직장 여성의 사회적 매력에 대한 인식과 외모 관리 행동 연구 (Career Women's Perception of Social Attractiveness and Appearance Management Behavior)

  • This study focused on working women's perceptions of social attractiveness and their appearance management behavior. Social attractiveness is defined as individuals' achieved attractiveness which can be expressed through social expressive power or social skills rather than innate physical appearance. This study was empirically conducted through questionnaires distributed to 200 working women in South Korea. According to the results, the participants recognized four factors constituting social attractiveness: physical appearance management, business manners, social skills, and sexual attractiveness. When they were asked to assess themselves on the same measures, these characteristics were further classified into six factors: business manners, feminine attractiveness, fashion sense, sociability, communication skills, and active appearance management. Their self-perceived social attractiveness was found to be influenced by all these factors in the order of feminine attractiveness, business manners, sociability, communication skills. Based on the self-presentation tendencies, the participants were classified into various groups, including the passive management group, daily life-oriented management group, work-oriented management group, neutral group, and active management group. The relative importance of the social attractiveness components was found to differ by group, although working women in all groups rated weight management higher than appearance management behavior. This study has implications in that it facilitates an understanding of the concept of social attractiveness and also provides a foundation base in terms of beauty consulting and marketing for working women to improve their social attractiveness.

학교수업에서 수학교사에 대한 인식의 잠재프로파일 분석 (A latent profile analysis of perceptions about Mathematics teachers in school lessons)

  • Based on Perceptions about Mathematics Teachers (PMT) perceived by high school students, measured by 2189 students from Seoul Educational Longitudinal Study 2014 (SELS 2014), latent profile analysis (LPA) identified five distinct types of student groups (positive, partial positive, middle, negative, extreme negative). These student of positive, middle, and negative groups are positive, moderate and negative perceptions about math teachers. Partial positive group generally had a positive perception about mathematics teachers, extremely negative group was very negative about mathematics teachers. Both of these groups had peculiarly inconsistent trends and several anomalies. The Multinomial logistic regression analyses also indicated that individual factors (gender, major, self-concept, resilience, self-assessment, career maturity), school factors (friendship, relationship with school teachers) and parental factors (academic-relationship, emotional-relationship) were significant predictors of PMT profile groups. The Analysis of variance also indicated that mathematics class (attitude, satisfaction and atmosphere), Mathematics achievement were significant predictors of PMT profile groups. The profiling of perceptions about mathematics teachers resulted in enhanced understanding of the complex range of processes students employed. During mathematics class, implementation of smooth interactions and communications between students and teachers added in the teaching and learning of mathematics.

안전문화와 효율적 안전경영 방안 연구 (A Study on the Safety Culture and Effective Management System)

  • Recently in Korean Society, risk and safety has become a central discourse in not only the social and natural science but also political decision making. The efficient organizational management contributes to controlling the risk factors in the workplace. For the management is influenced and improved by the organizational culture, the alternatives more than simply improving the work environment or enforcing the education of safety on each workers are required. This study was the status of safety culture in organizational members(managers and workers, and specialist) including the attitude on the safety atmosphere and risk perception, and experiences, knowledges, motivation etc. For this part, the method of questionnaire and statistical analysis are mobilized. The degree of safety commitment of organization members appears relatively high (3.97 in five scale estimation), but there are variations in this results according to socio-demographic characteristics. At the same time, managers and professionals actively participation in the program related to safety than workers in production/sales. The higher income level and career is the more attention to the safety is. Based on this survey, we make an rough suggestion of several tasks to the policy -makers: improvement of communication on the risk and safety is required and in particular, the workers in the relatively low level in production/sales. The education system about safety which is, with one-side, provided by government or managers turns out to be inefficient. Rather, small group performance of the organizational members which they participate in the communication with interaction in the various discourse are able to provoke the safety mood in workplace.

