운전자의 인체치수변화에 따른 지게차 페달 위치에 관한 연구 (A study on the pedal placement of forklift according to the various body dimensions)

  • This paper is a study on the pedal placement and driving position of forklift according to the various body dimensions. Comfortable driving position were measured angles of joint(ankle, knee, hip) by Goniometer. From SIP(seat index point) to basis of pedals were measured about X and Y axises. In addition, Z axises were gauged between floor and pedals. In this paper, The 27 male subjects with no experience in driving forklift were measured in the test in order to exclusion of learning effect. Therefore the subjects have a preference for pedal location to the body dimensions, if as long as their body dimensions was very long, they would required each pedal's location of Y axis to increase. However, driving position is no influence. The pedal location of X and Z axises weren't related with various body dimensions and subjects have symmetrical location to the pedals of inching and break and hight of brake pedal is lower than the others. They hope that brake pedal is lower than others.

  • Let K be a convex body of constant relative breadth and let $K^*$ be its polar dual with respect to the Euclidean unit circle. In this paper we obtain the lower bound for the volume of the pedal body $PK^*P $K^{*}$ of K^*.$ Using this, we also obtain the lower bound for the volume product V$(PK^*)$V(PK) for planar bodies.s.

다양한 인체치수에 따른 산업차량의 핸들과 폐달 위치에 관한 연구 (A Study about Steering Wheel and Pedal Position of Industrial Vehicle by the Various Body Dimensions)

  • This study determined the optimal positions of the movable steering wheel and pedal systems of industrial vehicle by various body dimensions. The position of objects and starting driving posture were measured by Martin-type anthropometer and goniometer. The X, Y and Z axis of movable steering wheel and pedal systems were measured horizon distance from right side to left side, horizon distance from front side to rear side and vertical distance from floor to ceiling. During the experiment in order to exclude learning effectiveness with forklift driving, 27 subjects who had male not experiences in driving a forklift used in the experiment. The relationship between the position of steering wheel and driver's posture with body dimensions was analyzed by using correlation relation and paired comparison t-test based on the measured data. The pedal location in X and Z axises was not related with various body dimensions. Also, the steering wheel was different among the angles of the right elbow and shoulder depending on the various body dimensions.

페달 종류 및 위치에 따른 최적 페달 레이아웃 설정 (Optimal Layout of Vehicle Pedals Depending on the Types and Positions of Vehicle Pedals)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an optimal layout for the accelerator and brake pedals in sedan and SUV, and also to compare the pendant-type pedal with organ-type pedal. 12 male subjects participated in the experiment, the subjects were divided into 3 groups according to height percentile(under 50%ile, 50%ile to 75%ile, over 75%ile). Independent variables were seat height (H30), X and Y coordinates of the center of accelerator and brake pedals and the x and y relative distance between two pedals. Dependent variable was subjective ratings for lower body discomfort. The response surface methodology using a central composite design was employed to develop a prediction model for lower body discomfort of each pedal. It is noticeable that the lateral position of the accelerator in all groups was not statistically significant. The optimal locations of both pedals were found to be distinct according to the percentile of subjects. X distance from accelerator to brake of both-type pedals is similar. But Y distance from accelerator to brake of organ-type is less about 2-3cm than that of pedant-type.

착좌시 하지 동작의 생체역학적 모델 (A biomechanical model of lower extremity for seated operators)

  • A two-dimensional static biochemical model of lower extremity in the seated posture was developed to assess muscular activities of lower extremity required for a variety of foot pedal operations. We found that the double linear optimization method that has been used for modelling articulated body segments does no predict the forces generated by biarticular muscles reasonably, so the revised double linear optimization scheme was used to consider the synergistic effects of biarticular muscles in our model, assuming that the muscle forces are distributed proportionally based on their physiological cross sectional area. The model incorporated three rigid body se- gments with six muscles to represnet lower extremity. For the model validation, three male subjects performed the experiments in which EMG activities of six lower extremity muscles were measured. Predicted muscle forces were compare with the corresponding EMG amplitudes and it showed no statistical difference. The model being developed can be used to design and assess pedal and foot-related tool design.

비선형 최적화기법을 이용한 하지근력 예측 인체공학 모형 (A nonlinear optimization model of lower extremity movement in seated foot operation)

  • A biomechanical model of lower extremity in seated postures was developed to assess muscular activities of lower extremity involved in a variety of foot pedal operations. The model incorporated four rigid body segments with the twenty-four muscles to represent lower extremity. This study deals with quasi-static movement to investigate dymanic movement effect in seated foot operation. It is found that optimization method which has been used for modeling the articulated body segments does not predict the forces generated from biarticular muscles and antagonistic muscles reasonably. So, the revised nonlinear optimization scheme was employed to consider the synergistic effects of biarticular muscles and the antagonistic muscle effects from the stabilization of the joint. For the model validation, three male subjects performen the experiments in which EMG activities of the nine lower extremity muscles were measured. Predicted muscle forces were compared with the corresponding EMG amplitudes and it showed no statistical difference. For the selection of optimal seated posture, a physiological meaningful criterion for muscular load sharing developed.

운전석 위치에 따른 운전자의 지각 불편도 평가

  • 오늘날 자동차는 자동차 자체에 대한 기능적 측면뿐만 아니라 운전자 및 탑승자에게 적절한 거주 공간을 제공하여야 한다는 인간공학적 측면을 동시에 만족시켜야 한다. 특히 부적절한 거주 공간에서 비롯된 좋지 않은 운전 자세는 운전시 신체 각 부위에 과다한 피로를 유발시키고 운전 성능에도 영향 을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 안전 측면에서도 매우 중요하다. 거주 공간의 설계시 출발점이 되는 것은 SgRP(Seating Reference Point)이며 이의 설정은 운전 자세에 직접적인 영향을 미치므로 운전자의 불편도 (Discomfort)를 최소로 하며 운전성능을 높일 수 있도록 설정되어야한다. 본 연구에서는 Driving Simulator 를 이용하여 운전자가 취할 수 있는 Seat의 전후, 상하 위치에 따른 여러 운전 자세에서 운전자가 느끼는 불편도 및 각종 Control의 조작성등의 주관적인 Measure와 운전시의 운전성능을 나타내는 객관적 Measure를 측정, 평가하였다. Seat의 위치는 Whole Body Discomfort, Steering Wheel, Gear, Pedal의 조작성 등의 주관적 종속 변수에는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 객관적 종속변수에는 유의한 영향이 나타 나지 않았다. 실험 결과를 바탕으로 Regression식을 도출하였으며 이를 바탕으로 Isocomfort Surface를 제시 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 한국인에 적합한 SgRP 및 Seat Track 설정의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대 된다.

  • 자동차에서 디스크 편차 변이(Disk Thickness Variation : DTV)가 차체 진동 혹은 브레이크 페달 떨림 발생의 근원이 되므로 이를 운전자 보호차원에서 또는 생산 초기 출하시점에서 이를 검사할 수 있는 측정기기의 개발에 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 DTV정보와 Labview 언어를 이용한 휴대용 Brake Judder측정 시스템을 개발하였다.
