동북아 부가가치 석유물류 비즈니스 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Business Model for Value Added Petroleum Logistics in Northeast Asia)

  • 한·중·일을 포함하는 동북아지역은 1990년대 이후 급속한 경제성장과 더불어 역내외 석유물류가 증대되고 있다. 우리나라는 이러한 대외적인 환경하에서 2000년대 중반 이후 동북아 석유물류허브화 정책을 추진해 왔다. 동북아 물류허브화를 위해서는 부가가치 석유물류의 비즈니스 활성화를 위한 비즈니스 모델의 구축과 촉진이 중요하다. 동북아 지역에서 우리나라 석유물류 비즈니스 모델을 분석함으로써 석유물류 활성화에 대한 정책적·실무적 시사점을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 전체 23개 탱키지 업체를 대상으로 면담조사에 의한 사례분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 면담조사한 대부분의 유류저장탱크터미널업체들은 블랜딩, 소분화, 집적화와 같은 부가가치 석유물류를 실시하고 있다. 둘째, 부가가치 석유물류의 발생은 주변국들간 수급의 불균형에 의해 발생하고 있는데 특히 일본, 오세아니아, 미국, 남미 등을 연결하는 소분화와 블랜딩 수요가 높다. 셋째, 부가가치 물류수요에 대응한 인프라, 제도 및 규제 등에 대한 개선을 통해 부가가치 석유물류의 활성화를 촉진해야 할 것이며 이는 우리나라의 동북아 오일허브 정책에 크게 기여하게 될 것이다.

  • 본 연구는 경질제품의 유통구조와 물류체계를 공간적 관점에서 분석하였다. 석유제품은 정유사, 대리점, 주유소의 유통기관들을 통해서 공급되지만, 제품의 특성과 용도별로 상이한 유통경로를 갖고 있다. 석유제품의 수송은 정유공장에서 주요 소비지역에 입지하고 있는 저유소까지의 1차 수송과 주유소로부터 주유소나 중소수요처까지의 2차 수송으로 이루어진다. 1차 수송에는 유조선, 유조화차, 송유관, 유조차가 이용되고, 대리점이나 수송용역 업체가 담당하는 2차 수송은 대부분 유조차가 수송을 전담하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SK와 LG 정유사의 저유소 분포와 저유소 유형별 공급권역을 분석하였다. 또한 하나의 저유소가 관할하는 공급권역내에 포함된 인구수와 자동차수, 주유소수를 도출하였고, 이를 바탕으로 하나의 주유소가 공급을 담당하는 최소요구치 수요인 인구수와 자동차수를 산출하였다.

  • Crude oil is the world's most actively traded commodity and also one of the most significant resources in the world. The impact of oil price volatility has great influences on macroeconomic activities. This presentation is to review and analyze the oil price fluctuation and to examine the effects especially on the offshore oil production and thereafter to look over the challenges and opportunities in this sector focusing on the petroleum logistics.

An Input-Output Analysis on the Economic Effect of the Korean First Medium-term Logistics Plan (2001-2005)

  • This study introduces the adoption of the logistics industry by the Korean government as a threshold of overcoming economic difficulties. The core contents of the National Logistics Plans (2001-2020) which contain the basic principles of the logistics policies of the Korean government and its aim to be an 'Excellent Nation of Logistics' is introduced. The economic effect of the logistics policies implemented between 2001 and 2005, (the period of the first Medium-term Logistics Plan according to the National Logistics Plans (2001-2020) set up by the Korean government at the end of 2000) is estimated through input-output analysis. The input-output analysis result is as follows: the total output effect is 8,856 billion won of which indirect output effect is 3,982.9 billion won; indirect output effect comes mainly from real estate and business services, non-metal products, metal products, electrical and electronics products, finance and insurance, wholesale and retail, petroleum and coal; the total amount of value-added effect is 3,376 billion won and total import effect is 726 billion won. Employment effect including self-employed and unpaid family supporters with paid laborers is 79,203.7 people of which paid laborers comprise 67,547.7 people.

  • The successful management of logistics in an organization requires the careful coordination and manipulation of both movement and storage. In this study, we can show what is the most efficient and the cheapest method to transport the petroleum products under a few constraints with the model of linear programming. And also, the model can give some important informations so as what is the best coverages of each terminals by types, how many products should be exchanged among each companies and which terminals or complexes are economically prior to the others. Even we can understand that the duality is one of the useful measures to evaluate the economical efficiencies of transportation and storage related elements such as complex and terminal location, transport mode, storage tankage capacity and in/outflow facilities of terminals etc.