직장 남성의 성격유형에 따른 의복이미지 선호, 추구이미지와 이미지 만족도 (Fashion Image Preference, Pursued Image and Self-Image Satisfaction of Businessmen According to Personality Types)

  • This study is aimed at finding out the self-perception and value of clothing they wear to today's businessmen who work in a fast-growing global network society and for developing a suitable image consulting program for businessmen. The purpose of this study is to categorize businessmen into personality types, and then analyzing purchase behaviors for clothing and image perception, self-image satisfaction among categorized groups. The participants of this study are 320 businessmen who are from 20's to 50's and working in Seoul. A total of 302 questionnaires were used for the survey of this study. The questionnaire is composed of 3 different parts as follows: 1) personality types, 2) purchase behaviors for clothing and image perception, 3) self-image satisfaction. The methods of this study are frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, factor analysis, variance analysis, cluster analysis, t-test and reliability analysis. In conclusion, an image consulting education program for businessmen has to be based on one's own personality type, current fashion style and image perception. Each person has to be provided a unique direction to increase his self satisfaction, which will result in improvements in both personal image satisfaction and social satisfaction. These changes will ultimately become the driving force of career life.

대학생의 수업인식에 관한 주관성 연구 (A Study on the Types of College Class Perception among College Students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들이 수업에 대한 인식을 유형화하여 보다 효과적인 수업방식을 도입하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 Q 방법론을 활용하였으며, Q표본은 33개의 진술문으로 구성되었고, P표본은 교양수업을 듣는 40명의 학생으로 구성되었다. 연구결과 총 4가지의 유형이 도출되었으며 유형 1은 수업을 통하여 성장하려고 하는 욕구가 강한 '내실 있는 수업을 중요하게 생각하는 유형', 유형 2는 수업을 듣는 과정이 일을 할 때 실질적인 도움이 되기를 기대하는 '실무능력 향상을 중요하게 생각하는 유형', 유형 3은 수강인원수나 교수와의 소통, 실질적인 환경 등에 중점을 두는 '교육환경을 중요하게 생각하는 유형', 유형 4는 스스로 듣고 싶은 수업을 통하여 다양한 지적 역량을 향상시키고자 하는 '개인적인 역량 향상을 중요하게 생각하는 유형' 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과가 대학 수업의 질을 향상하고 다양한 대학생의 수업 요구를 충족할 수 있도록 돕는 기초자료가 되기를 바란다.

전북지역 학교급식소의 가공식품 구매 실태 및 학교 급식 영양사의 영양 표시에 대한 인식 연구 (A Study on the Purchase Patterns of Processed Foods and Perception of School Dietitians on Nutrition Labelling in Chonbuk Area of Korea)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the purchase patterns of processed foods and perception of school dietitians on nutrition labelling in Chonbuk area of Korea. Self-administered questionnaires were collected from a total 156 dietitians. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SPSS v. 11.5 program. The results were summarized as follows. Among the 156 school foodservice systems, 64.7% of schools were operated in conventional system and 35.3% were in commissary system. Among the processed foods, seasoning foods(98.4%) and cereal products(93.3%) were used widely in school foodservice. Among the general characteristics of schools and dietitians, the style(p<0.01), and type of foodservice(p<0.05), career, and age of dietitians respectively affected the purchasing pattern of the processed foods. Approximately 30% of dietitians responded that some fortified foods used for the meal preparation(eg. Ca-fortified yoghurt). Only 57% of dietitians who has more ten year job career was agreed with the important of fortified foods for the menu planning. Despite the levels of education of the dietitians became higher, were no relationship between the confidence on fortified foods and the improvement on health for children. About 96.2% of dietitians knew nutrition labelling of processed foods. Only 25.6% of dietitians checked nutrition labelling of processed food when they purchased these foods for school lunch. The main reason for their checking nutrition labelling of processed foods was for nutrient of products. The dietitians understanding and trust in nutrition labelling of processed foods were not high. But the half of dietitians responded that the nutrition labelling can be helpful for the purchase of processed foods in school foodservice systems. Therefore, it is necessary to activate the mandatory nutrition labelling of processed foods and to prepare its consumer education program for school dietitians.

