SOME RECURRENCE RELATIONS OF MULTIPLE ORTHOGONAL POLYNOMIALS

  • In this paper, we first find a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of multiple orthogonal polynomials by the moments of a pair of measures $(d{\mu},\;dv)$ and then give representations for multiple orthogonal polynomials. We also prove four term recurrence relations for multiple orthogonal polynomials of type II and several interesting relations for multiple orthogonal polynomials are given. A generalized recurrence relation for multiple orthogonal polynomials of type I is found and then four term recurrence relations are obtained as a special case.

  • 반응표면분석시 모든 실험이 동일한 조건 하에서 이루어지어야 하는 데 그렇지 못할 경우 우리는 블럭화를 행하게 된다. 반응 표면분석모형으로서 우리는 주로 2차 모형을 사용한다. 본 논문은 우리가 반응표면분석모형으로서 2차 모형을 사용할 때 근사직교블럭화를 평가하기 위한 간단한 측도들을 제시한다.

  • As a result of vehicle maintenance of rocker arm shaft for 4-cylinder SOHC engine, failure analysis of rocker arm shaft is needed. Because more than $30\%$ of vehicles investigated have been fractured. Failure analysis is classified into an naked eyes, microscope and X-ray fractography etc. It can predict applied load as well as load type. These methods are applicable to components with simple boundary condition but aren't applicable to components with complex boundary condition. The existing fractography don't catch hold of failure boundary condition quantitatively. Especially, in case that the components isn't fractured at same position. We must determine the most dangerous failure boundary condition to evaluate their operation mechanism. The effect of various factors on response should be estimated to solve this statical problem. This study presents the most dangerous failure boundary condition of rocker arm shaft using orthogonal array and ANOVA in order to assure its robustness.

  • The asymptotics behavior orthogonal polynomials have been in the spotlight since the result of G. Szegő in 1921. In this paper we study the pointwise asymptotics inside the unit disk for orthogonal polynomials with respect to a polynomial Szegő measure with an infinite masses points.

  • In this paper, we introduce a new class of mappings called the generalized orthogonal F-Suzuki contraction for a family of multivalued mappings in the setup of orthogonal b-metric spaces. We established the existence of some common fixed point results without using any commutativity condition for this new class of mappings in orthogonal b-metric spaces. Moreover, we illustrate and support these common fixed point results with example. The results obtained in this work generalize and extend some recent and classical related results in the existing literature.

  • In this paper we give the first steps toward the study of the Harbourne-Hirschowitz condition and the anticanonical orthogonal property for regular surfaces. To do so, we consider the Kodaira dimension of the surfaces and study the cases based on the Enriques-Kodaira classification.

Theory and Design of Near-Optimal MIMO OFDM Transmission System for Correlated Multipath Rayleigh Fading Channels

  • We consider channel-coded multi-input multi-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission and obtain a condition on its signal for it to attain the maximum diversity and coding gain. As this condition may not be realizable, we propose a suboptimal design that employs an orthogonal transform and a space-frequency interleaver between the channel coder and the multi-antenna OFDM transmitter. We propose a corresponding receiving method based on block turbo equalization. Attention is paid to some detailed design of the transmitter and the receiver to curtail the computational complexity and yet deliver good performance. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed transmission technique can outperform the conventional coded MIMO OFDM and the MIMO block single-carrier transmission with cyclic prefixing.

2차원 절삭에서 FEM 해석의 유효성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of Finite Element Method in Orthogonal Cutting)

  • In general, the direct experimental approach to study machining processes is expensive and time consuming, especially when a wide range of parameters are included: tool, geometry, materials, cutting conditions, etc. The aim of this study is to verify the effectiveness of finite element method for orthogonal cutting process by comparing the simulated cutting forces with measured results. Two commercialized finite element codes $AdvantEdge^{TM}$ and Deform-$2D^{TM}$ have been used to simulate the cutting forces in orthogonal cutting process. In this paper, estimated cutting and feed force components are compared with experimental results for different two materials. As a result, it has been found that FEM simulation is effective for understanding and predicting the orthogonal cutting process although some improvements on friction model and remeshing process are needed.

  • 본 논문은 다중 송신 안테나를 사용하는 직교 주파수 분할 다중 반송파(OFDM: orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) 시스템에서 윈도윙 기법을 이용하여 송신 다이버시티 효과를 얻는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 윈도우 함수의 형태에 따라 송신 다이버시티 효과가 달라지며 송신 다이버시티를 최대화하기 위한 윈도우 함수의 조건을 제시한다. 제안된 기법은 윈도우 함수의 형태에 따라 순환 지연 다이버시티 (CDD: cyclic delay diversity) 기법, 직교 송신 다이버시티(OTD: orthogonal transmit diversity) 기법, 주파수 스위치 송신 다이버시티(FSTD: frequency switched transmit diversity) 기법을 일반화한 기법으로 해석될 수 있다.

톱밥 제조기용 3차원 절삭 헬리컬형 드럼의 개발 (Development of a Helical Type Drum with an Oblique Cutting Condition for the Sawdust Machine)

  • In order to increase the efficiency of the sawdust machine, the helical type drums with an oblique cutting condition (3D) were developed. The preexisting drums have an orthogonal cutting condition (2D) considering of a saw cutter and a wood cutting pattern. Unfortunately, the disadvantages of this type drum are the big cutting resistance, the high cost of a cutting power and the extreme occurrence of a vibration. To improve this shortcoming, the helical type drum with an oblique cutting condition was developed. Therefore, this type drum decreased the vibration and the cutting resistance of the sawdust machine, and also improved the productivity of 30% or more and the porosity of the sawdust.
