We classify all possible level Artinian O-sequences of socle degree 5 and type 3. Moreover, we show how to construct level Artinian algebras with those Hilbert functions using the sum of two ideals of finite sets of points in $P^2$ such that the ideal of the union of two sets is level.

We introduce in this paper the concept of idempotent reflexive right ideals and concern with rings containing an injective maximal right ideal. Some known results for reflexive rings and right HI-rings can be extended to idempotent reflexive rings. As applications, we are able to give a new characterization of regular right self-injective rings with nonzero socle and extend a known result for right weakly regular rings.

Every irreducible block-finite orthomodular lattice is simple [9] and every irreducible orthomodular alttice such that no proper p-ideal of L contains infinitely many commutators is simple [5]. Every finite (height) OML L which does not belong to the varitety generated by MO2 has one of the OML MO3, 2$^{3}$.2$^{2}$, D$_{16}$ OMLHOUSE as the homomorpyhic image of a subalgebra of L [3]. In this paper, we extend these results.s.

We investigate some results which concern the types of Noetherian local rings. In particular, we show that if r(Ap) ${\le}$ depth Ap + 1 for each prime ideal p of a quasi-unmixed Noetherian local ring A, then A is Cohen-Macaulay. It is also shown that the Kawasaki conjecture holds when dim A ${\le}$ depth A + 1. At the end, we deal with some analogous results for modules, which are derived from the results studied on rings.

In this paper we introduce the notion of NI near-rings similar to the notion introduced in rings. We give topological properties of collection of strongly prime ideals in NI near-rings. We have shown that if N is a NI and weakly pm near-ring, then $Max(N)$ is a compact Hausdorff space. We have also shown that if N is a NI near-ring, then for every $a{\in}N$, $cl(D(a))=V(N^*(N)_a)=Supp(a)=SSpec(N){\setminus}int\;V(a)$.

이 연구는 4P(Police-Press-Politics-Public) 모델의 분석을 통해 언론과 경찰의 바람직한 관계 정립을 위한 정책적 제언을 목적으로 한다. Jean-Louis Loubet Del Bayle은 4가지 주체인 경찰, 언론, 대중, 정치의 관계에 관하여 정보의 교류와 흐름, 권력관계, 정당성 관계라는 3가지 측면에서 이들 간의 관계 모델을 제시하고 있다. 모델 분석을 통해 알 수 있는 것은 언론과 경찰은 국민과 정치라는 외부 주체와의 관계에서 정당성(Legitimacy)을 부여받고 그 정당성을 바탕으로 정보를 입수하고 상대방에 대한 통제 권한을 행사한다는 것이다. 이렇듯 각자의 사회적 기능과 외부환경과의 관계는 경찰과 언론의 관계를 민감하고 복잡하게 만드는 근본 이유가 된다. 4P모델의 분석을 통해 알 수 있는 것은 언론과 경찰의 균형적 관계 정립은 두 주체의 사회적 기능을 보장하고 정당성 확보의 공통 경로인 국민들의 이익으로 귀결된다는 것이다. 또한, 경찰은 언론과의 균형적 관계 형성을 통해 사회변화의 적응성을 높여 경찰행정발전의 영속성을 확보할 수 있다는 것이다. 그리고 경찰과 언론의 균형적 관계를 위해서는 두 주체에게 공통적으로 적용되는 실질적인 '보도 가이드라인'이 마련되어야 하고, 경찰로서는 언론에 대한 사회적 기능의 이해와 관계 개선을 위해 전문적인 인력으로 구성된 언론 담당 부서를 설치해야 한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for the development of weight control programs to maintain and promote healthy behavior in women college students by identifying their weight control behaviors and factors that influence these behaviors. Method: Data were collected from 300 women student participants and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with the SPSS 18.0 program. Result: Weight control behavior showed a significant difference according to participants' gender role identity type. Weight control behaviors were correlated with self-efficacy, body image, objective BMI, and ideal BMI. Factors influencing weight control behavior were self-efficacy (${\beta}$= .449, $p$<.001), secret method for weight loss (${\beta}$= .181, $p$<.001), monthly allowance below 200,000 won (${\beta}$= .156, $p$= .006), weight control support from others (${\beta}$= .124, $p$= .013), eating breakfast (${\beta}$= .119, $p$= .015), and age (${\beta}$= .113, $p$= .023) with R-sq. value of 45.3%. Conclusion: The results of the study indicate that development of interventions for weight control behavior and health education for college women should reflect identified factors influencing weight control behavior and gender role identity.

Solar, as an ideal renewable energy, it has inexhaustible, clean and safe characteristics. In order to improve the photovoltaic system efficiency and utilize the solar energy more fully, and the DC current and DC power vary with the irradiation and module temperature, it is necessary to study the characteristics of photovoltaic I-V and P-V according to the external factors. This paper presents the analysis of characteristics of photovoltaic I-V and P-V according to the irradiation and the module temperature. The results show that the DC current and the DC power of the photovoltaic system are increased along with the increasing values of irradiation.

Malnutrition is a common problem in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (HD) and compromised food intake is an important cause. Malnutrition is one of the important factors influencing mortality in these patients. This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition education at improving nutritional status of 23 Korean HD patients (mean : 48.6 $\pm$ 10.4 years, men : 8, women : 15). Anthropometric indices, nutrient intakes, and biochemical blood indices were measured before and after a 6-month nutrition education intervention. Anthropometric indices such as percent ideal body weight [PIBW (%)], body fat, body mass index (BMI), mid-arm circumference (MAC), mid-arm muscle circumference (MAMC), and calculated arm muscle area (CAMA) of subjects were within the normal range and not changed by nutrition education. Subjective global assessment (SGA) was significantly increased (p < 0.05) after nutrition education. Intake of total energy, carbohydrate, lipid, Ca, and vitamin B1 was increased significantly (p < 0.05) but intake of phosphorus, potassium, and sodium was decreased (p < 0.05). The serum concentrations of albumin, total protein, and Ca were significantly increased (p < 0.05), but levels of P and K were decreased (p < 0.05) after the intervention. These findings suggest that nutrition education for HD patients can be effective for positively changing nutrient intakes, leading to improvements in blood indices and nutritional status.

유당(乳糖)을 함유(含有)하지 않은 분유식(粉乳食)을 섭취한 흰쥐의 장관내(腸管內)에는 Casein함유식(含有食)을 섭취한 때와 마찬가지로 C.P.P.가 생성(生成)되며 이 C.P.P.에 의해 장관내(腸管內) 칼슘이 증가(增加)되며 소장하부(小腸下部)에서의 칼슘흡수(吸收)가 촉진(促進)되는 것을 밝혔다. 그러나 10% 또는 30% Lactose를 첨가한 경우, 위의 제(諸) 현상(現象)은 보이지 않았다. 이것은 장관내(腸管內)에서의 칼슘의 가용화(可溶化) 및 흡수(吸收)에 대 한 C.P.P의 촉진효과(促進效果)가 유당(乳糖)과는 독립적(獨立的)으로 일어나는 것임을 시사함이다.
