Customer participation in the service encounter plays an important role in the interaction process. In addition, customer participation is affecting the development of relationships between customer-service provider. Previous researches revealed the role of customer participation through a fragmented and cross-sectional approach, however, given the dynamics of the relationship, it is necessary to identify the role of customer participation from a longitudinal perspective. In addition, it is necessary to determine the cause of the overlap between the antecedent variables and consequent variables. This study aims to identify the relational role of customer participation by clarifying how customer participation affects relationship development from a longitudinal perspective, focusing on trust and commitment variables which are keys to relationship marketing. The related role of customer participation is analyzed through a regression analysis through long-term data. The results of the study showed that commitment(t1) directly had a positive effect on customer participation. However, trust(t1) has been shown to have a direct positive effect on the sub-dimensions of customer participation, such as personal interaction and responsible behavior. Customer participation(t2) affected by this trust(t1) and commitment(t1) again turned out to have a positive effect on trust(t3) and commitment(t3). In conclusion, although customer participation is affected by the relational variables, it can be seen that customer participation is a major factor that can improve the relational variables again through the interaction process. For this reason, a service firm can seek to develop relationships with customers by drawing and utilizing their needs to exchange information and to interact in the service encounter.

Opinion mining is a way to analyze the emotions in the text and is used to identify the emotional state of the author and to find out the opinions of the public. As you can analyze individual emotions through opinion mining, if you analyze the text by region, you can find out the emotional state you have in each region. The regional sentiment analysis can obtain information that could not be obtained from personal sentiment analysis, and if a certain area has emotions, it can understand the cause. For regional sentiment analysis, we need text data created by region, so we need to collect data through Twitter crawling. Therefore, this paper designs a Twitter data collection system for regional sentiment analysis. The client requests the tweet data of the specific region and time, and the server collects and transmits the requested tweet data from the client. Through the latitude and longitude values of the region, it collects the tweet data of the area, and it can manage the text by region and time through collected data. We expect efficient data collection and management for emotional analysis through the design of this system.
Everyday hearing handicap caused by presbycusis ultimately reduces quality of life in older adults. The aim of this study was to explore effects of cognitive impairment on self-reported hearing handicap in older adults with early-stage presbycusis. We compared K-HHIE scores between 40 elderly subjects with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and age- and hearing-threshold matched 40 cognitively normal elderly (CNE) subjects. The results are as follows: 1) The MCI group scored significantly higher than the CNE group on the social/situational and emotional sections, and in total. 2) The MCI group scored significantly higher than the CNE group on all four subscales, and the most significant group difference was on the first subscale relating to interpersonal relationships and social handicaps. 3) Both groups scored highest on the item 8 (problems hearing whispering sounds) and item 15 (problems hearing TV or radio sounds). Besides those two items, the MCI group also scored high on the item 21 (problems hearing in a restaurant), item 6 (problems hearing when attending a party), item 3 (avoiding groups of people), and item 20 (personal or social restrictions). Our findings suggest that, among older adults with early-stage presbycusis, older adults with cognitive impairment tend to report greater everyday hearing handicap than their peers with normal cognitive function. Especially, they show significant problems hearing in background noise or multi-talker situations, which cause social restrictions and social/emotional loneliness.

In systems such as railways, automobiles, and airplanes, system malfunctions may lead to accidents, which often cause serious personal injury and economic loss. In previous studies, failure analysis has been performed, and safety measures derived using the component level information to reduce damage when a failure occurs. However, in functional safety concept, a focus is placed on lowering the frequency of occurrence of failures by performing risks analysis, setting up safety goals, and designing safety functions. Therefore, it is necessary to study how to determine the required safety function that can reduce the failure frequency to the acceptable level. To achieve this, we first studied a failure modeling method using SysML. It was then presented how several alternatives can be assessed to determine the desired safety function by simulating the generated SysML failure models and calculating the ability to reduce the failure frequency. A case study of a railway signaling system was done, demonstrating the effectiveness of the approach. We assessed whether the safety objectives were met for the alternative design of the railway signaling system through M & S. The results can be useful in that it can be applied from the early design phase and allow to choose the appropriate safety function that satisfies safety objectives among various design alternatives.

Injury mechanisms of lower extremity injuries in motor vehicle accidents are focused on fractures, sprains, and contusions. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the analysis of lower extremity injury mechanism in occupant motor vehicle accident by using Hospital Information System (HIS) and reconstruction program, based on the materials related to motor vehicle accidents. Among patients who visited the emergency department of Wonju Severance Christian Hospital due to motor vehicle accidents from August 2012 to February 2014, we collected data on patients with agreement for taking the damaged vehicle's photos. After obtaining the verbal consent from the patient, we asked about the cause of the accident, information on vehicle involved in the accident, and the location of car repair shop. The photos of the damaged vehicle were taken on the basis of front, rear, left side and right side. Damage to the vehicle was presented using the CDC code by analytical study of photo-images of the damaged vehicle, and a trauma score was used for medical examination of the severity of the patient's injury. Among the 1,699 patients due to motor vehicle crashes, 88 (5.2%) received a diagnosis of lower extremity fracture and 141 (8.3%) were the severe who had ISS over 15. Nevertheless during 19 months for research, it was difficult to build up in-depth database about motor vehicle crashes. It has a limitation on collecting data because not only the system for constructing database about motor vehicle crash is not organized but also the process for demanding materials is not available due to prevention of personal information. For accurate analysis of the relationship between occupant injury and vehicle damage in motor vehicle crashes, build-up of an in-depth database through carrying out various policies for motor vehicle crashes is necessary for sure.
This study is to discusses the relevance of social welfare in Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The results of the study are as follows. First, psychoanalytic theory details the client's family history and personal history to help them identify the characteristics of the problem they have today. At this time, social workers actively listen to clients and try to get various information.Second, when used in psychoanalytic techniques, the resistance of the client can be interpreted and analyzed to help the client maintain friendly relationships with the client.Third, psychoanalytic theory can properly apply the client's current state of mind by understanding the potential conflicts or emotions that exist in the client's unconscious mind. Fourth, during the process of intervention, social workers need to deal well with the client's transition response. This process allows social workers to observe the effect of reducing the stimuli that can cause nervousness in clients.In conclusion, all the techniques of interpretation used in psychoanalytic theory are, after all, techniques that help social workers improve clients' insight into their problems and help clients solve their psychological problems themselves. The psychoanalytic theory is widely applied in social welfare.

