This study was to analyze amenity of the port landscapes for North port, South port, and Gamcheon port in Busan. Amenity related variables came from Semantic Differential(SD) method and then were conducted by the factor analysis. Multiple regression was done for the relationship between the amenity and factors. The result found 3 factors, including dynamics, stability, and familarity. Much importance was placed on dynamics among them. Therefore, building port landscapes and their image attracting tourists should consider dynamics in terms of port landscape plan and tourist attraction development for amenity quality management.

This research seeks to improve the understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its advantages in the shipping sector. Recently, an improved emphasis on CSR, which incorporates environmental and social concerns into economic considerations of firms, can be found in business management and marketing literature. This is mainly because of people's increased awareness in regards to the negative consequences of corporate activities such as increased environmental pollution and gaps between the rich and the poor. According to the previous literature, it has been revealed that responsible actions by companies can generate positive outcomes in terms of financial and time aspects, but more importantly, intangible equity of the company, including improved corporate reputation, image as well as brand. As the regulation is intensifying in regards to environmental and social responsibility in the shipping sector, shipping companies are trying to engage in CSR to gain competitive advantages. While the reputation and image of shipping companies play essential roles for developing sustainable maritime transport, few studies have been conducted for how the CSR of shipping companies influence the shipping companies' reputation and image relative to other industries. In this regard, this study aims to investigate the effect of the corporate social responsibility on corporate reputation and image of shipping companies on the basis of an exploratory study in the Republic of Korea. This research would be beneficial to both academics and practitioners for developing useful CSR strategies which could promote the public's recognition of the shipping sector.

Agility is vital to real-time enterprises in comtemporary dynamic business environment. This study aims to investigate the relationships between traditional shipping and port logistics firms' customer agility obtained by adopting Internet business, and their corporate image and customer satisfaction. Using questionnaire data, factor analyses were used to figure out five major agility factors, corporate image factor, and customer satisfaction factor. The agility factors were then used to investigate how they improve the firms' corporate image and customer satisfaction. The results of the regression analyses show that agility factors significantly influence the firms' corporate image and customer satisfaction factors.

This paper suggests the navigation information display system which is based on augmented reality technology and especially focuses on image analysis technology. Navigator has to always confirm the information from marine electronic navigation devices and then they compare with the view of outside targets of the windows. During this 'head down' posture, they feel uncomfortable and sometimes it cause near-accidents such as collision or missing objects, because he or she cannot keep an eye on the front view of windows. Augmented reality can display both of information of virtual and real in a single display. Therefore we tried to adapt the AR technology to help navigators and have been studied and developed image pre-processing module as a previous research already. To analysis the outside view of the bridge window, we have extracted navigational information from the camera image by using image processing. This paper mainly describes about recognizing ship feature by haar-like feature and filtering region of interest area by AIS data, which are to improve accuracy of the image analysis.

국가의 중요한 통로가 되는 항만과 연안지역은 밀수선, 적국의 침투선, 해적선등과 같은 위협이 상존하고 있다. 이와 같은 위협 선박의 침입을 막아내기 위해서는 연안지역을 지속적으로 감시하여 이들의 침입을 탐지, 경보할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 그러나 감시인원이 넓은 연안지역을 감시하면서 위협선박을 식별해 내기에는 어려움이 따른다. 이에 본 논문에서는 연안 및 항만을 감시하면서 운항금지구역등에 침입하는 선박에 대해 자동으로 경보를 발생시키면서, 선박의 영상식별을 통해 자동으로 선박의 종류를 분류하여 실제 위협선박인지의 여부를 판별할 수 있도록 하는 시스템과 그 구성을 제안하였다.

최근 소득수준 증가와 주5일제 근무의 정착에 따라 관광수요가 지속적으로 늘어남에 따라 국제여객 터미널을 이용하는 승객이 매년 증가하는 추세이다. 그러나 그동안 항만분야 연구는 화물유치에 초점을 맞추어 온 관계로 국내외를 불문하고 국제여객터미널의 집객전략에 관한 연구는 소홀히 다루어져 왔다. 국제여객터미널의 집객전략은 항만(터미널)의 속성을 반영한 항만마케팅전략과 배후지역의 속성을 반영한 관광마케팅 전략이 통합적으로 수립 운영될 때 그 효과가 극대화될 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 항만선택이론, 항만마케팅이론에 관한 기존 문헌연구를 기반으로 대산항 국제여객터미널의 마케팅믹스 전략을 제시하는 한편, 일본항만들의 집객전략 사례연구를 통해 6A요소를 기반으로 한 서산시의 관광마케팅전략을 제시하였다. 정책적 제안으로는 서산 대산항이 충남권 대중국 인적교류의 주요 거점으로 발전하기 위한 서산시의 Grand Image Up 전략, 테마형, 체험형, 교류형 관광상품 개발, 해양관광자원의 활용, 다양한 지역특색의 관광컨텐츠 개발 및 인근지역과 연계한 관광상품 개발 등을 제시하였다.

The most important thing in the ship is safety. In this paper, we discussed a development of the education system on various equipments concerned to safety. It may increase the effect of the education for the equipment by showing the details of safety equipments, general account, a manual, LSA(Life Saving Appliance) Code and SOLAS convention through an image on a screen.

The port space can be considered to be the space in which the characteristics of the port city are best expressed. Also, since it acts as a representative gateway along with the airport, it can have a direct impact on the image of the region and country. However, the harbor hinterland has been a refuge during the war in the past, and it has been concentrating on development related to the port industry; hence, it has a poorer residential environment. Therefore, in this study, in order to ensure equal development in space and equal access to basic urban services, urban design directions were suggested for the harbor hinterland based on the concept of an inclusive city'. To this end, through factor analysis, urban planning elements that can be applied to urban design were derived, and through PLS(Partial Least Square)regression analysis, based on the opinions of residents and experts, urban design directions for the port hinterland were presented. The study site was Gamcheon Port, one of the Busan Ports in Korea, the hinterland of Gamcheon Port was a high slope, and the residential environment was relatively poor due to the dense concentration of older residential areas.

In a gasoline engine with port injection system, the fuel behavior in the intake port has significant influence on the HC emission and the precise A/F control. That is to say, it is inevitable that the injection direction and behavior of fuel injected in the intake port have an effect on the generation of unburned HC within a cylinder. In this paper, we visualized fuel behavior in the intake port using micro CCD camera synchronized with the stroboscope and investigated the fuel-film characteristics formed at the wall of intake port by processing image captured with VCR in the transparent intake port made of acryl. Using these measuring methods, it was found that fuel behavior and the formation of fuel-film in the intake port could be evaluated qualitatively. And results obtained by these methods show that 2-spray injector minimizes the fuel-film formed in the intake port of a DOHC gasoline engine.

수리학적인 모형실험을 이용하여 플로팅 구조물의 변위를 영상기반으로 관측할 수 있다. 디지털 캠코더 파일로부터 취득된 영상에 프레임 영상 추출, 특징점 추출 및 정합을 수행하였다. 정확한 결과 산출을 위하여 향후 개선된 실험환경에서 동영상 취득을 수행할 예정이다.
