  • Ghosh and Ramamoorthi (1996) studied the posterior consistency for survival models and showed that the posterior was consistent, when the prior on the distribution of survival times was the Dirichlet process prior. In this paper, we study the posterior consistency of survival models with neutral to the right process priors which include Dirichlet process priors. A set of sufficient conditions for the posterior consistency with neutral to the right process priors are given. Interestingly, not all the neutral to the right process priors have consistent posteriors, but most of the popular priors such as Dirichlet processes, beta processes and gamma processes have consistent posteriors. For extended beta processes, a necessary and sufficient condition for the consistency is also established.

Posterior Consistency of Bayesian Inference of Poisson Processes

  • Poisson processes are widely used in reliability and survival analysis. In particular, multiple event time data in survival analysis are routinely analyzed by use of Poisson processes. In this paper, we consider large sample properties of nonparametric Bayesian models for Poisson processes. We prove that the posterior distribution of the cumulative intensity function of Poisson processes is consistent under regularity conditions on priors which are Levy processes.

역도 인상동작 수행시 바벨 증가에 따른 EMG 경향성에 대한 연구 (The Research on EMG Tendency Following Increasing Record in Snatch Weightlifting)

  • This research was to know EMG tendency on increasing record in snatch weightlifting. In order to perform this research, we choiced 3 man national weightlifters, EMG analysis were executed on 8 major muscle(Latissimus Dorsi, Trapezius, Anterior Deltoid, Posterior Deltoid, Gastrocenemius, Vastus Medialis, Erector spinae, Abdominal). First trial record of athletics is 80% of each maximal record and increase the $5{\sim}10kg$ gradually. In this study, EMG signal scale of all muscle except posterior Deltoid muscle don't increased according to increasing the barbell weight, This showed a difference between general recognition and experiment result. In posterior Deltoid muscle, EMG signal scale increased according to increasing the barbell weight. It was assumed that EMG signal of protagonist shows possibility of linear increasing if motion have a consistency. It was assumed that In present, In order to increase one's record to $5{\sim}10kg$, Motion consistency training is more effective training method than increasing the muscle force.

  • The continual reassessment method (CRM) provides a Bayesian estimation of the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) in phase I clinical trials. The CRM has been proposed as an alternative design of the standard design. The CRM has been modified to improve practical feasibility and, recently, the likelihood approach CRM has been proposed. In this paper we investigate the consistency and asymptotic normality of the modified likelihood approach CRM in which the maximum likelihood estimate is used instead of the posterior mean. Small-sample properties of the consistency is examined using complete enumeration. Both the asymptotic results and their small-sample properties show that the modified CRML outperforms the standard design.

  • In recent years, theoretical properties of Bayesian nonparametric survival models have been studied and the conclusion is that although there are pathological cases the popular prior processes have the desired asymptotic properties, namely, the posterior consistency and the Bernstein-von Mises theorem. In this study, through a simulation experiment, we study the finite sample properties of the Bayes estimator and compare it with the frequentist estimators. To our surprise, we conclude that in most situations except that the prior is highly concentrated at the true parameter value, the Bayes estimator performs worse than the frequentist estimators.

  • 목 적: 사이버나이프를 이용한 정위적 부분유방방사선치료(Stereotactic Partial Breast Irradiation) 시 기존의 침습적인 위치표지자(Fiducial Marker) 삽입 방식이 아닌 비침습방식에 대한 유용성을 평가 하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법: 본 연구를 위한 영상 중심(Imaging Center)의 일치도는 2D모의치료기와 사이버나이프의 양사방향(Both oblique, 45 °, 315 °) 영상 획득 후 다이스 유사 계수를 통해 정량적으로 평가하였다. 표면위치표지자의 위치 재현성은 본원 프로토콜을 기반으로 ATOM Phantom 표면에 금 재질의 위치표지자 8개를 부착하고 2D모의치료와 치료계획, 사이버나이프 영상을 분석하여 평가 하였다. 결 과: 영상 중심의 일치도 평가결과는 양사방향(45 °, 315 °)에서 각각 0.87, 0.9 였다. 표면위치표지자의 재현성 평가 결과 좌측 유방은 수평수직방향 Superior/Inferior 0.3 mm, Left/Right -0.3 mm, Anterior/Posterior 0.4 mm, 회전 방향 Roll 0.3 °, Pitch 0.2 °, Yaw 0.4 ° 로 나타났다. 우측 유방은 수평수직방향 Superior/Inferior -0.1 mm, Left/Right -0.1 mm, Anterior/Posterior -0.1 mm 회전 방향 Roll 0.2 °, Pitch 0.1 °, Yaw 0.1 ° 로 나타났다. 결 론: 사이버나이프를 이용한 정위적 부분유방암방사선치료 시 표면위치표지자의 비침습 트로토콜을 기반으로 통증 및 감염 등의 예방과 전처치 시간을 줄이고 환자의 경제적 부담을 경감 할 수 있었으며, 영상 중심의 높은 일치도 및 위치표지자의 재현성을 바탕으로 치료에 유용할 것으로 사료된다.

