주파수 변화에 따른 5상 농형 유도전동기의 정수 추정 (Parameters Estimation of Five-Phase Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor in Changing Variable Frequency)

  • This paper propose a variable parameter estimations of five-phase squirrel-cage induction motor(IM) for speed control system. In order to high performance control of AC motor using a field oriented control(FOC) and direct torque control(DTC) algorithm, there are required precise motor parameters for slip calculation, flux observer, controller gain, rotor position, speed estimation, and so on. We are suggest a analyzed estimation results of the motor parameters that developing five-phase squirrel-cage IM have a stator of concentrated winding for experimental of variable input power frequency. There are results of stator winding test, no-load test, locked-rotor test, variable actual load test, and estimated parameters of equivalent circuits using manufactured experimental apparatus by IEEE Standard Test Procedure for Polyphase Induction Motors and Generators 112-2004.

  • Switched reluctance motors have received much attention as a driving means for various industrial applications because they have simple construction, low cost and high efficiency. Nevertheless, the requirements of drive converters make it difficult to lower the overall system cost as compared with the DC motor application. Single phase switched reluctance motors (SPSRMs) provide a solution to the high cost problem since the number of switching power devices can be reduced and consequently the trials for application are increased. However, research involving SPSRMs, especially in the area of design work, is insufficient. This paper introduces a novel design methodology of single phase SRM. The design work for SPSRM comprises the determination of many variables such as stator and rotor pole arc as well as on, off and so on. Managing all variable combinations leads to lengthy computation time and a fault in the design process. For that reason, a reliable technique and brief procedure term are required in SPSRM design.

  • The torque of SRM depends on phase current and the derivative of inductance. But the inductance of SRM is nonlinearly changed according to rotor position angle and phase current because of saturation in magnetic circuit. Therefore this has a concern in torque ripple and speed variation, and it is difficult to control the desired torque The torque of SRM depends on phase current and the derivative of inductance. This paper proposes an optimization control scheme by adjusting both the turn-on and turn-off angle according to high efficiency points which are simulated by GA-Neural Network, which is used to simulate the reasonable switching angle which is nonlinearly varied with rotor speed and load.

  • Among the emerging non-volatile memory technologies, phase change memories are the most attractive in terms of both performance and scalability perspectives. Phase-change random access memory(PRAM), compare with flash memory technologies, has advantages of high density, low cost, low consumption energy and fast response speed. However, PRAM device has disadvantages of set operation speed and reset operation power consumption. In this paper, we investigated scalability of $Ge_{1}Se_{1}Te_{2}$ chalcogenide material to improve its properties. As a result, reduction of phase change region have improved electrical properties of PRAM device.

  • This paper presents a digital instrument for the power quality analysis in three phase power system where current waveform is non-sinusoidal. It is based on C31 DSP and on a special high-speed data acquisition system. Voltage and current waveforms are acquired and processed by using a simple average power algorithm, The paper also goes on to discuss the performance of an instrument prototype both in terms of accuracy and speed of measurement.

  • In this study, we have analyzed the cost of korea high-speed railway system. The predicted cost in planning phase and adjustment data to 5th year are collected. Then, predicted cost is compared with adjustment in year/item/system base. We make a project history table for criteria to review project history and research & development activity. We have developed CBS(cost breakdown structure) and allocated adjustment data to them. It is shown that cost prediction related to research & development activity in planning phase is relatively correct.

  • This paper describes a new method for indirect sensing of the rotor position in switched reluctance motors using fuzzy logic algorithm. Through a novel fuzzy algorithm, the complete SRM magnetizing characterization is first constructed, and then used to estimate the rotor position. And also, the optimized phase is selected by phase selector. To demonstrate the promise of this approach, the proposed rotor position estimation algorithm is simulated for variable speed range.

  • In 2010, the second phase of Kyeongbu KTX high speed train construction is expected to be completed. Therefore KTX's fare system need to be further improved. In this study, analyze the present condition and problems whit applying the existing fare system into the second phase of KTX high speed train, and then suggests improvement measures that divide KTX's fare system with distance-based fare and service-based fare.

  • This paper investigates the position sensorless control of switched reluctance motor. The system consists of the position detection circuit by the new phase detection algorithm, digital logic commutator, PLL for speed control and 4-phase inverter. The performances in the proposed system are verified through the experiment.
