Background: The purpose of this study was influence of change of electrical stimulation time on body regions affects on electrical current threshold. Methods: The present study is to examine the effect of silver spike point (SSP) electrical stimulation (1Hz), transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS, 100Hz), and interferential current therapy (ICT, 50Hz) from the low back and scapulodorsal and knee joint regions on stimulation-induced current thresholds from the elderly (over sixty) people (male:72, female:91) in senior welfare center. Result: The low back region, but not scapulodorsal and knee joint region, significantly increased the TENS and ICT, but not SSP, electrical stimulation, significantly increased the time-dependent current thresholds in elderly patients. Conclusion: Therefore, these results, in part, suggest that the TENS and ICT were shown to be a more adaptable method of stimulation, and that needed of the development of senile specialized physical therapy and the utilization of senior leisure facilities such as senior welfare center the others.

능동형 평판디스플레이 소자를 제작하기 위해 수소화된 비정질 규소 박막트랜지스터 (a-Si:H TFT)의 상부에 화소전극을 형성하는 과정에 따른 TFT의 특성 변화를 연구하였다. 화소전극 형성 전에 1 pA 수준의 오프상태 전류 및 $10^6$ 이상의 스위칭률을 보이던 TFT에 화소전극 공정을 행하면 오프상태 전류가 10 pA 이상으로 증가하여 소자특성이 악화되었다. 이러한 소자특성의 악화는 SiNx 보호막 표면의 플라즈마 처리로 개선될 수 있었는데, 특히 $N_2$ 플라즈마가 좋은 결과를 보였다. 화소전극 공정에 의해서 누설전류가 증가하는 것은 투명전도막 증착공정 중에 SiNx 보호막 표면에 전하가 축적되어 이에 유도되는 백채널의 캐리어 축적에 기인하는 것으로 추정된다.

We study MDS(maximum distance separable) self-dual codes over Galois ring R = GR(2^m, r). We prove that there exists an MDS self-dual code over R of length n if (n - 1) divides (2^r - 1), and 2^m divides n. We also provide the current state of the problem for the existence of MDS self-dual codes over Galois rings.

High frequency voltage signal injection have been widely used but they have some problems like over current protection. High frequency current signal injection and feedback control are more stable than voltage signal injection. In this paper, high frequency current controller for self-sensing and parameter estimation of induction motors is presented.

A laser system for therapy of cancer is proposed in this paper. In order to accuracy and statistical output control we used the constant current control method and designed the power source to protect the resonator from the over -current, rush-current and electrical fault. The most important things are the radiation type for cancer therapy in laser system, we developed the radiation type of cw, pulse, and burst pulse. The experimental result show that laser beam power increase linearly from 100mW to 300mW for input current increasing and the exposure time.

In this paper, accelerated stress test(AST) for Magnetic Switch (MS) are applied to assure specified reliability of the products. Magnetic contactor that functions with over-current relay is called MS. Magnetic contactor closes and opens the motor load with ON/OFF switch of electronic contactor. It is also used for protecting and controlling the load. Magnetic contactor detects the over-current flow in the load with a over-current relay and disconnects the load by opening its control power. In this study, AST for product assembly are developed in order to improve the weak point so that increase the product reliability. Also we will show the basic information for the accelerated life test(ALT). The proposed AST results and procedures may be extended and applied to testing similar kinds of products to reduce test times and costs of the tests remarkably. Finally the results of this study will contribute to improving reliability of products and strengthening competitiveness of our products in the world markets.

In this work, the ITO thin films were prepared by FTS (Facing Targets Sputtering) system under different sputtering conditions which were varying $O_2$ gas flow, input current at room temperature. As a function of sputtering conditions, electrical and optical properties of prepared ITO thin films were measured. The electrical, optical characteristics and surface roughness of prepared ITO thin films were measured. In the results, as increasing $O_2$ gas 0.1[sccm] to 0.7[sccm], resistivity of ITO thin film was increased with a decreasing carrier concentration, $O_2$ gas over 0.3[sccm] the carrier mobility have a similarly value. Transmittance of prepared ITO thin films were improved at increasing $O_2$ gas 0.1[sccm] to 0.7[sccm]. And transmittance of all of the prepared ITO thin films was over 80%. We could obtain resistivity $6.19{\times}10^{-4}[{\omega}{\cdot}cm]$, carrier mobility $22.9[cm^2/V{\cdot}sec]$, carrier concentration $4.41{\times}10^{20}[cm^{-3}]$ and transmittance over 80% of ITO thin film prepared at working pressure 1mTorr, input current 0.4A without any substrate heating.

In this study, ALT models for MS are developed using the relationship between stresses and life characteristics of products. Using the ALT models, we performed life tests and analyzed the tests results. The proposed ALT models and procedures may be extended and applied to testing similar kinds of products to reduce test times and costs of the tests remarkably. Finally the results of this study will contribute to improving reliability of products and strengthening competitiveness of our products in world markets.

Purpose: We aimed to investigate whether visuomotor function would be modulated, when healthy subjects performed tracking task after tDCS application over the primary sensorimotor cortex (SM1) in the non-dominant hemisphere. Methods: Thirty four right-handed healthy participants were enrolled, who randomly and evenly divided into two groups, real tDCS group and sham control group. Direct current with intensity of 1 mA was delivered over SM1 for 15 minutes. After tDCS, tracking task was measured, and their performance was calculated by an accuracy index (AI). Results: No significant difference in AI at the baseline between the two groups was observed. The AI of the real tDCS group was significantly increased after electrical stimulation, compared to the sham control group. Two way ANOVA with repeated measurement showed a significant finding in a large main effects of time and group-by-repeated test interaction. Conclusion: This study indicated that application of the anodal tDCS over the SM1 could facilitate higher visuomotor coordination, compared to sham tDCS group. These findings suggest possibility that tDCS can be used as adjuvant brain modulator for improvement of motor accuracy in healthy individuals as well as patients with brain injury.

This study was carried out to find out general characteristics and health-related behaviors of elders aged 65 or over and factors related to their activities of daily living. and thus to contribute to their health maintenance and promotion. The subjects were 200 elders who had resided at Tae Jean city, with males and females was scaled 1 : 3. To collect data for study, the field survey was conducted from March 20 to October 31, 1997 with questionaire. 1. 65.0% of the subjects were 65-75 years old, while 35.0% were 75 years old or over, 20.5% of them were illterate, 46.5% could read and write Korean. graduated from elementary school, and 11.5% middle school or higher level. 2. 28.5% of subjects perceived their current health status, 46.0% of men and 38.0% of women as fair, In genal elderly men perceived their health status better than elderly women. Among the subjects, 62.0% of men and 57.0% of women reported that they experienced one or more illnesses during the last year. 3. 76.0% of men and 33.0% of women were current smokers. 55.0% of current smokers. 55.0% of current make smokers smoked 11-12 cigarettes per day and 53.2% of current female smokers smoked less than 10 cigarettes per day. 4. 76.0% of men and 37.3% of women drank alchol currently. 5. 56.0% of men and 34.7% of women practiced regular exercise for their health maintenance and promotion. 6. In general, 38.5% of subjects needed other's assistance for doing one or more Activites such as doing heavy home work, Walking up and down stairs or walking half a mile. 7. Common disease of the subjects were hypertention, depenerative arthritis and diabetes mellitus in order.
