  • In this paper, the concept of contactless inductive power transfer system used for the PRT system is suggested and some ideas for Power transformer design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. This system has a large air-gap and demands a large electrical power capability But, low output power is generated due to a loosely coupled characteristic of the large air-gap. Therefore, double layer construction of secondary winding, which was divided in half to increase both output current and output voltage was suggested. In addition, the performance of power transformer alignment condition between the primary power line and the power collector was verified by computer simulation of 2kW model.

  • In this paper, the inductive power transformer using electromagnetic induction for the road/railway applied to contactless power transfer system is suggested and some ideas for power collector design to improve the power transfer performance are presented. The proposed the inductive power transformer is used for the light railway/road transportation system. which has a large air-gap and demands a large electrical power capability. But. low output power is generated due to a loosely coupled characteristic of the large air-gap. Therefore, double layer construction of secondary winding, which was divided in half to increase both output current and output voltage was suggested. In addition, the performance of inductive power transformer to alignment condition between the primary power line and the inductive power transformer was verified by computer simulation of 2kW model.

  • 전자기 유도형 무선전력전송에서는 송신 코일과 수신 코일의 상대적 위치에 따른 자기장 분포와 동력 전달 효율이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 ECG 센서를 사용한 HFSS 시뮬레이션 결과를 실제 측정 결과와 비교하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 송신 코일과 수신 코일 간의 정렬이 어느 정도 변경 되더라도 전송효율은 비교적 안정적으로 유지 될 수 있음이 나타났다. 수신 코일의 중심이 송신 코일의 중심과 완벽하게 일치하면 전송효율이 최대가 되며, 수신 코일의 중심이 송신 코일의 중심으로부터 ± 10mm 내의 이동은 전송효율의 감소가 크지 않음을 확인 하였으며, 무선 전력 전송 시스템의 성능이 크게 저하되지 않는 것으로 확인 되었다. 본 결과는 이식형 센서를 위한 무선 전력의 활용에서 무선 전송의 표준화 된 적용 방법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 이식형 임플란트의 개발에 있어 무선전력전송에 대한 기준을 제시하고, 관련 디바이스의 개발에 적용 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A Leakage-Based Solution for Interference Alignment in MIMO Interference Channel Networks

  • Most recent research on iterative solutions for interference alignment (IA) presents solutions assuming channel reciprocity based on the suppression of interference from undesired sources by using an appropriate decoding matrix also known as a receiver combining matrix for multiple input multiple output (MIMO) interference channel networks and reciprocal networks. In this paper, we present an alternative solution for IA by designing precoding and decoding matrices based on the concept of signal leakage (the measure of signal power that leaks to unintended users) on each transmit side. We propose an iterative algorithm for an IA solution based on maximization of the signal-to-leakage-and-noise ratio (SLNR) of the transmitted signal from each transmitter. In order to make an algorithm removing the requirement of channel reciprocity, we deploy maximization of the signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio (SINR) in the design of the decoding matrices. We show through simulation that minimizing the leakage in each transmission can help achieve enhanced performance in terms of aggregate sum capacity in the system.

  • Recently, NiO films have been studied as a buffer layer to fabricate the superconductor with preferred orientation and as a diffusion barrier to prevent the reaction between superconductor and textured nickel substrate . We fabricated NiO films on textured Ni substrate by thermal oxidation with various variables of temperature, oxidation time, atmosphere, and cooling rate. We investigated the alignment of NiO films by XRD and pole figure and the microstructures by SEM. (200) <001> alignment of NiO film was observed at the oxidation condition of $1200^{\circ}C$ far 10min and slow cooling in O2 atmosphere. During the process in Ar atmosphere, we could also observe the thermal faceting which affects the alignment of NiO alms on Ni substrate.

  • Recently, the study for development of system having affinity for environment is on investigation. This issue is also applicable to transportation system. This paper suggested the inductive power transformer used for the road/railway applied to contactless power transfer system. The two secondary windings, large gaped magnetic structure and horizontal alignment between primary and secondary coil for that transformer approach a process for improvement of contactless power transfer system performance.