치과위생사 교육과정 연구 (A Study on Curriculum of Dental Hygienists)

  • The aims of the study are as following : First, define and clarify the role and function of the dental hygienist. Second, based on thai definition, present an improved dental hygienist curriculum, improving their special competence. This study seeks to present a way for promoting role of dental hygienists as independent specialists, rather than as auxiliaries, contributing to better dental service in the process. The research was pursued by surveying by questionnaire those directly related to dental hygiene. They are 58 professors of dental hygiene, 164 dentists, 253 dental hygienists and 496 dental hygiene students, selected by the method of simple random sampling. Due to the small size of the sample, professors' group was analysed only through frequency and probabilities. For groups with larger samples(dentists, dental hygienists, dental hygiene students), methods of chi square(${\chi}^2$) tests, frequency analysis and one-way ANOVA were used in their analysis. Conclusions of the study are as following : First, role and function of the dental hygienist was defined and clarified. According to the analysis of the survey, main role of the dental hygienists as perceived by 62.9% of dentists was supporting treatments and managing patients and facility. This perception by dentists differs significantly to perception of other groups, which saw main role of dental hygienists as preventive dental treatment and dental hygiene education. Also, only 20.2% of dental hygienists perceived patients and facility management as their main role. This divergence of perception between groups weakens speciality competence of dental hygienists. To strengthen dental hygienists' speciality competence, preventive dental treatment and dental hygiene education must be defined as main role of dental hygienists. Furthermore, role of dental hygienists can be categorized into cooperative and auxiliary role. Second, in order to strengthen speciality competence of dental hygienists, their education must be augmented with curriculum emphasizing cooperative role. Specifically, courses on preventive dental treatment, dental hygiene education and dental X-ray photography must become compulsory, as well as becoming more comprehensive and organized. Also, training in schools and hospitals must be focused on those subjects. In addition, courses concerning auxiliary role must be incorporated into optional courses and more pedagogical courses are needed to widen students' career choices. Third, practical relevance of national dental hygienist certification examination must be heightened. In the survey, all groups gave negative response to questions concerning practical relevance of national dental hygienist certification test. Specifically, contents of the tests must be changed to test participants' competence in the cooperative area. Also, the test itself must be strengthened by adding practical examination to the certification scheme, as well as having more difficult examinations.

에코세대의 전직지원서비스 운영을 위한 요구분석 (Need Assessment for the Operation of Outplacement Support Service for Echo Generation)

  • 본 연구는 동남권지역의 에코세대 중 취업자 및 미취업자를 대상으로 현재 전직지원서비스에 대한 인식, 필요성, 전직지원서비스를 제공받을 의향 여부 및 필요한 내용들을 확인함으로써 초고령화 사회를 대비하여 준비할 수 있도록 정책적, 행정적 지원 요구를 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 것이다. 이 연구를 달성하기 위해 부산 울산 경남의 동남권 지역의 에코세대 중 취업자 및 미취업자 174명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였고, 회수된 설문은 정규성검사 및 t-test, 일원배치분산분석(One-way ANOVA), Scheffe 분석 등의 방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 얻어진 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 에코세대의 전직지원서비스에 대한 인식 정도는 성별 간, 연령 간, 직종간, 경력 간에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 필요의 정도는 연령 간에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 전직지원서비스 제공 시기에 대해서는 퇴사 전 3개월이 가장 적당한 것으로 나타났다. 전직지원서비스가 제공된다면 참여할 의향은 연령에서만 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 전직지원서비스를 받는다면 제공받고 싶은 서비스 내용은 노후대비 재무설계, 퇴직(연금)관리 내용을 제공 받고 싶다는 응답자가 가장 많았다.

