For the efficient recognition of Korean alphabets, a new procedure which is applicable for the generation of phase filters with reduced resolution requirements and capable of implementing distortion tolerant pattern recognition is proposd. The performance of these filters and their advantages for Korean alphabets recognition is demonstrated.

This paper is about the Micro Accelerometer Sensor that collect the human's writing patterns so as to process its signals. Finally, we pursue the accuracy of digital data about the writing pattern and hope to discuss the possibility of the Micro Accelerometer Sensor Besides, we researched the compensation of signal distortion due to tiIt and analyzed the noise error in order to improve its accuracy.

The main purpose of this paper is to determine a new focal point and field distribution due to the shape deformation of reflector antenna by numerical method such as geometrical optics and the aperture field method. It is shown the 4 types deformations to be added into original shape of parabola antenna and offset antenna: linear, quadratic, cubic and hybrid distortion. These results can be applied to deformed reflector antenna in order to fit a focal point and radiation pattern.

The radiation characteristics of a slot antenna in a plane conductor covered with a miving isotropic plasma layer are analyzed. The radiation null which causes distortion in radiation pattern is explainted by the zero of integrand in an asymptotic integral for radiation fields as a function of the plasma parameter and the plasma velocity. Numerical resutls for a radiation null calculated from various plasma and velocity parameters correspond to the results of two-dimensional problem.

An integrated pattern profile distortion is newly proposed to analyze various two-dimensional test patterns. The unit is converted to a time to make parameters comparable for various types of displays. In addition, this can be compared with that of extended blur edge width in time scale, which has been reported.

In this letter, we propose a novel design scheme for an optimal non-uniform planar array geometry in view of maximum side-lobe reduction. This is implemented by a thinned array using a genetic algorithm. We show that the proposed method can maintain a low side-lobe level without pattern distortion during beam steering.

패턴인식은 주위 환경을 관찰하는 방법, 배경으로부터 관심있는 패턴을 구분하는 방법, 소리를 얻는 방법, 그리고 패턴 범주들 중에서 타당한 결정을 얻는 방법에 관한 연구이다. 패턴인식 시스템을 설계할 때 필수적으로 1) 데이터의 획득과 전처리, 2) 데이터의 표현, 3) 결정방법 선택과 같은 세 가지 사항을 고려해야한다. 그 이유는 영상을 획득하기 위한 센서의 선택, 전처리 기법, 표현 기법, 의사결정 모델에 따라 인식의 결과가 달라질 수 있기 때문이다. 컬러영상은 다양한 컬러 패턴으로 구성된다. 대부분의 패턴인식 방법은 훈련되어진 컬러정보를 사용하여 컬러의 특징을 추출한다. 본 논문은 몇 가지 제한된 컬러를 가진 영상으로부터 특정한 컬러 패턴을 적응적으로 추출한다. 컬러 패턴의 수가 한정되어 있기 때문에 영상에서 컬러의 분포가 유사하다. 그러나, 영상에 잡음이나 열화가 존재하면, 그 분포가 변화한다. 그러므로 이미 알고 있는 컬러정보를 가지고 특정한 컬러의 특징을 추출할 수 없다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 유사한 컬러 패턴을 가진 영상에 대하여 특정한 컬러의 특징을 적응적으로 추출함으로서 인식의 오류를 감소시킬 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 실험하기 위하여 열화가 적은 표본영상을 사용하고, 잡음과 열화가 포함된 여섯 가지의 검사영상을 사용한다. 결론적으로 제안한 방법이 통계적인 패턴인식의 결과보다 정확한 결과를 보여준다.

In this paper, we present a fast algorithm for the motion estimation using the efficient selection of an initial search position. In the method, we select the initial search position using the motion vector from the subsmpled images, the predicted motion vector from the neighbor blocks, and the (0,0) motion vector. While searching the candidate blocks, we use the spiral search pattern with the successive elimination algorithm(SEA) and the partial distortion elimination(PDE). The experiment results show that the complexity of the proposed algorithm is about 2∼3 times faster than the three-step search(TSS) with the PSNR loss of just 0.05［dB］∼0.1［dB］ than the full search algorithm PSNR. The search complexity can be reduced with quite a few PSNR loss by controling the number of the depth in the spiral search pattern.

In this paper, a two-level switching algorithm of the deadbeat to control PWM inverter is proposed. A modified algorithm of the deadbeat is suitable for the UPS system. Two levels in the pulse pattern are used. This scheme allows the use of higher switching frequency for a given computation time delay, which results in lower total harmonic distortion at the output. The proposed control scheme is implemented using TMS320F240 DSP chip for controlling on inverter.

In this paper, a winding fault diagnosis method base on MCSA(Motor Current Signature Analysis) for BLDC motor is proposed. This method is programmed by LabVIEW for winding fault diagnosis. For winding fault diagnosis, two types of winding fault(shorted turn at one pole, shorted turn at two pole in same phase) are put intentionally in on phase. The motor current is collected by hole sensor, and transformed by the Park's transform, and then the Park's Vector Pattern are obtained, Usually this pattern is formed an ellipse, so a proper threshold value of distortion ratio(the ratio of the shortest axis and longest axis of ellipse) is suggested for winding faults diagnosis.
