치과위생사의 이직관련 요인 (Relative factors intent to leave for dental hygienists)

  • Objectives : This study was to find out the status of job satisfaction and intent to leave the job for dental hygienists, and those factors affecting their intent to leave, so as to prevent dental hygienists from leaving their jobs in advance, and to strive for extending the life span of the job, contributing to improve dental care services provided by dental hygienists. Methods : The data were collected from 280 dental hygienists working in dental clinics or hospitals in Busan and Gyeongnam area by using a structured and self-administered questionnaire through mail, from February 1 to March 15, 2009, and were analyzed by using SPSS WIN 14.0 program. Results : First, It was the most prevalent for the dental hygienists surveyed to be between 100 to 149 thousand won in the level of monthly as 42.3%, and to be the assistance of dental examination and treatment for main duty as 62.5%. Leaving job was experience by 51.6% of the subjects, with work condition as the most common reason for 32.2%. Second, the degree of job satisfaction was 3.4 points overall in the score of 5 point Likert's scale on the average, showing affirmative level above the average, and significantly different according to certain characteristics such as age, education level, total years of work career, years of work career in the current job, monthly salary level, whether to provide monthly paid leave, and the number of patients treated per day. It also was significantly correlated with some structural factors and variables consisting attitude and value, including equity in pay(r=0.612), job perception as dental hygienist(r=0.573), work environment(r=0.552), self growth(r=0.531), affirmative attitude(r=0.421), and so on. Third, the mean score of intent to leave was 2.73 overall and lower than the average, showing significant relationship with some characteristics, such as age, marital status, education level, total years of work career, years of work career in the current job, monthly salary level, whether to provide monthly paid leave, and the number of patients treated per day. Intent to leave also showed the highest correlation with job satisfaction(r=-0.708), followed by equity in pay(r=-0.482), self growth (r=-0.453), job perception as dental hygienist(r=-0.392), work environment(r=-0.362), etc. Forth, job satisfaction was significantly influenced by some factors including equity in pay, followed by job perception as dental hygienist, relationship with fellow colleagues, affirmative attitude and work environment, and so on. Fifth, the intent to leave was significantly affected not only by job satisfaction but also by some structural factors including equity in pay, self growth and job perception as dental hygienist. Conclusions : The above results showed that the equity in pay was the most important factor for the intent to leave the job as well as job satisfaction among dental hygienists, thus suggesting that systematic measures should be provided to improve the job satisfaction to prevent economic loss due to leaving job frequently, and to provide pertinent reward system as a profession to enhance the motivation for accomplishment on job for dental hygienists.

여성 가구주의 사회위험 인식과 사회적 자본 (Social Risk Perception and Social Capital among Female-Headed Households)

  • 본 연구는 한국 여성 가구주의 사회위험 인식수준과 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 2020년 「사회조사」 데이터를 활용한 분석결과 응답자의 사회적 자본, 인구 사회학적 특징, 경제적 변수가 사회 위험 인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 제 변수들을 통제한 후에도 여성 가구주의 사회 위험 인식은 남성 가구주의 사회 위험 인식보다 컸다. 여성 가구주의 경우 준법정신 및 위험대처능력과 같은 사회적 자본과 연령, 거주지역, 건강상태와 같은 인구 사회학적 요인과 소득수준, 주택 유형과 같은 경제학적 요인이 사회적 위험 인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가족 자원으로서의 사회적 자본의 역할과 기능에 대하여 논의하여, 가정, 지역사회 간의 협력적 관계 속에서 얻어질 수 있는 사회적 자본의 축적 방안들을 고안해보고자 한다.

청년층의 자기인지건강 관련 요인 (Factor's Related to Self-Perceived Health of Young Adults)

  • Objectives : To determine which factors are related to young adults perception of their health. Two research questions were asked. Which aspects of health does self-perceived health as a index of general health reflect? Why do two individuals with the same level of general health have different health perceptions? Methods : The sampling frame comprised college or graduate school students, aged 20 to 29, who were members of A, one of the 4 biggest internet communication services. The questionnaires were sent to study samples(n=1,000) and answered by E-mail. Response rate was 37.0%. Results : Firstly, physical health ranked highest and self-perceived health ranked lowest. Secondly, health, anxiety, depression, and self-perceived health showed significant differences between the sexes, with women showing a higher health status in these categories except for self-perceived health. Thirdly, the two factors significantly related to self-perceived health were physical health and self-esteem, as determined by multivariate analysis, Conclusions : The factors significantly related to self-perceived health were physical health and self-esteem. Further studies of the health characteristics of young adults are needed.

