material model was presented to predict the development of compressive strengths of ESC at different equivalent ages (9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 100 and 168 h) and maximum temperatures (20, 30, 40, 50 and $60^{\circ}C$) for design compressive strengths of 30, 40 and 50 MPa. The developed material model was used to find optimum curing regimes for precast prestressed members with ESC. The results indicated that depending on design compressive strength, conservatively 25-40 % savings could be realized for a total curing duration of 18 h with the maximum temperature of $60^{\circ}C$, compared with those observed in a typical curing regime for concrete with Type I cement.

Hybrid Prestressed Precast Concrete System (HPPC system) is a newly developed frame system that can improve the performance of precast concrete (PC) joints by post-tensioning. In particular, the details proposed in this study can reduce the lifting weight of the PC members and eliminate problems caused by cracks in the joints that occur under service loads. This study performed an evaluation on the negative moment performance of full-scaled HPPC girders. The test specimens were cast with or without slabs, with bonded or unbonded tendons, and had different post-tensioned lengths in tensile section. The test results showed that the specimens with slabs had significantly higher stiffness and strength than those without slabs. There were no differences in the flexural behavior between those with bonded or unbonded tendons, and between those with short or long post-tensioned lengths in the negative moment region.

Currently in precast concrete construction, precast concrete and cast-in-place concrete with different concrete strengths are used. However, current design codes do not provide shear design methods for PC-CIP hybrid members using dual concrete strengths. In the present study, the shear strengths of beams using dual concrete compressive strengths (24 MPa, 60 MPa) were tested. The test variables were the area ratio of the two concretes, longitudinal bar ratio, and shear span-to-depth ratio. The shear strengths of test specimens were evaluated by current design methods, using an effective concrete strength (considering the area ratio of the two concrete strengths). The test result showed that when 60 MPa concrete was used in the compressive zone and the longitudinal bar ratio was low, the shear strengths of the test specimens were less than the predictions. On the basis of the results, design recommendations were provided for the shear design of the PC-CIP hybrid beams.

Green Frame is a column-beam structure built by steel frame joints embedded in the columns and beams. Here, the steel frame embedded in the columns and beams is not a standardized product, instead it needs to be order-produced. The quantity for each steel frame size should be calculated to estimate the quantity of steel frames to be manufactured. However, it is highly time-consuming and requires a lot of effort in calculating the quantity of steel frames, for there are a wide range of steel frame types that are embedded in the columns and beams. To solve this problem, the study proposes an algorithm for calculation of the amount of steel frames with ease and promptness. When a program is developed using the algorithm proposed in the study in connection to the information on precast concrete members prepared in the design phase, it is anticipated that the manpower required as well as the manufacturing time will be decreased.
This building is a forty-eight story, 170 meters high multiple dwelling house with Dual Frame System (DFS), a coupled vibration system connecting two independent structures with hydraulic dampers. Generation of large deformation between two structures during earthquakes contributes to make the hydraulic dampers effective. To improve the aseismic performance more, this building adopts DFS hybrid system that consists of DFS and base isolation system. About typical floors, columns and beams are constructed with LRV precast concrete method that shorten the construction period greatly by integrating column-beam joints in column members.