Collision of small vessels such as fishing boats cause great personal injury. Prior to this study, the collision prevention algorithm was developed to assess the collision risk and make the collision alarm. However, a service provided for safety, such as a collision warning, not only prevents risks, but also requires a certain degree of user satisfaction to function effectively. In this study, the collision prevention algorithm for small vessels was improved to be more practical, and the effects of the improvement were confirmed by applying the algorithm. A survey conducted on the users of the collision warning service confirmed the user requirements for improving the accuracy of the collision warning system and reducing the volume and number of alarms. Accordingly, the algorithm was improved for user satisfaction, and the actual vessel experiment was performed applying the improved algorithm in an actual maritime environment. As a result, the frequency of alarm occurrence decreased compared to former algorithm, but the alarm was relatively steadily generated in dangerous situations. It was analyzed that the accuracy and practicality of the collision alarm were improved. If the practicality and reliability of the improved algorithm are verified in the further study, it will be able to effectively contribute to the prevention of collisions of small vessels.
Purpose - Many companies use the Internet to conduct their business to maintain and acquire their customers. SNS is used as a site where users can create profiles, build personal networks, and then share and exchange information with others. Not only do people use SNS for their self-promotion, but they also promote their services by creating SNS pages. SNS is recognized as a medium for implementing effective advertising strategies and is being used as an important means of promoting the company. Therefore, in this study, we investigate the effect of SNS marketing characteristics of restaurant franchise firms on utilitarian value and hedonic value and examine their effects on purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from 20s-60s respondents who have used SNS for restaurant visit using Google survey. A total of 159 responses were collected and used for final analysis. Smart PLS 3.0 was used for the hypothesis test. Results - As a result of an analysis, it was shown that the influence of the playfulness and affordability of information on the utilitarian value had a significant positive effect. Interaction and up-to-date did not have a positive effect on utilitarian value. Interaction, affordability, and up-to-date have no significant positive effects on hedonic value. The playfulness of information has a positive effect on the hedonic value. Both utilitarian value and hedonic value had positive effects on purchase intention. Conclusions - The findings of this study suggest that the SNS marketers of restaurant franchisors should focus on the playfulness, affordability, and up-to-date rather than the interactivity of SNS. In marketing through SNS, the act of presenting the basis of information and enhancing the provision of information through objective criteria makes it possible to experience the practical value of information. It is necessary to develop differentiated contents which cause customers interest and fun and to induce many customers' purchase intent by providing objective and realistic information. In order to increase the customers' repurchase intentions toward the food service business, customers should maximize the hedonic value and practical value felt through information. It should also focus on providing information that customers are receptive to, rather than providing prompt information.
The paper has focused on the 20 Iching-hexagrams from the eleventh t'ai[ ] to the final one of the Upper Book li[離] to examine the principles of learning and education involved in Xugua zhuan[序卦傳], the Ordinal Sequence of the Hexagrams as one among Ten Wings in I Ching. Some implications involved in this part of the Book of Change provides us with numerous teachings and educational principles. I try to concisely note the three teachings of the major argument as shown in the paper. Firstly, we should take the process of learning as the circular system of thought[環 相型], not as the linear system assuming the final destination like the Final Cause in the Aristotelian teleology. In the same token, the process of learning should be regarded as 'initiation', which has been initially adopted to justify the concept of education by R. S. Peters. As a circular system, there are two kinds of initiation. The one sense is 'crossing the threshold of illiteracy' seen as 'small initiation', which apprehends the points of argument in the previous paper, namely, on hexagrams from ch'ien[乾] to t'ai[泰]. The other sense is 'getting on the inside of the worthwhile activities', seen as 'Grand Initiation', which apprehend the present points of argument. Secondly, as shown in the paper, the Book enables us to recognize the process of learning as 'Seeing What Is There'. This requires us the Principles of Mean and Perfection, which are to be taken differently from the Western ones. For this a learner should always hold the endless self-reflection and attitude to re-examine the original intention of one's own, whilst he is involved in the task of learning. Finally, we should take the Principles of Change seriously, such as extremity-reversibility[物極必反] and the sense of conformity, in order that we can establish the proper educational principles to tackle the social domains of learning as well as the personal ones.
