배전계통 최적 재구성 문제에 PC 클러스터 시스템을 이용한 병렬 유전 알고리즘-타부 탐색법 구현 (Parallel Genetic Algorithm-Tabu Search Using PC Cluster System for Optimal Reconfiguration of Distribution Systems)

  • This paper presents an application of parallel Genetic Algorithm-Tabu Search(GA-TS) algorithm to search an optimal solution of a reconfiguration in distribution system. The aim of the reconfiguration of distribution systems is to determine switch position to be opened for loss minimization in the radial distribution systems, which is a discrete optimization problem. This problem has many constraints and very difficult to solve the optimal switch position because it has many local minima. This paper develops parallel GA-TS algorithm for reconfiguration of distribution systems. In parallel GA-TS, GA operators are executed for each processor. To prevent solution of low fitness from appearing in the next generation, strings below the average fitness are saved in the tabu list. If best fitness of the GA is not changed for several generations, TS operators are executed for the upper 10% of the population to enhance the local searching capabilities. With migration operation, best string of each node is transferred to the neighboring node aster predetermined iterations are executed. For parallel computing, we developed a PC-cluster system consisting of 8 PCs. Each PC employs the 2 GHz Pentium Ⅳ CPU and is connected with others through ethernet switch based fast ethernet. To show the usefulness of the proposed method, developed algorithm has been tested and compared on a distribution systems in the reference paper. From the simulation results, we can find that the proposed algorithm is efficient and robust for the reconfiguration of distribution system in terms of the solution qualify. speedup. efficiency and computation time.

  • 결정질 실리콘 웨이퍼의 도핑농도와 도핑깊이, 비저항은 태양전지의 효율을 결정하는데 매우 중요한 요소이다. 높은 효율을 갖는 태양전지의 설계를 위해 PC1D를 이용해 태양전지의 에미터 도핑농도와 깊이, 베이스 비저항을 조절하였다. 최적화 결과 emitter peak doping $1\times10^{19}cm^{-3}$와 depth factor $1{\mu}m$, base $\rho$ $ 0.1\Omega$-cm, 즉 sheet resistance $69.15\Omega$/square와 $X_j$ $1.603{\mu}m$일 때 $I_{sc}$ = 5.478(A), $V_{oc}$ = 0.7013(V), $P_{max}$ = 2.828(W), FF = 73.61(%), Efficiency = 19.03(%)의 고효율을 얻을 수 있다.

  • 국민들의 삶의 수준이 올라감에 따라 자연 친화적인 수공간 조성을 갈망 하게 되고, 이른바 녹색기술(Green Technology)이 각광을 받고 있다. 이러한 녹색공간에 문화적 콘텐츠를 도입하여 물, 음악, 자연을 정서적 언어표현의 도구로 활용한다. 현재 수경관은 시나리오 제작자에 의해 단독으로 만들어져 피동적인 연출만 하는 추세이다. 하지만 비용적인 면과 연출의 한계성에 국한되어, 기존 및 신설되는 수경 사업에 인터넷 기반 및 PC기반의 통합 제어 시스템에 대한 관심과 수요가 급격히 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 분수대 제어 시스템에 관한 것으로 기존의 programmable logic controller (PLC)나 산업용 PC에 국한되어 운영하던 제어방식을 PC방식의 그래픽 화면으로 각종 분수(음악분수, 바닥분수, 생태연목 등)를 통합적으로 운영 관리, 제어할 수 있도록 개선된 지능형 녹색통합제어시스템 개발을 하였다. 또한 자동 기상 감시 시스템을 구축하여서 주로 실외에 설치가 되는 녹색경관시스템을 시변적인 실외 상황에 대해서 예측 제어 할 수 있도록 설계하였다.

