교육평가란 학습자들을 서열별로 등급화 하는 과정이 아니라 적절한 평가를 통해 학습자의 문제를 해결하고 교육 과정을 개선하여 교육적 효과를 높이는 과정이다. 기존의 웹 기반 평가 시스템은 학습자의 인지 수준을 정 오답 이분 변수로만 측정하였다. 또한 수준별 평가를 지원하나 평가 시 학습동기 부여와 흥미를 이끌어 내는데 미흡하였으며, 평가 후 틀린 문제에 대한 피드백만을 제공하여 추후 학습 방향 설정과 재학습이 효율적으로 이루어지지 못한 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 문제의 답지에 따라 학습자의 인지 능력을 좀 더 세밀하게 추정하고자 부분점수를 고려하여 문제를 출제하고 학습자의 수준을 평가하였으며 평가가 끝나면 학습 진단을 제공하여 피드백 학습이 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다.

Cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulators are used as insulation in ultra-high voltage electric power cables. This study investigated the electrical properties of XLPE at different temperatures. The electrical properties of the changing tree phenomenon was examined as a function of temperature applied to the electrical conductors by measuring the partial discharge at $25^{\circ}C$ to $80^{\circ}C$ and applied voltages to the electrodes ranging from 1 kV to 40 kV. The activity of the partial discharge was examined at various temperatures using the K-means distribution. The results revealed the specimen at $80^{\circ}C$ to have the lowest inception voltage and breakdown voltage. In addition, the core of clusters was moved $0^{\circ}$ and $180^{\circ}$ at the positive region and $180^{\circ}$ and $360^{\circ}$ in the negative region in the K-means. The distribution of clusters was concentrated on the inception condition and spread out widely at the breakdown voltage.

We propose a new method for merging partical regions which have similar motion characteristics. In the proposed method, the trajectories of each partial regions are computed and the regions consisting a same object are merged by a similarity function defined in this paper. The similarity function is defined to take into consideration the motion characteristics of the trajectories. The proposed method shows good performance when the regions of an object show little variation in size and shape.

We show the cumulants of a minimal sufficient statistics in k parameter natural exponential family by parameter function and partial parameter function. We nd the cumulants have some merits of central moments and general cumulants both. The first three cumulants are the central moments themselves and the fourth cumulant has the form related with kurtosis.

In this paper we prove the inequality of subharmonic functions between a non-negative subharmonic function u and a smooth function $\upsilon$satisfying ｜$\upsilon(0)$\mid$\leq u(0), $\mid$\nabla \upsilon $\mid$ \leq$\mid$\nabla u $\mid$\leq c\Delta u $, where 0$\leq$c$\leq$1 is a constant. Here $\mu$is the harmonic measure on $\partial$D with respect to 0.

This paper discusses the problem of designing an observation function as coarsest as possible in supervisory control of discrete event dynamic systems. Some algebraic properties of two sets consisting of observation functions for which the given desirable behavior is realizable are investigated:these sets with a partial ordering turn out not to possess largest elements. Two natural methods of obtaining an observation function, which is frequently coarser than the identity mapping, are also presented. An example illustrates the use of these methods.

Steady-state natural convection heat transfer characteristics from cylinders in a multiply-connected bounded region are clarified. A spectral finite difference scheme (spectral decomposition of the system of partial differential equations, semi-implicit time integration) is applied in numerical analysis, with a boundary-fitted conformal coordinate system through a Jacobian elliptic function with a successive transformation to formulate a system of governing equations in terms of a stream function, vorticity and temperature. Multiplicity of the domain is expressed explicitly.

This paper studies the eigenvalues of the G(·)-Laplacian Dirichlet problem $$\{-div\;\(\frac{g(x,\;{\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid})}{{\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}}{\nabla}u\)={\lambda}\;\(\frac{g(x,{\mid}u{\mid})}{{\mid}u{\mid}}u\)\;in\;{\Omega}, \\u\;=\;0\;on\;{\partial}{\Omega},$$ where Ω is a bounded domain in ℝ^N and g is the density of a generalized Φ-function G(·). Using the Lusternik-Schnirelmann principle, we show the existence of a nondecreasing sequence of nonnegative eigenvalues.
