Owing to rapid advancements in NGS (next generation sequencing), genomic alteration is now considered an essential predictive biomarkers that impact the treatment decision in many cases of cancer. Among the various predictive biomarkers, tumor mutation burden (TMB) was identified by NGS and was considered to be useful in predicting a clinical response in cancer cases treated by immunotherapy. In this study, we directly compared the lab-developed-test (LDT) results by target sequencing panel, K-MASTER panel v3.0 and whole-exome sequencing (WES) to evaluate the concordance of TMB. As an initial step, the reference materials (n = 3) with known TMB status were used as an exploratory test. To validate and evaluate TMB, we used one hundred samples that were acquired from surgically resected tissues of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. The TMB of each sample was tested by using both LDT and WES methods, which extracted the DNA from samples at the same time. In addition, we evaluated the impact of capture region, which might lead to different values of TMB; the evaluation of capture region was based on the size of NGS and target sequencing panels. In this pilot study, TMB was evaluated by LDT and WES by using duplicated reference samples; the results of TMB showed high concordance rate (R2 = 0.887). This was also reflected in clinical samples (n = 100), which showed R2 of 0.71. The difference between the coding sequence ratio (3.49%) and the ratio of mutations (4.8%) indicated that the LDT panel identified a relatively higher number of mutations. It was feasible to calculate TMB with LDT panel, which can be useful in clinical practice. Furthermore, a customized approach must be developed for calculating TMB, which differs according to cancer types and specific clinical settings.

This paper developed three evaluation criteria for 'Analysis', six evaluation criteria for 'Synthesis' and two evaluation criteria for 'Evaluation' with sample evaluation tool.
Three-dimensional panels are one of the modern construction systems which can be placed in the category of industrial buildings. There have always been a lot of studies and efforts to identify the behavior of these panels and improve their capacity due to their earthquake resistance and high speed of performance. This study will provide a comparative evaluation of behavior of updated three-dimensional panel's structural components under lateral load in both independent and dependent modes. In fact, this study tries to simultaneously evaluate strengthening effect of three-dimensional panels and the effects of system state (independent, L-shaped and BOX shaped Walls) with reinforcement armatures with different angles on the three-dimensional panels. Overall, six independent wall model, L-shaped, roofed L-shaped, BOX-shaped walls with symmetric loading, BOX -shaped wall with asymmetrical loading and roofed BOX-shaped wall were built. Then the models are strengthened without strengthened reinforcement and with strengthened reinforcements with an angle of 30, 45 and 60 degrees. The applied lateral loading, is exerted by changing the location on the end wall. In BOX-shaped wall, in symmetric and asymmetric loading, the load bearing capacity will be increased about 200 and 50% respectively. Now, if strengthened, the load bearing capacity in symmetric and asymmetric loading will be increased 3.5 and 2 times respectively. The effective angle of placement of strengthened reinforcement in the independent wall is 45 and 60 degrees. But in BOX-shaped and L-shaped walls, the use of strengthened reinforcement 45 degrees is recommended.
We have performed the inflammability test for various flooring materials through a radiant heat panel tester by using the specification KSISO 9239-1 (an examination method of flooring materials) that has been set as an international standard for the fire prevention means of interior flooring materials. We have measured the flame spread distance, critical heat flux and smoke density generated by the fire of various flooring materials while using the radiant heat panel tester. The measurement result has shown the burning characteristics different from each other by the respective flooring materials and we could see that the surface materials and construction elements influence greatly on the heat release and smoke generation. We could see that the evaluation method above is an important test method in evaluating the critical heat flux, smoke generation and flame spread distance that are Important factors in studying for fire risks and it is judged that setting and applying a fire evaluation method of flooring materials suitable for the domestic construction use would be relevant.
The effects of intramuscular fat on the sensory characteristics of M. longissimus dorsi in Japanese Black steers were investigated by a trained analytical panel (average 13.4 panelists). Five sets (10 head) of artificial identical twins were divided into 2 groups, high level of intramuscular fat group (HG) which utilized the fattening method of increasing intramuscular fat and low level of intramuscular fat group (LG) which did not use the above method. Regarding M. longissmus dorsi which was produced for use in the sensory evaluation, crude fat contents of HG and LG was 25.8% and 23.2% respectively (p<0.05). Warner-Bratzler shear force, water holding capacity, cooking loss and fatty acid composition of HG and LG were similar between the two groups. M. Longissimus dorsi taken from HG and LG were tested for their sensory characteristics by a trained panel. HG was given higher points for juiciness than LG (p<0.05). There were no significant differences for tenderness and flavor between the two groups. Overall acceptability which synthesized each of the sensory characteristics of HG and LG were 5.04 and 4.69 points respectively (p = 0.05). These results suggested that juiciness increased with the increase of intramuscular fat, and this raised the overall acceptability of M. longissimus dorsi.
In an attempt to evaluate the quality of food by sensory testing, the difference testing for commercial milk was conducted by selected members of a sensory panel. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Sensory panel of 40 persons were selected by the general basis of selection of panel members, by sensitivity test for primary taste, and by discriminatory ability test and trained to have normal abilities on the sensory testing for the quality of milk. 2. As a result of sensitivity test for 4 primary tastes by panel members, the solution concentration of salt, sour, bitter and sweet for which average recognition threshold was located were 0.0128 M sodium chloride, 0.0008 M citric acid, 0.0016 M caffeine and 0.0256 M sucrose, respectively. 3. As results of difference test of single stimuli, paired comparison test, duo-trio test and triangle test, a significant difference was recognized at higher level than the 1% among the samples of commercial milk produced by 5 companies.