  • 본 연구에서 개발한 IStorage는 무선 네트워크를 지원하는 안드로이드 폰을 이용하여 언제 어디서 든 WebDAV서버의 자원(PC의 자원)을 사용할 수 있는 기술이다. IStorage는 WebDAV 프로토콜을 이용하여 WebDAV서버의 자원을 사용한다. 그리고 사용자는 GUI 인터페이스를 이용하여 서버에 자원을 등록하고, 그 자원을 열람, 검색, 삭제, 업로드, 다운로드 등의 작업을 할 수 있다. 마치 서버의 자원을 자신의 모바일 장치의 자원처럼 사용하기 때문에, 실시간으로 문서 보기, 음악 감상, 영화 감상 등의 작업을 할 수 있는 것이다. 본 연구는 모바일 기기의 저장 공간 한계를 극복하는 하나의 해결책이 될 수 있으며, 현재 사용자가 급격하게 늘고 있는 스마트폰 시장의 중요한 기술이 될 것이라고 기대한다.

비선형동적해석을 통한 건식 기계적이음을 갖는 프리캐스트 모멘트 골조의 동등성 평가 (Evaluation of Emulative Level for Precast Moment Frame Systems with Dry Mechanical Splices by Using Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis)

  • This study presents code-compliant seismic details by addressing dry mechanical splices for precast concrete (PC) beam-column connections in the ACI 318-19 code. To this end, critical observations of previous test results on precast beam-column connection specimens with the proposed seismic detail are briefly reported in this study, along with a typical reinforced concrete (RC) monolithic connection. On this basis, nonlinear dynamic models were developed to verify seismic responses of the PC emulative moment-resisting frame systems. As the current design code allows only the emulative design approach, this study aims at identifying the seismic performances of PC moment frame systems depending on their emulative levels, for which two extreme cases were intentionally chosen as the non-emulative (unbonded self-centering with marginal energy dissipation) and fully-emulative connection details. Their corresponding hysteresis models were set by using commercial finite element analysis software. According to the current seismic design provisions, a typical five-story building was designed as a target PC building. Subsequently, nonlinear dynamic time history analyses were performed with seven ground motions to investigate the impact of emulation level or hysteresis models (i.e., energy dissipation performance) on system responses between the emulative and non-emulative PC moment frames. The analytical results showed that both the base shear and story drift ratio were substantially reduced in the emulative system compared to that of the non-emulative one, and it indicates the importance of the code-compliant (i.e., emulative) connection details on the seismic performance of the precast building.

Effect of phytase supplementation on performance, fecal excretion, and compost characteristics in broilers fed diets deficient in phosphorus and calcium

  • This study investigated the effect of dietary supplementation with phytase on growth performance, fecal excretion, and compost nutrition on broilers fed available phosphorus (avP)- and calcium (Ca)-deficient diets. A total of 750 one-day-old broiler chicks were randomly divided into five dietary groups having ten replications in a floor house. Diets of the groups were formulated with positive control (PC), negative control (NC; low avP and Ca), and NC supplemented with phytase levels; 500 (NC500), 1,000 (NC1000), and 1,500 FTU/kg (NC1500). A three-phase feeding program was used in the trial. Average daily gain (ADG) and average daily feed intake (ADFI) in the groups fed diets supplemented with phytase were significantly (p < 0.05) higher than those fed NC and the increase was equivalent to those fed PC. Serum levels of Ca and phosphorus (P) were higher (p < 0.05) in broilers fed NC1000 and NC1500 than in those fed NC. Interleukin (IL) level was the lowest in the group fed NC. Plasma myo-inositol (INS) concentrations in the NC1500 group were higher (p < 0.05) than PC, NC, and NC500 groups. Crude protein (CP) excretion was notably (p < 0.05) lower in the NC1500 group than in PC and NC groups. A lower (p < 0.05) concentration of P2O5 was observed in compost from the group fed NC1500 than the groups fed PC and NC. Accordingly, we suggest that phytase supplementation in lower avP and Ca levels of broiler diet can improve their productive performance and reduce environmental pollution.

