반응표면법을 이용한 구조물 최적설계 프로그램의 개발 (Development of a Structural Optimal Design Code Using Response Surface Method Implemented on a CAD Platform)

  • A response surface method(RSM) is utilized for structural optimization and implemented on a parametric CAD platform. Once an approximation of the performance function is made, no formal design sensitivity analysis is necessary. The approximation gives the designer the sensitivity information and furthermore intuition on the performance functions. The scheme for the design of experiment chosen for the RSM has a large influence on the accuracy of converged solutions and the amount of computation. The D-optimal design criterion as implemented in this paper is found efficient for the structural optimization. The program is developed on a parametric CAD platform and tested using several shape design problems of such as a torque arm and a belt clip. It is observed that the RSM used provides a faster convergence than other approximation methods for design sensitivity.

  • The changes in the game platform is appeared since the advent of smart-phones. Apple's iOS or Google's Android platform is gradually expanding their territories in the mobile game area. Android's platform fragmentation and the absence of game development framework act as barriers for game developments. In the development of game applications on the smart-phone, the standardized development procedures under game framework can achieve the productivity improvement. In this paper, we propose a new design pattern suitable for the design of a framework for new areas of application through the expansion of existing framework. The design and implementation of the Android game development framework is presented by taking advantage of existing design patterns and a proposed pattern. Also we propose the standardized development procedure of game applications under the proposed framework.

치매노인환자 간병지원을 위한 스마트 돌봄 플랫폼 설계 (The Design of Smart Care-platform for Supporting Care of Elderly Patients with Dementia)

  • In modern society, dementia patients are increasing due to busy daily life. Due to the nature of dementia, family members are having a hard time with their caring activities. Dementia diseases reduce the quality of life not only of the patient, but also of the family, and nursing activities lead to social problems such as unemployment or frequent turnover. This study aims to reduce the difficulty and stress of the nursing process by supporting daily life of dementia patients and nursing activities through smart care platform. Ultimately, we will reduce the cost of treatment for people with dementia and delay the worsening of symptoms through a systematic care program for people with dementia. The smart dementia care platform features smart technology to help the dementia patients' daily lives and support their caregivers.

반잠수식 해양구조물의 동위치제어에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Dynamic Positioning Contol of a Semi-Submergible Platform)

  • This paper presents a design method of dynamic positioning control system in view ofpractical design concept for reliability and robust realization. This method adopts a design method of multivariable robust servo system. The practical experiments of the dynamic positioning control were carried out for a semi-submersible 2-lower hull type platform model with 4 rotatable thrusters in a small water tank. The results fo overall experiment show that the proposed position control method will be an efficient method to the better control performance of dynamic positioning system under serere environment and it is substentially practicable for the platform.

  • Safety flight training can be done, through the platform proposed in this paper. This paper designed a flight dynamic model and identified essential functions in order to enable pilots to simulate a training environment similar to the actual. It also design activity diagram, concept as well as class diagram. This paper presents the main features and direction of aircraft to be equipped in the future standard platforms. By design main class of flight dynamic and description. it will help developer to setup the standard platform for aircraft simulation.

VR 서비스 플랫폼의 사용자 경험 평가 -Oculus와 NOON을 중심으로- (User Experience Evaluation of VR Service Platform -Focused on Oculus and NOON VR-)

  • 본 연구는 오큘러스(Oculus)의 오큘러스 스토어(Oculus Store)와 에프엑스기어(FXGEAR)의 눈 VR 스토어(NOON VR Store)를 중심으로 VR 서비스 플랫폼에 관하여 분석하고 고찰하여 어떤 차이가 있는지를 연구하였다. 1차로 문헌연구를 통해 VR 시장의 현황 및 전망 등을 고찰하였고 VR 서비스 플랫폼에 관한 사례조사를 하였다. 또한, 플랫폼의 사용성 평가의 지표가 되는 안드레이 학주와 히라노 아쓰시의 플랫폼 전략에 대해 이론적 고찰을 선행하였다. 2차로 VR 서비스 플랫폼인 오큘러스의 오큘러스 스토어와 에프엑스기어의 눈 VR 스토어를 중심으로 VR 서비스 플랫폼의 사용성을 조사하기 위해 대학교육 이상의 피실험자들을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 추후 VR 서비스 플랫폼을 구성하는데 디자인 가이드라인으로 활용 할 수 있으며 사용자 경험 연구에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

