호스피스 자원봉사자 교육프로그램 참여군과 비 참여군의 호스피스에 대한 인식과 삶의 의미 비교 (The Effects of Hospice Volunteer Education Program on Perceptions about Hospice and the Meaning of Life)

  • Purpose: This study was to compare the perceptions about hospice and the meaning of life between the participants and non-participants of the hospice volunteer education program. Method: Descriptive survey research design was used. Participants were 63, and the data collecting period was from October to December, 2006. Instrument developed by Jung-Hee Kim(1990) and Eun-Ja Lee(1998) was modified to measure the perceptions about hospice. To measure the meaning of life, P.I.L (Purpose In Life) instrument by Crumbaugh and Maholick(1969) was utilized. The data were analyzed using $X^2-test$, t-test and Pearson-Correlation Coefficient. Results: 1. The participants in the hospice volunteer education program demonstrated higher perception scores about hospice than the non-participants (t=5.193, p= .001). 2. The program participants also showed higher scores of the meaning of life than non-participants (t=3.084, p=.005). 3. The perception about hospice and the meaning of life had positive correlation (r= .46, p= .01). Conclusion: Therefore, hospice education program must be established in a continual and systematic way in order to standardize the hospice system in Korea.

간호사의 생동성에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Vitality among Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to understand the degree of vitality, meaning in life and self-efficacy and to elucidate the factors influencing this vitality in the nurses of Korea. Method: A cross-sectional survey of nurses from 4 hospitals was conducted by convenience sampling. Data collection was conducted through the use of questionnaires which were constructed to include a Vitality Self Test, Purpose in Life Test and Self-efficacy Scale. Results: The degree of vitality in nurses was in the middle range. The nurses of this study had few goals towards meaning in life, and an existential vacuum state. A positive relationship was found between vitality and the research variables. The significant predictors influencing vitality in nurses were meaning in life, self-efficacy, and clinical career, and these variables accounted for 28.7% of the variance in vitality. Conclusions: This results support that vitality is an important link with meaning in life and self-efficacy. There should be a comprehensive study in the future for in-depth understanding of the vitality of nurses.

관계상실경험자의 사건중심성과 의미재구성의 관계: 탈중심화의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of Decentering between Centrality of Event and Meaning Reconstruction on Relational Loss Experience)

  • 본 연구는 관계상실 경험자의 사건중심성이 의미재구성에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 탈중심화의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국 범위로 관계상실을 경험한 20세 이상 성인남녀 295명(남 109명, 여 186명)을 대상으로 상실경험 관련 질문지, 사건중심성 척도, 탈중심화 척도 및 애도에 대한 의미재구성 척도를 사용해 설문 조사를 실시하였고, SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째로 사건중심성과 탈중심화는 의미재구성과 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 탈중심화가 사건중심성과 의미재구성을 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 사건중심성에서 의미재구성으로 가는 직접 경로는 유의하지 않았고, 사건중심성이 탈중심화를 매개할 경우에만 의미재구성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

감사증진 프로그램이 여대생의 삶의 의미와 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Gratitude Enhancement Program on Meaning of Life and Subjective Well-Being of Female Colleges)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 감사증진 프로그램이 여대생의 삶의 의미와 주관적 안녕감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구결과 감사증진프로그램은 여대생의 삶의 의미 하위 영역 가운데 의미발견, 의미추구에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 감사증진 프로그램이 여대생의 주관적 안녕감 하위 영역 가운데 삶의 만족도, 정적 정서 영역 가운데 사랑, 기쁨, 부정적 정서 영역에서는 창피함, 슬픔에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 감사증진 프로그램이 여대생의 삶의 의미와 주관적 안녕감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 증명한 것이다. 앞으로 여대생의 삶의 의미와 주관적 안녕감의 향상을 위해 더욱더 체계적인 감사증진 프로그램에 대한 연구가 필요하며 실제로 활용도를 높여 가야 할 것이다.

