  • If normality of an observed data is not a viable assumption, we can carry out normal-theory analyses by suitable transforming data. Power transformation by Box and Cox, one of the transformation methods, is derived the power which maximized the likelihood function. But it doesn't induces the closed form in mathematical analysis. In this paper, we compose some R the syntax of which is easier than other statistical packages for deriving the power with using numerical methods. Also, by using R, we show the transformed data approximately distributed the normal through Q-Q plot in univariate and bivariate cases with some examples. Finally, we present the value of a goodness-of-fit statistic(AD) and its p-value for normal distribution. In the similar procedure, this method can be extended to more than bivariate case.

  • In the setting of semidenite linear complementarity problems on $S^n$, we focus on the Stein Transformation $S_A(X)\;:=X-AXA^T$, and show that $S_A$ is (strictly) monotone if and only if ${\nu}_r(UAU^T{\circ}\;UAU^T)$(<)${\leq}1$, for all orthogonal matrices U where ${\circ}$ is the Hadamard product and ${\nu}_r$ is the real numerical radius. In particular, we show that if ${\rho}(A)$ < 1 and ${\nu}_r(UAU^T{\circ}\;UAU^T){\leq}1$, then SDLCP($S_A$, Q) has a unique solution for all $Q{\in}S^n$. In an attempt to characterize the GUS-property of a nonmonotone $S_A$, we give an instance of a nonnormal $2{\times}2$ matrix A such that SDLCP($S_A$, Q) has a unique solution for Q either a diagonal or a symmetric positive or negative semidenite matrix. We show that this particular $S_A$ has the $P^{\prime}_2$-property.

  • Hc nuclear polyhedrosis virus DNA genome was digested with EcoRI endonuclease, these partial fragments were recombined into the pUC8 plasmid vector and transformed in E. coli JM 83 cell. The genome DNA has 24 EcoRI fragments and 12 fragments of them were subcloned. The four recombinants were named as eNP-O, eNP-Q, eNP-R and eNP-S. The expression of foregin gene of the recombinants was investigated by analysing protein patterns on the SDS-PAGE. The eNP-O, eNP-Q and eNP-R were expressed a different weight of protein as comparision with potypeptide bands of E. coli JM 83 host cell.

  • In 2003, Marques-Smith and Sullivan described the join ${\Omega}$ of the 'natural order' $\leq$ and the 'containment order' $\subseteq$ on P(X), the semigroup under composition of all partial transformations of a set X. And, in 2004, Pinto and Sullivan described all automorphisms of PS(q), the partial Baer-Levi semigroup consisting of all injective ${\alpha}{\in}P(X)$ such that ${\mid}X{\backslash}X{\alpha}\mid=q$, where $N_0{\leq}q{\leq}{\mid}X{\mid}$. In this paper, we describe the group of automorphisms of R(q), the largest regular subsemigroup of PS(q). In 2010, we studied some properties of $\leq$ and $\subseteq$ on PS(q). Here, we characterize the meet and join under those orders for elements of R(q) and PS(q). In addition, since $\leq$ does not equal ${\Omega}$ on I(X), the symmetric inverse semigroup on X, we formulate an algebraic version of ${\Omega}$ on arbitrary inverse semigroups and discuss some of its properties in an algebraic setting.

  • In this work, we establish oscillation of the second order sublinear neutral delay dynamic equations of the form:$$(r(t)((x(t)+p(t)x({\tau}(t)))^{\Delta})^{\gamma})^{\Delta}+q(t)x^{\gamma}({\alpha}(t))+v(t)x^{\gamma}({\eta}(t))=0$$ on a time scale T by means of Riccati transformation technique, under the assumptions $${\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits^{\infty}}_{t_0}}\({\frac{1}{r(t)}}\)^{\frac{1}{\gamma}}{\Delta}t={\infty}$$, and ${\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits^{\infty}}_{t_0}}\({\frac{1}{r(t)}}\)^{\frac{1}{\gamma}}{\Delta}t$ < ${\infty}$, for various ranges of p(t), where 0 < ${\gamma}{\leq}1$ is a quotient of odd positive integers.