  • LPC analogues including natural and unnatural LPC, 3-L-2-PC, acetylated LPC and ethylene glycol derivative are prepared from D-mannitol using in convenient procedures by only changing the synthetic sequences, and their protective activities against cecal ligation and puncture (CLP)-induced severe sepsis are compared. The chirality at C2 position in LPC is found to be required as (S)-configuration for sepsis inhibition, comparing from the protection activity between LPC 6 and unnatural LPC 8. The hydroxyl functionality is also very important and required at C2 or C3 position as shown in the protection activities of ethylene glycol analogue 11 and 3-L-2-PC 9.

터널 화재시나리오에 따른 콘크리트 PC패널 라이닝의 전열특성에 관한 해석적 연구 (An Study on Heat Transfer Analysis to Concrete PC Pannel Lining under Tunnel Fire Scenario)

  • This study was performed FE numerical analysis under 120-minute fire conditions, using the ABAQUS, a wide use software, on the basis of the test results by concrete tunnel lining fire strengths (ISO, RWS, and MHC). The concrete material test was to secure the material properties of concrete linings, which were numerical analysis input conditions. And then built the material properties, such as specific heat, heat transfer rate, heat expansion rate, density, elasticity coefficient and compression strength under high temperature conditions, as database at 20 $^{\circ}C$ to 800 $^{\circ}C$, applying them to analysis as input values. As a result, the tunnel linings under RWS fire conditions saw fire temperature rose to maximum 1119 $^{\circ}C$at the location of 5 mm above a thermal surface, and saw surface temperature amount to 1214 $^{\circ}C$ in the middle part.

타력 향상이 근해운송선박의 선회 성능에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Experimental Study on the Effect of Increasing Rudder Force on Turning Ability of Short Sea Shipping Ship)

  • 안전하며 친환경적인 근해운송시스템을 확보하기 위해서는 운송 수단인 선박의 안전한 운항 확보가 필수적이다. 특히 좌초, 충돌 등의 해난사고를 방지하기 위해서는 선박이 우수한 조종성능을 갖는 것이 요구되며 특히 조종성능 중에서 선회성능은 충돌 회피 등에 필수적인 성능이다. 본 연구에서는 선박에 부착된 조타기의 타력 증가가 선박의 선회성능에 미치는 영향을 모형선 실험을 통하여 고찰하였다. 먼저 Coanda 효과를 이용한 고 양력 타 장치 모형과 47 K PC의 모형선을 제작하였다. 또한 모형선의 선회 성능 실험을 위한 자유항주시스템을 구축하고 사각 수조에서의 타력 증가 값을 변화시켜가면서 모형선의 선회 성능을 계측하여 타력 증가에 따른 선회 성능의 변화를 평가하였다. 모형선의 선회성능 실험결과를 통해 타력 증가가 근해운송 선박의 선회 성능 향상에 효과적인 것을 확인하였다.

Ameliorating Effect of Gardenia jasminoides Extract on Amyloid Beta Peptide-induced Neuronal Cell Deficit

  • The brains of Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients are characterized by large deposits of amyloid beta peptide ($A{\beta}$). $A{\beta}$ is known to increase free radical production in nerve cells, leading to cell death that is characterized by lipid peroxidation, free radical formation, protein oxidation, and DNA/RNA oxidation. In this study, we selected an extract of Gardenia jasminoides by screening, and investigated its ameliorating effects on $A{\beta}$-induced oxidative stress using PC12 cells. The effects of the extract were evaluated using the 2',7'-dichlorofluorescein diacetate (DCF-DA) assay and the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) reduction assay. To find the active component, the ethanol extract was partitioned with hexane, chloroform, and ethyl acetate, respectively, and the active component was purified by silica-gel column chromatography and HPLC. The results suggested that Gardenia jasminoides extract can reduce the cytotoxicity of $A{\beta}$ in PC 12 cells, possibly by reducing oxidative stress.