선원들의 스트레스 인지와 그 대처방법에 관한 기초 연구 (A Preliminary Study on the Stress Perception and Ways to Cope with Stress for Seafarers)

  • 본 연구는 선원들이 가지고 있는 스트레스 인지정도와 대처방법을 분석하여 선원들을 위한 스트레스 관리 방안을 마련하는데 기초자료가 되고자 시행한 횡단적 조사연구이다. 연구의 대상은 한국해양수산연수원에서 2003년 10월 20일부터 11월 15일까지 안전교육을 수강하는 선원 428명이었으며 설문지에 의한 방법으로 수집하였다. 연구에 사용된 도구는 스트레스 인지와 대처방법을 측정하는 도구이며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 10.1 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 서술 통계, t-test, ANOVA로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 일반적 특성간의 스트레스 인지정도의 차이를 살펴본 결과. 항해 구역, 결혼 상대, 흡연량, 음주 횟수, 운동 횟수, 수면 양상, 수면 시간, 여가 시간, 직업 만족도 특성에서 스트레스 인지정도의 유의한 차이가 있었다. 2) 일반적 특성에 따른 스트레스 대처방법의 차이를 확인한 결과, 집단간 유의한 차이가 있는 특성으로는 현재 신분, 항해 구역, 연령, 승선 경력, 학력, 결혼 상태, 연 수입, 음주 횟수, 음주량, 운동 횟수, 수면 양상, 직업 만족도로 나타났다. 3) 스트레스 인지정도와 대처방법간의 차이를 알아본 결과, 스트레스 점수가 높은 집단이 정서 중심의 대처와 소망적 사고를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다.

공공도서관 사서의 평생교육업무에 대한 인식 연구 - 인천지역을 중심으로 - (An Analysis on the Perception of Public Librarians about Lifelong Education Tasks: Focus on Incheon Metropolitan City)

  • 본 연구는 공공도서관 사서들이 어려움을 느끼고 있는 평생교육 단위직무를 파악하고 동시에 재교육이 필요한 교육 내용에 대한 우선 순위를 맨휘트니(Mann Whitney U-test), 다중회귀분석(Multiple regression analysis)과 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) 분석을 통해 제시하였다. 첫번째, 조사 대상 사서의 87%가 평생교육 직무는 보통이거나 어렵다고 인식하고 있었으며, 단위 업무별로는 운영계획수립을 가장 어려운 직무로 생각하고 있었다. 두번째, 평생교육사 자격이 있는 사서가 없는 경우에 비해 업무를 수월하게 인식하고 있었으며(P=0.04), 단위업무별로는 강사섭외(P=0.04), 운영계획수립(P=0.05)에 있어 유의한 차이가 검증되었다. 또한 평생교육관련 경력이 길수록 업무를 수월하게 (R=-0.217) 느끼는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히, 일정편성(R=-0.33), 진행업무(R=-0.22)에 있어, 통계적으로 유의한 상관성을 보였다. 세번째, 다중회귀분석 결과, 공공도서관 사서들이 평생교육업무 전반에 대하여 느끼는 체감 난이도에 유의한 영향을 주는 단위 직무는 운영계획수립(P=0.04)과 홍보(P=0.05) 업무인 것으로 나타났으며, 그중 운영계획수립(${\beta}=0.233$)이 체감 난이도 형성에 가장 많은 영향을 주는 요인인 것으로 판명되었다. 한편, 91%의 사서가 평생교육 직무 관련 재교육이 필요하다고 느끼고 있으며, 스피어만(Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient) 분석 결과(R=-0.210), 평생교육 업무에 대한 체감 난이도가 높은 사서일수록 재교육 필요성을 더욱 많이 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. AHP 분석 결과 평생교육 직무 관련 재교육 내용은 이용자와의 소통(CU P=0.310), 기획(PL P=0.246), 마케팅(LM P=0.173) 순의 가중치를 보였으며, 도출된 CR(Consistency Ratio) 비율은 0.146으로 계산돼, 응답에 대한 일관성은 허용할 수 있는 수준인 것으로 나타났다.
