  • This research investigated how people are influenced to adopt online review. We applied the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to this study. Our research model highlights the assessment of online review usefulness as a mediator from online review quality to online review adoption. This research predicted online review consensus has a role to bulid up online reviw usefulness. This study also includes vividness and perceived similarity as determinants of online review quality. Survey data reflect user's perceptions of actual online review they read. Results support most of research hypotheses except hypothesis related to moderating effect of user involvement. This research offers a model for understanding online review user's acceptance. Additional theoretical and practical implications are also discussed in the paper.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the economic value of installing public Energy storage system (ESS) facilities using a logit regression analysis and Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). We focused mainly on the environmental benefits of ESS and analyzed how the users' attitude toward environmental protection and knowledge of renewable energy affect their Willingness to pay (WTP) Methods: A single-bounded dichotomous choice (SBDC) survey was used to collect the data. We asked participants whether they are willing to pay a randomly presented cost (KRW 100, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 5000, 10000) along with their attitude to toward environmental protection, knowledge of renewable energy, and perceived cost of electric bill. 417 valid samples were collected and used for the analysis. Results: The results of the logit regression show that the initial bid, attitude toward environmental protection, knowledge of renewable energy, and perceived cost of electric bill significantly affect the user's WTP of public ESS facilities. The CVM results show that users are willing to pay KRW 5,049.1/month to install ESS facilities. Conclusion: : According to results, we conclude that the users agree with the need to install ESSs and that environmental benefits of ESSs are important factors for ESS adoption. Therefore, policy makers need to emphasize environmental aspects to install the ESS facilities.

A research model and hypotheses are formulated using variables including Experience Quality (EQ), Perceived Value (PV), Attitude toward AWA (ATAWA) and Behavioral Intention toward AWA (BITAWA). Although AWA has strong the Instagrammable features in terms of PV, it provides aesthetic or healing experience rather than a pleasure. PV has a significant correlation with DOS and DOI, but it does not influence on BITAWA. In addition, DOS has a positive impact on the increase in DOI, length of viewing time and intention to upload and share photos on Instagram.

  • Various corporates have launched products and brands to meet the diverse needs of consumers. However, an excess of information and products could be collapsed into a choice paradox far from the intention. As an alternative to these problems, curation-based services have recently been in the limelight and can be adopted into e-commerce sites. As one of the earlier studies on the considerable factors of curation services, this study focuses on the online fashion recommendation system in which design quality, interactivity, and perceived usefulness will affect trust, satisfaction, and continued intention to use. In the result, the design quality factor shows a positive effect on satisfaction, but not on the trust. Also, interactivity doesn't demonstrate a significant positive effect on both the satisfaction and the trust factors far from the previous ones but the perceived usefulness had a positive effect on those. In addition, the personalization does not affect a significant effect on the satisfaction factor but on the trust factor. Subsequently, the trust affects the satisfaction, and the satisfaction on the continued intention to use factor, but trust does not significantly affect the continued intention to use directly.

The support program provided reference menus, staff training, and field consulting to 10 community child centers in the Jeollanam-do province for one month, August in 2010. One month menus were developed, based on children's preference for menu items, foodservice personnel's preference for food materials, and availability of local specialty foods, and offered as reference menus. In addition, staff training and field consulting focusing on menu management were conducted before and during the pilot period, respectively. To evaluate the support program, menus, foodservice personnel's knowledge level and perceived performance in foodservice management, and children's level of satisfaction for foodservice were analyzed before and after the support program. As a result of analysis of 222 and 210 menus of before and after the support program, respectively, the number of dishes per meal increased from five to six on average, and the proportion of meals including five food groups, which were grain, meat, vegetable, fruit, and milk and dairy product, rose from 2% to 24%. Foodservice personnel's knowledge level regarding foodservice management increased significantly (p = 0.007), however, their perceived performance in foodservice management did not show any significant changes. Children were more satisfied with 'food' (p = 0.001), 'sanitation' (p = 0.001), and 'environment' (p < 0.008) of foodservice in community child centers after the support program. In conclusion, the foodservice management support program focusing on menu management in this study was effective for improving menu quality of and children's satisfaction with foodservice in community child centers.

  • Due to globalization, the air transport industry plays a key role in the global economy. In particular, the air transport industry is highly dependent on human resources, and the capabilities of the cabin crews in managing safety and providing service in a cabin depend on the service quality and the success of the company's human resource management. Therefore, systematic support and interest in competitive key personnel are believed as very important factors. Airlines need to improve the work engagement of airline cabin crew through organizational supportive efforts. Thus this paper surveyed 309 cabin crews who worked at low cost carrier and conducted an empirical analysis based on survey results. The study validates hypotheses pertaining the relationship between organizational identification and job commitment of cabin crew according to the airline's perception of organizational support. The comprehensive analysis reveals that perceived organization support has a significantly positive impact on cabin crews' work engagement.

It reviewed the literature on theory of social acceptance-diffusion and technology adoption model of innovative products, set up structural equation model that includes the causes and effects of perceived usefulness(the nexus among influences, perceived usefulness and purchase intention) and empirically tested the relationship. The survey, covering 534 non-users, was conducted from August 1, 2016 through August 12, 2016. The results show that compatibility and relative advantage significantly positively affect adoption intention through perceived usefulness, and that communication significantly negatively affect. However, complexity and service quality do not have significant positive effects on perceived intention and purchase intention. Some implications to promote social acceptance of smart mobility based on the results of the study are offered.

  • Recently, many interests in the economic contribution of performing arts for the city's tourist attractions have been increasing, and the policy projects supporting surtitle for foreign tourists are expanding. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the acceptance process of subtitle systems using the TAM(Technical Acceptance Model) to understand the influential relations of factors affecting the viewing of the performance of subtitling service by foreign tourists. Data for empirical analysis were collected in a survey of foreign tourists who had experienced performance subtitles with smart pads in three languages. The results of this study are as follows. First, the higher the information system quality of the performance subtitles, the higher the perceived usefulness of the subtitles. Second, for Korean performances, the decreasing level of both the performance-based risk and the psychological risk has a positive influence on the viewing intent. But, the decreasing level of the financial risk has a negative influence on the viewing intent. Third, the decreasing level of performance risk has a positive influence on the perceived usefulness, while the decreasing level of psychological risk has a negative influence on the perceived usefulness. Finally, the psychological risk has the moderating effect of the viewing intention, which it has a negative influence on the perceived usefulness.