  • Translocations involving chromosome 21q22 are frequently observed in hematologic malignancies including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), most of which have been known to be involved in malignant transformation through transcriptional dysregulation of Runt-related transcription factor 1 (RUNX1) target genes. Nineteen RUNX1 translocational partner genes, at least, have been identified, but not Homeobox A (HOXA) genes so far. We report a novel translocation of RUNX1 into the HOXA gene cluster in a 57-year-old female AML patient who had been diagnosed with myelofibrosis 39 months ahead. G-banding showed 46,XX,t(7;21)(p15;q22). The involvement of RUNX1 and HOXA genes was confirmed by fluorescence in situ hybridization.

  • This work is concerned with oscillation of the second order sublinear neutral delay dynamic equations of the form $$\(r(t)\;\((y(t)+p(t)y(a(t)))^{\Delta}\)^{\gamma}\)^{\Delta}+q(t)y^{\gamma}({\beta}(t))=0$$ on a time scale $\mathcal{T}$ by means of Riccati transformation technique, under the assumptions $\int^{\infty}_{t_0}\(\frac{1}{r(t)}\)^{\frac{1}{\gamma}}$ ${\Delta}t={\infty}$ and $\int^{\infty}_{t_0}\(\frac{1}{r(t)}\)^{\frac{1}{\gamma}}$ ${\Delta}t$ < ${\infty}$, where 0 < ${\gamma}{\leq}1$ is a quotient of odd positive integers.

  • By employing the Riccati transformation technique some new oscillation criteria for the second-order neutral delay dynamic equation $$(y(t)+r(t)y({\tau}(t)))^{{\Delta}{\Delta}}+p(t)y(\delta(t))=0$$, on a time scale $\mathbb{T}$ are established. Our results as a special case when $\mathbb{T}=\mathbb{R}$ and $\mathbb{T}=\mathbb{N}$ improve some well known oscillation criteria for second order neutral delay differential and difference equations, and when $\mathbb{T}=q^{\mathbb{N}}$, i.e., for second-order $q$-neutral difference equations our results are essentially new and can be applied on different types of time scales. Some examples are considered to illustrate the main results.

  • This paper is concerned with the interval oscillation of the second order nonlinear ordinary differential equation (r(t)|y'(t)|$^{{\alpha}-1}$ y'(t))'+p(t)|y'(t)|$^{{\alpha}-1}$ y'(t)+q(t)f(y(t))g(y'(t))=0. By constructing ageneralized Riccati transformation and using the method of averaging techniques, we establish some interval oscillation criteria when f(y) is not differetiable but satisfies the condition $\frac{f(y)}{|y|^{{\alpha}-1}y}$ ${\geq}{\mu}_0$ > 0 for $y{\neq}0$.

  • The purpose of this study is to detect the factors which have an effect on transformation level and performance and to provide the ways of successful transformation and vitalization from OEM to ODM. This study was proceeded by an empirical analysis. A model and hypotheses were set up and they were verified through the empirical analysis. Those factors were divided into four, inner company factors, strategic factors, core competence factors and purchase determining factors. In the result of the model suitability analysis on the study model of relationship among 'influencing factors of ODM transformation - ODM transformation level-export performance', every factors, $X^2=912.067$, DF=261, p value=0.000, GFI=0.737, AGFI=0.620, NFI=0.786, IFI=0.837, CFI=0.834, Q value=3.495 were rather insufficient to be a good model, but they were good enough for the general analysis. Taking these accounts into consideration, this study suggests the following implications. First, making a plan and setting up strategies in advance are required. Second, financial plan has to be prepared. Third, trends in global markets have to be analyzed. Fourth, companies have to focus on developing new materials and products through R&D. Fifth, quality competitiveness and quality control systems are required.