요양병원 간호사의 표준주의지침 수행도에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Affecting the Compliance of Standard Precautions in Long Term care Hospital nurses)

  • 본 연구는 요양병원에서 근무하는 간호사를 대상으로 표준주의지침 수행도에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하기 위해 실시되었다. 분석결과 표준주의지침 인식 8.50, 건강신념 3.76점(하위영역- 지각된 민감성 4.03점, 지각된 심각성 4.04점, 지각된 유익성 3.91점, 지각된 장애성 3.54점, 행동계기 2.92점), 표준주의지침 수행도 37.90점이었다. 표준주의지침 수행도는 표준주의지침 인식(r=0.419, p<.001), 건강신념(r=0.443, p<.001), 건강신념 하위영역인 지각된 민감성(r=0.169, p=.044), 지각된 유익성(r=0.207, p=.013), 지각된 장애성(r=0.486, p<.001), 행동계기(r=0.204, p=.014)와 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 표준주의지침 수행도에 미치는 영향요인은 지각된 장애성(β=0.373, p<.001), 행동계기(β=0.271, p<.001), 표준주의지침 인식(β=0.245, p=.004) 이었고 설명력은 32.5%이었다.

한국-우즈베키스탄 친선 한방병원 내원환자의 비만 설문 조사 (A survey on obesity conducted in the Korea-Uzbekistan friendship hospital of Korean medicine)

  • Objectives: This study was designed to confirm the ethnic and socioeconomic differences in the obesity of Uzbekistan. Methods: From 139 patients, visited Korean-Uzbekistan friendship hospital of Korean Medicine, gathered the information of the sex, height, weight, ethnic group, economic status, education level, self-desired weight, self-perception of weight status and experiences of weight reduction. Also patients completed the 10 questions about the association between obesity and disease. Results: Koreans in Uzbekistan showed a significant lower value of body mass index (BMI) and a significant higher understanding between obesity and disease than other ethics. Socioeconomic differences in the obesity were not confirmed. People of Uzbekistan showed a little experience of weight reduction. Conclusions: Koreans in Uzbekistan have a different prevalence and perception of the obesity with other ethnics. Researches about the relationship between obesity and metabolic factors, and prevention programs for obesity and metabolic syndrome are needed for the public health of Uzbekistan.

여대생의 섭식장애와 신체증상, 기분상태간의 상관관계 (Relationship between Eating Disorder, Physical Symptoms and Mood Status among College Women)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the eating disorder, physical symptoms and mood status among college women. Data has been analyzed by SPSS/PC using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The mean of body weight and height of the subjects were 52.74kg, 163.10cm. 2. Depending upon BMI, the obesity subjects were very rare(2.2%) and the rest(97.8%) were underweight or normal. 3. The total mean score of anorexia nervosa was higher than bulimia nervosa. 4. The total mean score of perceived physical symptoms was 20.68 and subjects in this study showed the tendency giving the highest core on the item of autonomic nerve system and mensural status. 5. The total mean score of mood status was 58.49. 6. The scores of eating behavior differed significantly by the BMI : The score was highest in the group of normal body weighted(t=5.75, p<.05). 7. The scores of physical symptoms differed significantly by the BMI : The score was highest in the group of the underweight(t=7.35, p<.01). 8. No significant difference was found on over all mood status scores according to the BMI. 9. There was high positive correlation between BMI and eating disorder(r=.1633, p<.01), between eating disorder and physical symptoms(r=.2497, p<.0001), between eating disorder and mood status(r=.2328, p<.0001), and between symptoms and mood status(r=.5051, p<.0001). From the results of this study, the eating disorder among college woman was very serious and the perception of their body weight was distorted. Therefore, to prevent the eating disorder, professional intervention is needed.