10MW급 부유식 파력-풍력 복합발전 시스템 플랫폼 초기설계를 위한 위상최적화 응용 (Topology Optimization Application for Initial Platform Design of 10 MW Grade Floating Type Wave-wind Hybrid Power Generation System)

  • 본 연구에서는 10 MW급 부유식 파력-풍력 복합발전 시스템의 플랫폼 초기 개념설계를 위해 유한요소해석 기반 위상 최적화를 검토하였다. 실제 파력-풍력 복합발전 시스템 플랫폼의 위상최적화를 수행하기 전에 단순화된 구조설계 문제를 이용하여 효율적인 위상최적화 이론을 확인하고자 밀도법과 균질화설계법의 두 가지 위상최적화 이론을 적용하였다. 단순화된 설계 문제의 결과로부터 균질화설계법 이론을 파력-풍력 복합발전 시스템의 플랫폼 위상최적화에 적용하였다. 파력-풍력 복합발전 시스템의 플랫폼 개념설계를 위해서 유한요소해석 모델을 생성하고 설치해역의 해양환경하중을 고려하여 구조해석을 수행하였다. 설계파 및 조류와 같은 해양환경하중으로부터 기인하는 플랫폼 상의 압력과 계류삭의 인장력을 산출하기 위하여 동수력학 해석을 수행하였다. 구조해석을 위한 하중조건은 부유체 동수력학 해석으로부터의 결과와 파력-풍력 복합발전 시스템 중량을 고려하였고, 경계조건은 관성제거법을 사용하여 구현하였다. 밀도법 기반 파력-풍력 복합발전 시스템 플랫폼의 위상최적화 결과로부터 개념설계 단계에서 주요 구조부재의 배치방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과로부터 위상최적화는 부유식 파력-풍력 복합발전 시스템과 같은 새로운 형식의 해양구조물 개발에 있어서 주요 구조부재 배치의 개념설계에 대해 유용한 설계도구임을 확인하였다.

Pipelined Scheduling of Functional HW/SW Modules for Platform-Based SoC Design

  • We developed a pipelined scheduling technique of functional hardware and software modules for platform-based system-on-a-chip (SoC) designs. It is based on a modified list scheduling algorithm. We used the pipelined scheduling technique for a performance analysis of an MPEG4 video encoder application. Then, we applied it for architecture exploration to achieve a better performance. In our experiments, the modified SoC platform with 6 pipelines for the 32-bit dual layer architecture shows a 118% improvement in performance compared to the given basic SoC platform with 4 pipelines for the 16-bit single-layer architecture.

Design and Development of Big Data Platform based on IoT-based Children's Play Pattern Analysis

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish an IoT-based big data platform that can check the space and form analysis in various play cultures of children. Therefore, to this end, in order to understand the healthy play culture of children, we are going to build a big data platform that allows IoT and smart devices to work together to collect data. Therefore, the goal of this study is to develop a big data platform linked to IoT first in order to collect data related to observation of children's mobile movements. Using the developed big data platform, children's play culture can be checked anywhere through observation and intuitive UI design, quick information can be automatically collected and real-time feedback, data collected through repeaters can be aggregated and analyzed, and systematic database can be utilized in the form of big data.

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is diversely utilized in our lives such as daily hobbies, specialized video image taking and disaster prevention activities. New ways of UAV application have been explored recently such as UAV-based delivery. However, most UAV systems are being utilized in a passive form such as real-time video image monitoring, filmed image ground analysis and storage. For more proactive UAV utilization, there should be higher-performance UAV and large-capacity memory than those presently utilized. Against this backdrop, this study described the general matters on proactive software platform and high-performance UAV hardware for real-time target tracking; implemented research on its design and implementation, and described its implementation method. Moreover, in its established platform, this study measured and analyzed the core-specific CPU consumption.