  • Purpose: The government of India has initiated the Covid-19 Vaccination drive from early January 2021. Vaccination is identified to be best option to protect the people across the globe. However, owing to fast wide spread of the Covid-19, the Vaccine Distribution is a major challenge owing various issues like temperature control, infrastructure, hesitancy, geographical diversity, and other critical factors. Various research is carried out globally to understand and study the Vaccine Distribution issues based on the respective country issues and factors. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: This research paper attempts to explore prominent factors that could be taken up on priority for better and effective vaccination program. The study tries to rank various factors and sub-factors affecting vaccine distribution in India. AHP methodology based on feedback from 22 experts from the Vaccine industry has been deployed to get the desired results. Result: The results show that factors vaccine approval process, geographical prioritization, power supply, infrastructure maintenance costs for vaccine storage, and vaccine pricing are the prominent factors of effective vaccination in the country. Conclusion: The role and need for district-level health officers towards vaccine storage has been brought forward. A long-term effective vaccination policy is needed for optimum vaccine distribution.

  • In this paper, an algorithm for approximating zeros of sum of three monotone operators is introduced and its convergence properties are studied in the setting of 2-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Unlike the existing algorithms whose step-sizes usually depend on the knowledge of the operator norm or Lipschitz constant, a nice feature of the proposed algorithm is the fact that it requires only a diminishing and non-summable step-size to obtain strong convergence of the iterates to a solution of the problem. Finally, the proposed algorithm is implemented in the setting of a classical Banach space to support the theory established.

  • 글로벌 금융위기의 진원지인 동북아시아 지역은 전통적으로 석유의 생산 및 소비 불균형이 심화된 지역이며, 최근에는 급증하는 석유거래로 인해 저장 및 수송설비의 부족현상까지 겪고 있어 안정적 석유 공급을 위협하고 있다. 따라서 동북아시아 지역 내 독립적인 석유물류허브 기능을 갖춘 시설과 석유거래의 기능까지 담당할 수 있는 시장의 형성이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 동북아 지역의 석유물류허브 구축 후보 국가를 대상으로 한 석유산업 관련 설비인 정제시설의 정태적 및 동태적 효율성 분석을 통해 시사점을 도출하였다. 동북아 역내 주요 국가들의 석유정제설비의 효율성은 우리나라가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났으며 우리나라가 동북아시아 지역의 석유물류거점의 역할을 수행하기 위해서는 정부의 적극적인 정책지원이 필요하다.

  • 세계의 주요 자원중 하나인 원유는 산업의 가장 기초적인 부분을 담당하고 있으며 원유를 통하여 많은 액체화물이 생산되고 있다. 석유화학단지들은 인근의 항만을 통해 원유를 수입후 정제를 통해 석유정제품, 화학생산공업품 등을 생산한다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 주요 석유화학단지와 인근에 위치한 액체화물 항만 간의 관계를 확인하고자 울산항, 대산항, 여수광양항을 선정하였다. 항만물동량 시계열 데이터를 이용한 분석을 실시하였으며 VAR 모형을 이용하였다. 이를 수행하기 위해 단위근 검정을 실시했으며 Granger 및 Toda-Yamamoto 인과 검정을 통하여 관계를 확인하였다.

Design of a Smart Safety Vest Incorporated With Metal Detector Kits for Enhanced Personal Protection

  • Background: Personal protective equipment (PPE) has been designed in such a way to reduce accident rates. Unfortunately, existing PPE is rather ineffective as it is not able to provide warning signals when hazard is around. The integration of intelligent systems is envisaged to increase the efficiency of existing PPE. Methods: This project designed a safety vest incorporated with metal detectors which can provide immediate warning to the field workers when there is metal hazard around. This product has greater freedom of design via smart manufacturing as it involves the assembly of few commercially available parts into a single entity. Briefly, the metal detector is a do it yourself (DIY) kit, and the safety vest is purchasable from any local market. The DIY kit was connected to a copper coil and being sewed into the safety vest. Results: The metal detector induces beeping sound when there is metal hazard around. A total of 121 engineering students were introduced to the prototype before being requested to answer a survey associated with the design. Respondents have rated >3.00/5.00 for the design simplicity, ease of usage, and light weight. Meanwhile, respondents suggested that the design should be further improved by increasing the metal detection range. Conclusion: It is envisaged that the introduction of this smart safety vest will allow the workers to carry out their duties securely by reducing the accident rates. Particularly, such design is expected to reduce workplace accident especially during night time at construction sites where the visibility is low.