호텔컨벤션 직원의 조직후원인식이 임파워먼트 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Effectiveness of Hotel Convention Employee's Perceived Organizational Support on Empowerment and Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구는 사회적 교환 관계의 관점에서 호텔컨벤션 직원이 인지하는 조직후원인식이 임파워먼트 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 대해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 호텔컨벤션 직원이 인식하는 조직후원인식이 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향에서 가설1-1과 가설1-2를 검증한 결과, 수단적 후원은 의미감 및 역량에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났고, 수단적 후원은 영향력에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 한편 가설1-3과 가설1-4를 검증한 결과, 정서적 후원은 의미감 및 역량 요인과 영향력 요인 모두에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로 임파워먼트가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에서 가설2를 검증한 결과, 임파워먼트의 하위개념인 의미감 및 역량 요인과 영향력 요인이 조직몰입에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 마지막으로 가설3을 검증한 결과, 수단적 후원은 조직몰입에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 정서적 후원은 조직몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

경인지역 대학병원 행정직원이 인지하는 임파워먼트 정도가 직무만족과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Workplace Empowerment on University Hospital Administrative Staff's Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment)

  • Empowerment is a multifaceted concept which can be described somewhat differently. In general, it is defined as the motivational concept of autonomy and self-efficacy. Recently, this concept of empowerment is applied to improve organizational staff's job satisfaction and organizational commitment in many organizations. Empowerment in service organizations has certainly generated more publicity than any other organizations. The objective of this study is to measure the degree of hospital administrative staff's empowerment using Spreitzer(1995)'s empowerment theory, and also to analyze the relationship of empowerment and job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Spreitzer argues that the work empowerment is composed of 4 dimensions (meaning, competence, self-determination, and impact) and each dimension influences employee's job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational performance in the end. In order to carry out this study, data were collected by self-administered Questionnaires from 181 hospital administrative staff at 3 university hospitals in Inchon and Kyunggi-Do. The response rate is 86%. The Collected data were analyzed with SPSS statistical package V10.0. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, the degree of hospital administrative staff's empowerment is a high level point at the 7 Likert Scale. Second, the reliability of 3 variables, empowerment, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, was statistically satisfied(Cronbach's alpha>0.80). Third, as a result of correlation analysis, four components of empowerment, job satisfaction and organizational commitment showed a positive relationship. Finally, multiple regression analysis was conducted to find the impact of empowerment on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In the case of job satisfaction, the meaning and competence factors have a positive effect(P<0.05). And the case of organizational commitment, the meaning and impact components have a positive relation(p<0.05). These results showed that the workplace empowerment is significantly related to employee's job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

취업모의 일의 의미와 자녀수반자기가치가 경력몰입에 미치는 영향 - 일·가정 상호관계의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (The Effects of the Meaning of Work and Child-Based Self-Worth on Career Commitment in Working Mothers: Focusing on the Mediation Effect of the Work-Family Interface)

  • The purpose of this study is to resolve the factors that affect happiness levels and l Considering the increasing importance of maintaining and developing the careers of working mothers, this study sought to analyze the effect of the meaning of work (MOW) and child-based self-worth (CBSW) on the work-family interface and career commitment. This is the first exploratory study to examine MOW and CBSW as resources for working mothers. For 10 days, starting August 18, 2020, 309 working mothers were asked to complete a questionnaire commissioned by a professional research institute, and 250 valid samples were then analyzed. The analysis found, first, that MOW had statistically significant positive effects on work-family enrichment and family-work enrichment and a negative effect on work-family conflict. Second, CBSW had a positive effect on work-family and family-work conflicts. Third, work-family enrichment had a positive effect on career commitment, while work-family conflict had a negative effect on career commitment. Finally, the mediation effects of the three paths were determined: MOW→work-family enrichment→career commitment; MOW→family-work enrichment→career commitment; CBSW→work-family conflict→career commitment. These results suggest that, to better manage the career commitment of working mothers, attention should be paid to the MOW, CBSW, and work-family interface.