간호대학생의 미세먼지에 대한 위험인식, 지식, 위험태도, 건강관리행위 간의 관계 (The Relationship Between Risk Perception, Knowledge, Risk Attitude, and Health promoting Behavior for Fine Dust in Nursing College Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 미세먼지에 대한 위험인식, 지식, 위험태도, 건강관리행위 간의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료 수집은 D광역시, C도 소재 4년제 간호대학생 168명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 independent t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 미세먼지에 대한 지식은 호흡기질환 유무(t=1.92, p<.001)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 미세먼지에 대한 위험태도는 호흡기질환 유무(t=2.05, p=.042), 주관적 건강상태(F=3.79, p=.012)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 미세먼지에 대한 위험인식과 지식(r=.340, p<.001), 위험태도(r=.492, p<.001), 건강관리행위(r=.354, p<.001)는 모두 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었으며, 미세먼지에 대한 지식과 위험태도(r=.401, p<.001), 건강관리행위(r=.296, p<.001), 미세먼지에 대한 위험태도와 건강관리행위(r=.550, p<.001)도 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 미세먼지에 대한 위험인식과 지식을 높이고, 건강관리행위를 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

신규 간호사가 인식하는 좋은 간호사 이미지: Q-방법론 접근 (A Positive Image of Nurses as Perceived by New Nurses: Applying Q-Methodology)

  • Purpose: This study verified the characteristics and types of perceptions and attitudes toward a positive image of nurses, as perceived by new nurses, by applying Q-methodology. Methods: Participants were 37 new nurses serving at tertiary hospitals accommodating over 300 beds. Data were collected from April 1~30, 2021. Results: A positive image of nurses was categorized into four types: professional leadership, skilled empathy, experienced responsiveness, and cooperative sincerity. It is believed that this study will help establish a professional view of nurses by verifying the positive image of new nurses, who are likely to lead the future. Conclusion: Furthermore, by reducing the turnover of new nurses and increasing their job satisfaction, it would be possible to secure professional nursing personnel and the public's perception of good nurses, thereby contributing to the enhanced social status of nurses.

보행환경 만족과 안전인식이 주관적 건강인식에 미치는 영향 - 사회적 자본의 매개효과에 대한 집단비교를 중심으로 - (The Effect of Satisfaction and Safety Recognition of the Pedestrian Environment on the Subjective Health Status: Focused on gender difference of the intermediating effect of social capital)

  • 최근 도시정책에서는 '건강'에 대한 중요성이 크게 증가하고 있다. 우리나라에서는 급격한 도시화로 인해 발생한 환경문제로 인한 신체적 건강의 악화와 경쟁위주의 사회에서 발생하는 사회적 관계 단절로 인한 정신적 건강의 악화가 끊임없이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해 공중보건분야와 도시정책 분야를 융합하여 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 서울시를 대상으로 2018년 서울서베이를 이용하여 보행환경의 만족과 보행환경 안전에 대한 인식이 사회적 자본을 매개하여 주관적 건강인식에 미치는 영향을 남성과 여성 그룹으로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구방법으로는 구조방정식 다중집단분석을 활용하였다. 연구결과, 남성그룹에서는 보행환경만족도, 보행환경 안전인식이 사회적 자본에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었고 보행환경 만족과 사회적 자본이 주관적 건강인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 여성 그룹에서는 보행환경 만족도는 사회적 자본에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았으며 보행환경 안전 인식만 유의미한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 보행환경 만족, 보행환경 안전인식, 사회적 자본이 모두 주관적 건강인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되어 건강한 도시 정책의 수립을 위해서는 보건, 의학 분야와 도시 계획 및 정책 분야의 융합연구의 필요성과 그룹별 차별적인 정책이 필요함을 시사한다.

국민건강증진기금 운영과 개선방향에 대한 전문가의 인식 (Experts View and Recommendation for Management and Operation of National Health Promotion Fund)

  • Objectives: This study was to examine the experts perception on the operation of the national health promotion fund and related policies, and to obtain the perspective on the improving governance of the fund. Methods: Experts opinion survey was recruited 120 experts who were public health officials, and members of board in academic societies related to health promotion and health policy, and 60 experts participated in the survey. Results: Most health care experts agreed that the current allocation of health promotion fund was not optimal with its lack of allocation on promoting healthy lifestyle and R&D for health promotion, while the majority of the fund was being spent on supporting national health insurance. Thus, establishing governance system and control tower for the fund was viewed as critical. Also the status of deliberation committee should be raised to higher position where it can hold practical authority to plan and evaluate fund spending. Conclusions: The priority of health promotion fund spending should be more on improving health such as modifying life-style and spreading healthy habits, rather than on disease management or subsidizing health insurance. It is recommended that change from to environment in health promotion policy regime is required to establish effective governance system for the fund operation.
