This study aims to identify effective ways to prevent sexually transmitted diseases among sex workers as well as the general public in Korea by examining the case of Thailand, regarded as a model internationally in reducing prevalence rate of sexually transmitted diseases, under the circumstances in which the implementation of the new anti-sex-trade law causes confusion over the existing sexually transmitted disease control program. For the purpose, the study firstly assesses the anti-sex-trade law which has engendered recent debates over the relationship between sex trade and sexually transmitted diseases, and reviews a change of the sexually transmitted disease control system made by the anti-sex-trade law. The Thai case is explored with some special emphasis on relationship between socio-cultural, political and economic factors and sexually transmitted disease control policies. Comparing to the Thai case, the study proposes some suggestions to make the existing sexually transmitted disease control program more effective under the new anti-sex-trade law.

This study is to explore factors to consider for effective operation of synchronous online education in college. Synchronous online education is expanding in higher education. However, there is insufficient to comprehensively identify key components based on the learners' experience and perception. Using qualitative analysis on content of group interview and multidimensional scale analysis, the experience and perception of learners were identified. For the effective operation, interaction should be considered important, and rapport between learners needs to be built. In addition to improving the system in which activity tools are integrated, instructors should play mainly facilitator role, and learners have to manage the environment for immersion. For the types of online education, learners were divided into the dimension of 'activity' and 'temporality'. Further, it is to develop optimized design strategies considering its characteristics.

The learning and cognition of preschool children begins with the color of the object, and the game interface is the child's first impression of the game, so reasonable color design is needed. This article selects 10 educational mobile game for preschool children, extracts colors from the game interface and startup icons, and puts them into Photoshop to analyze the three elements of color hue, lightness, and saturation. Finally, three suggestions are put forward for the color design of game UI. 1.Choose a color similar to the actual color of the thing. 2. Choose warm colors according to your child's preferences. 3. When using contrasting colors, please reduce the brightness or purity of the colors. It is hoped that the research conclusions can provide reference materials for the color design of educational game UI for preschool children.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the human relations and the turnover intent of employees in community centers for the disabled. This also examines the mediating effect of job satisfaction between the human relations and the turnover intent. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted to employees in community centers for the disabled in Chungnam and Daejeon areas. And the 376 data was used for analysis. The results of this research are as follows : 1) the human relations and the job satisfaction had negative statistic association with the turnover intent of employees in community centers for the disabled. 2) the job satisfaction was found to partially mediate between the human relations and the turnover intent. Based on the results of this study, several suggestions can be presented to decrease the turnover intent in terms of the improving of the human relations and the job satisfaction of employees in community centers for the disabled.

The life of studying abroad includes not only school life, but also various areas such as economy, social relationship, and culture, so the level of satisfaction in each area could be differently shown in each individual. Based on this critical mind, this study aims to analyze the satisfaction with life of studying abroad in the multidimensional perspective. To analyze this, a latent class analysis was applied to identify subgroups, and a multinomial logistic regression model was applied to verify factors influencing group classification. The results of the analysis could be summarized into two. First, there were sub-groups showing different satisfaction with life of studying abroad. The sub-groups showed different levels of satisfaction in five areas such as housing, economy, social relationship, study, and culture, which were not discerned in single dimension. Second, the classification of group was complexly influenced by academic factor, psychological/emotional factor, and environmental factor. Especially, the predictive factor had different influences on each sub-factor. Based on such results of this study, this study aims to seek for the practical and policy-level suggestions for improving foreign students' satisfaction with life of studying abroad.

This study investigates, 1) the predicting career attitudes of multicultural youth, 2) the aim was to provide evidence-based data on career and policy development. A survey for a total of 1,335 multicultural youth and data were analyzed by data-mining decision tree with SPSS 23.0. The main findings are as follows. First, female students showed satisfaction in life, self-esteem and support for mothers' career. Second, In boys, self-esteem was the most important. Based on these results, it contains suggestions for career development for multicultural youth.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data such as development of sustainable support policies and performance management evaluation to support sustainable management of domestic franchises by deriving the sustainable growth cycle of domestic franchises. Research design, data, and methodology: This study is based on systematic review study. We combined search terms such as "Start-up", "Sustainability" and "Success" with four databases, RISS, KISS, e-article and DBpia and searched a total of 1,219 articles published by April 21, 2021. In the process, 35 studies were selected and analyzed after an expert review, excluding documents whose overlapping documents, gray zones (e.g., reports, conference presentations, etc.), degree papers, foreign language literature, and dependent variables were not related to the Sustainability factors. Using ERIS model, which is applied to research on the results of startup, and the franchise's growth cycle, which reflects the growth stage of franchises, we analyzed the factors behind the sustainability of franchise. Result: The results of the study are as follows. First, research on the sustainability of franchise has continued since 2009 in Korea, and has been conducted in various fields such as social welfare in addition to venture, start-up and management. Second, sustainability factors of franchise were analyzed from the ERIS performance model indicating the performance of venture, and the 68 subfactors were derived. Third, it is confirmed that there are important factors that affect the sustainable growth of franchise startups in each franchise's growth cycle. Conclusions: It is significant that through this study, we provided better understanding of the factors that sustain sustainability of franchises, policy suggestions, and presented the direction of future study. Theoretical suggestion is that the main reason for the continuous growth of franchise in each domestic franchise is based on the ERIS performance model. The practical implication is that the headquarters and Franchisor can use it to establish and evaluate performance indicators based on the business growth cycle. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for development and performance management evaluation of franchise start-up support policies to support the sustainable management of domestic franchises.

The introduction of the communicative approach in the English language education brings in a Korean the English Program in Korea (EPIK), which is a Korean government sponsored program established 1995. by the Korean Ministry of Education improve Korean students' and teachers' communicative competency in English within the public school system in Korea. For this goal, EPIK invites English speakers from 7 major English-speaking countries. However, the effectiveness of this program has been questioned in Korea. Thus, the objective of this paper is to explore the current status, problems, and the directions for the program to be aimed at, and for the effectiveness of EPIK through investigation of the program. Then this paper presents some possible solutions and suggestions including the possibility of VR use in orientation and training programs in order to empower both Korean teachers of English and English native teachers in Korea.

This study examined career maturity of primary and middle school students who were interested in teaching job and compared to those who were interested in being a doctor. Using the data from the Korean Education Longitudinal Study 2013, we examined changes in the number of students (primary 5 through middle 2) who were interested in teaching as a job as well as in being a doctor. In addition, the participants' career maturity such as self-understanding, career planing, and attitudes towards job were examined and independent sample t-tests were conducted to compare two groups of students. Overall, the students who were interested in teaching showed lower level of career maturity compared to those who expected to be a doctor. Additionally, as students advanced to higher grades, the points of career maturity had been decreased regardless of which job they were interested in. Based on the findings, suggestions will be made to broaden the pool for future teachers.

The interest in online education has increased due to the spread of COVID-19. Especially, in the online environment, the importance of scaffolding, which refers to the help and support provided by instructors or peer learners, is being emphasized. This study aimed to review the antecedents of online scaffolding at the university of Korea through the method of systematic review. For this purpose, we collected 578 studies conducted from 2010 to 2021 and selected 7 studies according to the criteria of selection and exclusion. As a result, we found general features, types, and effects of online scaffolding at the university of Korea. Based on these results, we discussed suggestions and implications for a follow-up study. We hope many empirical kinds of research will be conducted about online scaffolding at the university.