외상 후 스트레스 장애 환자에서 발생한 환각 경험의 임상적 의미 (Clinical Meaning of Hallucinatory Experience among PTSD Patients)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate clinical meaning of hallucination among patients with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Methods : PTSD patients with hallucination (n=50) were selected and matched with the PTSD patients without hallucination (n=50) by age and sex. The patients were evaluated in two different aspects, pathologic aspects which can develop after traumatic event, and positive/adaptive aspects which are concerned in positive psychology. In addition to these, temperament and character features between two groups were also evaluated using the Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI). Results : Except for the total score of DES (Dissociative Experience Scale) and the score of re-experience subscale of CAPS (Clinician Administered PTSD Scale), clinical characteristics did not show any significant difference between the two groups. Among the comparison of seven higher dimensions in TCI profiles, only Self-transcendence showed significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion : The two groups did not show significant differences in pathologic aspects except for factors that may contribute to development of hallucination. Furthermore, authors could not find any differences in positive/adaptive aspects.

펑첸왕 중국 패션 컬렉션에 나타난 신-해체주의 특성 (Characteristics of neo-deconstruction in Feng Chen Wang's Chinese fashion collection)

  • The aim of this study was to analyze the design characteristics of Chinese fashion designer Feng Chen Wang and interpret their implicit meaning from a neo-deconstruction perspective. A review of domestic and foreign literature, outlined the develop- ment of deconstruction and neo-deconstruction, with neo-deconstruction's aesthetic features termed 'traditional fusion', 'positive playfulness', 'open communication', and 'multiple inclusiveness'. These features informed an analysis of Feng Chen Wang's fashion design. Four key findings emerged. First, 'traditional fusion' combines traditional Chinese colors, items, handicrafts, and patterns with modern design to break down boundaries between past and modern, tradition and fashion. Second, 'positive playfulness' promotes creativity and fun, using bright colors, exaggerated accessories, and playing withthe composition of traditional clothes to create a positive atmosphere. Third, 'open communication' emphasizes design that combines practicality and creati- vity in response to consumer needs, incorporating the thoughts arising from individual experiences and interest in social phenomena. Fourth, 'multiple inclusiveness' breaks down boundaries of sexuality, hierarchy, and body shape, embracing various ideas of beauty and respecting uniqueness through design that are seen as available to all. Using a neo-deconstruction perspective, Feng Chen Wang provides novel product planning ideas for Chinese fashion brands and reflects the values and meaning of modern design pursued by contemporary Chinese designers.

구성주의 관점에서 롤플레잉게임(RPG) 형식을 활용한 중학교 체육수업의 교사 인식과 교육적 의미 탐색 (Exploration of Teacher's Perception and Educational Meaning of Middle School Physical Education Class Using Role-Playing Game (RPG) Format from the Constructivist Perspective)

  • 본 연구는 중학교 체육수업에서 구성주의에 기초한 롤플레잉게임(RPG) 형식의 수업을 적용하여 교육적인 인식과 의미를 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법과 관련하여 자료의 수집은 심층면담, 관찰, 관련 문서를 통해 진행하였고, 자료의 분석은 사례기록 분석과 귀납적 범주 분석방법, 그리고 사례 추출의 과정을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 첫째, 교사의 인식 측면에서 살펴보면, 롤플레잉게임(RPG) 형식을 활용한 중학교 체육수업의 교사 인식은 긍정적인 면과 부정적인 면이 모두 존재한다. 둘째, 교육적 의미 측면에서 살펴보면, 롤플레잉게임(RPG) 형식을 활용한 중학교 체육수업의 교육적 의미는 체계적인 수업계획과 충분한 지원 체계의 필요성이 강조된다. 결론적으로 교육적 함의는 물론 체육교과에 대한 긍정적인 태도가 형성 될 수 있을 것이며 구성주의적 체육수업방식의 기본 토대와 그 기반의 마련은 무엇보다 큰 의미가 있다고 생각된다.