A review of tree-based Bayesian methods

  • Tree-based regression and classification ensembles form a standard part of the data-science toolkit. Many commonly used methods take an algorithmic view, proposing greedy methods for constructing decision trees; examples include the classification and regression trees algorithm, boosted decision trees, and random forests. Recent history has seen a surge of interest in Bayesian techniques for constructing decision tree ensembles, with these methods frequently outperforming their algorithmic counterparts. The goal of this article is to survey the landscape surrounding Bayesian decision tree methods, and to discuss recent modeling and computational developments. We provide connections between Bayesian tree-based methods and existing machine learning techniques, and outline several recent theoretical developments establishing frequentist consistency and rates of convergence for the posterior distribution. The methodology we present is applicable for a wide variety of statistical tasks including regression, classification, modeling of count data, and many others. We illustrate the methodology on both simulated and real datasets.

건강한 자연치열에서 인접면 접촉의 평가 및 측정방법에 따른 비교분석 (Evaluation of the proximal contact and comparison of methods for measuring in normal dentition)

  • 목적. 이 연구의 목적은 건강한 치열에서 치실 방법을 사용하여 인접면 접촉을 비교하고, 이를 셀룰로이드 스트립 방법, 금속 스트립 방법과 비교하여, 공간측정에 가장 효과적인 방법을 알아보는 것이다. 재료 및 방법. 건강한 자연치열을 가진 성인 20명(남자 10명, 여자 10명)을 피실험자로 선정하였다. 임상경험 5년 이상의 치과의사 1인이 치실 방법, 셀룰로이드 스트립 방법, 금속 스트립 방법을 이용하여 인접면 접촉을 평가하였다. 치실 방법으로 수집된 자료는 Mann-Whitney U test를 사용하여 95% 신뢰수준 하에서 R 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그리고 치실을 이용한 인접면 접촉 평가에 셀룰로이드 스트립과 금속 스트립을 사용한 인접면 접촉의 평가를 비교하였다. 결과. 건강한 치열에서 약 80%에서만 적절한 접촉강도를 유지하고 있었으며, 전치부보다 구치부가 더 적절하게 유지하고 있었다(P < .05). 성별에 따른 접촉강도는 전치부에서는 남성이, 구치부에서는 여성이 적절한 접촉을 하는 것으로 나타났다(P < .05). 일치성 척도인 카파 지수(Kappa index)를 이용하여 치실에서 얻은 결과에 대한 셀룰로이드 스트립과 금속 스트립 실험 결과 간의 일치성을 분석한 결과, 셀룰로이드 스트립을 사용하는 것이 금속 스트립을 사용하는 것보다 더 유리한 것으로 나타났다. 결론. 건강한 치열에서 약 80%에서만 적절한 접촉강도를 유지하고 있었으며, 인접면 접촉의 평가에서 다양한 두께의 셀룰로이드 스트립을 사용한다면 보다 정확한 공간 측정의 가능성이 있을 것으로 생각된다.

Effect of different voxel sizes on the accuracy of CBCT measurements of trabecular bone microstructure: A comparative micro-CT study

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the accuracy of cone-beam computed tomographic (CBCT) images obtained using different voxel sizes in measuring trabecular bone microstructure in comparison to micro-CT. Materials and Methods: Twelve human skull bones containing posterior-mandibular alveolar bone regions were analyzed. CBCT images were obtained at voxel sizes of 0.075mm(high: HI) and 0.2mm(standard: Std), while microCT imaging used voxel sizes of 0.06 mm (HI) and 0.12 mm (Std). Analyses were performed using CTAn software with the standardized automatic global threshold method. Intraclass correlation coefficients were used to evaluate the consistency and agreement of paired measurements for bone volume (BV), percent bone volume (BV/TV), bone surface (BS), trabecular thickness (TbTh), trabecular separation (TbSp), trabecular number (TbN), trabecular pattern factor(TbPf), and structure model index (SMI). Results: When compared to micro-CT, CBCT images had higher BV, BV/TV, and TbTh values, while micro-CT images had lower BS, TbSp, TbN, TbPf, and SMI values (P<0.05). The BV, BV/BT, TbTh, and TbSp variables were higher with Std voxels, whereas the BS, TbPf, and SMI variables were higher with HI voxels for both imaging methods. For each imaging modality and voxel size evaluated, BV, BS, and TbTh were significantly different(P<0.05). TbN, TbPf, and SMI showed statistically significant differences between imaging methods(P<0.05). The consistency and absolute agreement between micro-CT and CBCT were excellent for all variables. Conclusion: This study demonstrated the potential of high-resolution CBCT imaging for quantitative bone morphometry assessment.

두경부에 발생한 모기질종(Pilomatricoma) 4예 (4 Cases of Head and Neck Philomatricoma)

  • Pilomatricoma is a benign neoplasm of the hair follicle origin which most common occur in the head and neck, particularly in the cheek and preauricular region. This neoplasm is superficially located and stony, hard consistency on palpation and sometimes shows reddish or bluish discoloration on the overlying skin. The diagnosis is confirmed by histopathologic examination. Radiologic evaluation is little diagnostic and fine needle aspiration biopsy often misdiagnose because both tissues from basaloid cell component and shadow cell component should be obtained for correct diagnosis. And Otolaryngologist should consider the possibility of philomatricoma when childhood or early adulthood persion visits with hard, supferficial mass on the parotid or cheek area. The treatment of choice is surgical excision with clear resection margin. In many instances, overlying skin excision is needed. We report 4 cases of philomatricoma arising from preauricular, cheek and posterior neck.
