  • The symmetric ring property was due to Lambek and provided many useful results in relation with noncommutative ring theory. In this note we consider this property over centers, introducing symmetric-over-center. It is shown that symmetric and symmetric-over-center are independent of each other. The structure of symmetric-over-center ring is studied in relation to various radicals of polynomial rings.

  • We introduce the category IRel (H) consisting of intuitionistic fuzzy relational spaces on sets and we study structures of the category IRel (H) in the viewpoint of the topological universe introduced by L.D.Nel. Thus we show that IRel (H) satisfies all the conditions of a topological universe over Set except the terminal separator property and IRel (H) is cartesian closed over Set.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of person-job fit, which consists of educational fit and skill fit, on employees' intrinsic job satisfaction. To the end, the 10-year balanced panel data of the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study(KLIPS) by the Korea Labor Institute (KLI) for 2008-2017 are utilized. This study analyzes 12,730 observations by 1,273 employees by using fixed effect model, random effect model, and pooled OLS estimation method. The empirical results are as follows: First, it is founded that educational fit and skill fit seem affect job satisfaction positively. Second, the negative effects of over-education are clear and the negative effects of under-education are unclear, while the effects of over-skilled and under-skilled are insignificant statistically. Third, the results imply that the size of effect of over-education on intrinsic job satisfaction is larger than that of the effect of over-skilled. Forth, it is shown that the use of fixed effect model is more effective and trustworthy than that of random effect model and pooled OLS estimation method, implying that the effect size of coefficients which are estimated by pooled OLS method and random effect model are likely over-estimated. The empirical results above imply that firms and employees should focus on solving over-education issue before all in order to enhance employees' job satisfaction and it is needed to monitor regularly whether systemic job assignment process is done based on the employees' educational attainment and skill level and to provide more chances for job re-allocation and job rotation.

  • Since 1980's, the opportunities of higher education have increased absolutely to the extent worrying of over-education. The over-education means that job-seekers having a bachelor degree flow into job market much more than necessary and the problem of unemployment and under-employment becomes more serious. These changes in the labor market can affect the university selection behaviors of high school graduates. This study aims to reveal the impacts of over-education in Chungbuk, a periphery region, Korea. As expected, many of college graduates flow down into jobs asking school years less than higher education. On the other hand, high school graduates have an tendency of choosing a college, especially a college in center region, other than universities in Chungbuk, to expect more stable and rewarding job in income and upward mobility after the graduation of higher education. As the result of this, a regional university district, which means most of students in the region enter college within region limit, is getting broken into more smaller districts, a kind of local district. It can be thought as a sign that the dominance of regional center is weakening and more cities in the region receive a direct affects from center region, not through regional center.

  • We classify equivariant topoligical complex vector bundles over real projective plane under a compact Lie group (not necessarily effective) action. It is shown that nonequivariant Chern classes and isotropy representations at (at most) three points are sufficient to classify equivariant vector bundles over real projective plane except one case. To do it, we relate the problem to classification on two-sphere through the covering map because equivariant vector bundles over two-sphere have been already classified.

  • In this study, we examined the prompted reflections of four middle school mathematics teachers after their lessons. We used Cohen and Ball's instructional triangle (1999) to investigate teachers' reflections. With this framework, we addressed questions of what characteristics in reflections the participant teachers have and how the reflections differ over time. Findings indicated that the teachers showed differences in the instances of assessing and changes over time in the ways they gained more insights about students' understanding.

  • In this paper, we present an algorithm for computing the number of points on the Jacobian varieties of genus 3 hyperelliptic curves of type $y^2=x^7+ax$ over finite prime fields. The problem of determining the group order of the Jacobian varieties of algebraic curves defined over finite fields is important not only arithmetic geometry but also curve-based cryptosystems in order to find a secure curve. Based on this, we provide the explicit formula of the characteristic polynomial of the Frobenius endomorphism of the Jacobian variety of hyperelliptic curve $y^2=x^7+ax$ over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_p$ with $p{\equiv}1$ modulo 12. Moreover, we also introduce some implementation results by using our algorithm.

  • The interdecadal variation of wintertime blocking frequency over the Siberia ($60^{\circ}E-140^{\circ}E$) is examined using the ECMWF/NCEP-NCAR re-analysis data for the period 1958-2006. The wintertime blocking frequency over the Siberia significantly decreased for the period 1986-2006, compared to the period 1958-1985, which is mainly due to the anomalous circulation of 500-hPa geopotential height field. During the period 1986-2006, there was enhancement in both the anomalous cyclonic flow over the western Siberia and the anomalous anticyclonic flow over the east Asia. These anomalous circulation patterns, which might be associated with changes in surface temperatures over the Asian continent, are suspected to playa possibly important role as an obstacle to the formation of blocking flow over the Siberia.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze and assess the current situation of Korea's school health education program and to establish measures to efficiently carry out school health education in Korea. Method: The survey was conducted through the internet with the health educators of elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide to assess the current condition of school health education programs, and 2,459 samples were collected which accounted for 23.4% of the total respondents. Results: According to school health educators on the enforcement of health education, the higher the education became, the less the health education was enforced. The enforcement rate was 96.9% in elementary schools, 76.7% in middle schools, and 67.3% in high schools. The major reasons were found as difficulty in securing class time (54.5%) and other excessive workloads (20.9%). As a result of the health education awareness survey, over 99% answered that health education is needed, over 80% answered that the education requires independent health textbooks, and over 95% answered that health educators are suitable for the person in charge of the education. Conclusion: This study will be a useful in establishing a detailed policy on enhancing school health education in the future.

  • This paper considers the Jacobian variety of a hyperelliptic curve over a finite field with mixed symmetric formal type. We present the Newton polygon of the characteristic polynomial of the Frobenius endomorphism of the Jacobian variety. It gives a useful tool for finding the local decomposition of the Jacobian variety into isotypic components.