중량물 취급 보행 시 하지의 역학적 정렬에 따른 생체역학적 변화 분석 (Analysis of Biomechanical Changes According to Mechanical Alignment of the Lower Limbs when Gait with a Material Handling)

  • Objective : Walking with a Material handling is an activity frequently undertaken by agricultural workers in Korea, due to the nature of their work. This study aimed to investigate differences in biomechanical variables according to the mechanical alignment of the lower limbs when walking with a heavy load, and to use this as basic data in the design of various working environments to reduce the skeletomuscular burden on the knee joint. Method : The study subjects comprised of 22 right-foot dominant adult men and women aged between 20 and 23 years. The subjects were divided into a varus or valgus group according to the mechanical alignment of the lower limb by using radiographic findings. The subjects walked without any load and with a load of 10%, 20%, or 30% of their body weight held in front of them. The Kwon3d XP program was used to calculate biomechanical variables. Results : The flexion/extension moment of the knee joint showed a decreasing trend with increased load, irrespective of the mechanical alignment of the lower limb, while the varus group did not show normal compensatory action when supported by one leg at the point of maximum vertical ground reaction force. In addition, in terms of the time taken, subjects showed no difficulties in one-foot support time up to 20%/BW, but at 30%/BW, despite individual differences, there was an increase in single limb. The increased load resulted in a decrease in the ratio of standing phase to ensure physical stability. The valgus group showed a trend of increasing the stability of their center of mass with increasing load, through higher braking power in the early standing phase. Conclusion : In conclusion, although there was no statistical difference in biomechanical variables according to the mechanical alignment of the lower limbs, the varus group showed a more irregular walking pattern with a Material handling than the valgus group, partially proving the association between lower limb alignment and walking with a Material handling.

  • Total 144 quadrupole magnets are installed in PLS. The magnets are connected in series with groups of two or 24. Each group is powered by a high-precision constant-current DC power supply. For the purpose of the beam based alignment of beam position monitors in the PLS, it is necessary to adjust the current of each quadrupole independently. To achieve this, a high current shunt regulator is designed. It can shunt a maximum 50 A of the quadrupole magnet current. The shunt regulator is programmable and the current amplitude can be varied linearly with a 12-bit resolution. Power transistors are used in the current shunt regulator. The operation of transistors is in linear region. The RS232C protocol is used for remote control and status report of the shunt regulator to the main control centre of the PLS. Preliminary result indicates that the calibration accuracy of the beam position monitor can be achievable in less than $10{\mu}m$.

Evaluation of ECCD power requirement for neoclassical tearing modes suppression in the CFETR hybrid scenario

  • The optimal minimum ECCD power is evaluated numerically for completely suppressing the 3/2 and 2/1 NTMs in the CFETR hybrid scenario. For two typical frequencies of ECCD sources launching from two upper launcher (UL) ports, fec = 210 GHz and 240 GHz with O1-mode, UL1: (Ri, Zi) = (8.47, 5.7) m and UL2: (Ri, Zi) = (8.2, 4.5) m, higher frequency of ECCD source launching from the UL2 port is better than that low frequency counterpart from the UL1 port. Using 240 GHz ECCD source launching from the UL2 port, the minimum power required to fully suppress the two NTMs with precise ECCD alignment is 12.4 MW and 16.7 MW, respectively. When good alignment cannot be achieved, the results suggest that the misalignment should not exceed 0.02α, preferably 0.015α, corresponding to 4.4 cm and 3.3 cm. Considering engineering difficulty of high-frequency gyrotron sources, the optimal minimum ECCD power with the 210 GHz source launching from the UL2 port is 17.9 MW and 20.6 MW for completely suppressing the 3/2 and 2/1 NTMs, respectively. In view of this, it is a good choice to select the 210 GHz ECCD source launching from the UL2 port in the short and medium term.

5만 DWT 석유화학제품운반선의 선체변형을 고려한 추진축계 정렬해석 연구 (A study of the analysis of shaft alignment considering hull deflections for 50,000 DWT oil/chemical tankers)

  • 선박이 고출력화, 대형화 됨에 따라 추진축의 강성은 증가한 반면에 선체는 고장력 후판을 사용하므로 이전의 선체보다 훨씬 더 쉽게 변형되는 실정이다. 흘수변화에 따른 선체변형은 축계를 구성하는 각각의 베어링 옵셋 및 반력에 연쇄적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 이는 기존의 선박보다 더욱 정교한 축계정렬이 요구됨을 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 최근 친환경 고효율 선박으로 등장한 5만 DWT급 석유화학제품운반선을 대상으로 선박의 흘수 변화에 따른 선미부 구조해석을 실시하고 구조해석으로부터 얻어진 축계의 상대변위를 이용하여 축계정렬 해석을 수행하였다. 구조해석은 선박의 통상 운항조건에서 최대 흘수 변화를 고려한 2개 조건에서 수행하였다. 이를 바탕으로 선체변형에 따른 베어링 옵셋 변화가 축계정렬에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다.