Experimental investigation on heat transfer ratio was firstly performed with three types of sandwich panels such as the Carbon/Epoxy Skin-Aluminum Honeycomb and Balsa Core Sandwich Panel of 37mm thickness, the Carbon/Epoxy Aluminum Skin-Honeycomb Core Sandwich Panel of 57mm thickness (including insulator) and the Carbon/Epoxy Skin-Aluminum Honeycomb Core Sandwich Panel of 37mm thickness based on the KS F 2278:2003(Insulation test method of windows). In additional to this investigation, experimental tests were also done for evaluation of heat transportation ratio with the Aluminum Skin- Aluminium Honeycomb Sandwich Panels of 27mm and 35mm thickness, and Aluminum Skin-Foaming Aluminum Sandwich Panel of 27mm thickness by the KS F2277:2002 (Insulation measuring method of construction component-Calibration heat box method or protective heat box method). In this study, it was found that the larger net heat transfer cross sectional area between the skin and the sandwich core is given, the higher heat transportation ratio occurs. It was also found that the hybrid type insulation had better insulation characteristics compared to the non-hybrid type insulation.

Objective: Gimatecan is a new camptothecin (CPT) analogue that inhibits tumor growth by targeting DNA topoisomerase I (TOP I) and introducing strong and persistent DNA cleavage. Anti-tumor activity has been demonstrated with a wide range of solid tumors in previous preclinical and clinical studies. Here, we investigated for the first time the effects of gimatecan on the proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells both in vitro and in vivo. Methods: Anticancer efficacy of gimatecan were evaluated in a panel of HCC cell lines and corresponding mouse xenograft models. Inhibition of cell proliferation was measured by CellTiter-Glo cell viability assay. In vivo, gimatecan and control preparations were orally administered every four days, for a total of four times. Tumor volume and body weights of the mice were measured twice weekly. Results: In vitro cytotoxicity evaluation showed that gimatecan inhibited the proliferation of a large panel of HCC cell lines in a dose dependent manner, with IC50 values ranging between 12.1~1085.0 nM. In vivo evaluation in mouse xenograft models showed significant antitumor effects of gimatecan at 0.8mg/kg and 0.4mg/kg as compared to the control group. Conclusion: This study suggested that gimatecan may have the potential to be used as a chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of HCC.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the torso patterns by analyzing sensory evaluations. The anthropometric measurements for female college students were obtained between March and October in 1998, and a total of 197 anthropomatric data was used for the somatotype analysis. The appearance and fit of three kinds of torso patterns(ESMOD, FIT, and Muller & sohn) were evaluated by expert panel and the subjects. The results of the anthropometric measurements and sensory evaluations are as follows; The mean height of the anthropometric data for 197 students is 158.98cm. The largest proportion of the three somatotypes(H, M and A type) is big hip type(A type) consisting of 47.7% of all the respondents. The result of the torso pattern evaluations by expert panel indicates that the ESMOD pattern obtains the highest rating in general acceptability. A significant difference(p<.05) in the responses to two questions, the placement of the waist dart, and the gapping & creasing at back hip area was found. The ESMOD and Muller & sohn patterns are given the highest rating in the general acceptability. The result of the evaluation was obtained by the subjects. (Korean J. Human Ecology 1(2):100∼112, 1998)

The column-tree type steel beam-column connections are commonly used in East Asian countries, including Korea. The welding detail between the stub beam and column is similar to the WUF-W connection; thus, it can be expected to have sufficient seismic performance. However, previous experimental studies indicate that premature slip occurs at the friction joints between the stub and link beams. In this study, for the accurate seismic performance evaluation of column-tree type moment connections, a moment-slip model was proposed by investigating the previous test results. As a result, it was found that the initial slip occurred at about 25% of the design slip moment strength, and the amount of slip was about 0.15%. Also, by comparing the analysis results from models with and without the slip element, the influence of slip on the performance of overall beam-column connections was examined. As the panel zone became weaker, the contribution of slip on overall deformation became greater, and the shear demand for the panel zone was reduced.
