라인 드로잉에 의한 디자인 조형능력의 측정실험

  • The most remarkable and characteristic problem of design is that of creativity of design. Originality is a part of creativity. In the process of designing, we used to handle design thoughts that shows some patte군 of divergent and productive thoughts. During design thinking, for example 'Idea sketch', We also are under Pattern Recognition and Gestalt principles organization. In this study, it is reorganized that the 'Originality Test of Line Drawing(OTLD)'is a measurement system for personal originality. There is a regression on two tests of OTLD, which has 1 Semester Interval. From the regression data, Test2 = 7.763 + 0.643Test1, F value : 55.219, Prob : 0.0001. We would suggest a measurement system for an ability of originality in design fields, but we couldn't find any reliability and validity for Fine Art fields. In this point, OTLD could be a development tool for design creativity.

수학적 창의성 검사의 채점 영역별 가중치 분석 (Analysis of weights depending on scoring domains of the mathematical creativity test)

  • This study analyzes the mathematical creativity test as an illustrative example with scoring domains of fluency, flexibility and originality in order to make suggestions for obtaining maximum reliability based on a composite score depending on combinations of each scoring domain weights. This is done by performing a multivariate generalizability analysis on the test scores, which were allowed to access publicly, of 30 mathematically gifted elementary school students, and therefore error variances, generalizability coefficients, and effective weights have been calculated. The main results were as follows. First, the optimal weights should adjust to .5, .4, and .1 based on the maximum generalizability coefficient even though the original weights in the mathematical creativity test were equal for each scoring domain with fluency, flexibility and originality. Second, the mathematical creativity test using the three scoring domains of fluency, flexibility, and originality showed higher reliability than using one scoring domain such as fluency. These results are limited to the mathematical creativity test used in this study. However, the methodology applied in this study can help determine the optimal weights depending on each scoring domain when the tests constructed in various researchers or educational fields are composed of multiple scoring domains.

라인드로잉에 의한 디자인 조형의 표현성향 (A Propensity of Formative Presentation by Line Drawing)

  • 본 연구는 형태적 사고에 의한 드로잉 표현을 바탕으로 조형적 독창력의 측정과 평가에 대한 근거를 구축하기 위한 연구이다. 조형사고의 전개를 이해하기 위해 점으로 구성된 자극 화면에 의한 OTLD테스트와 EMR 궤적을 통하여 형태의 지각과 인지 과정을 연구하였다. 연구결과로서, 조형표현의 객관적 관점으로서 자극화면에 의한 라인드로잉의 연결성과 표현대상 개념의 복합성이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 추출되었다. 디자인 사고의 핵심으로 창조성은 독창성을 에워싸고 있는 상위개념이 된다. 여기에서는 그 하위개념인 독창성 테스트(OTLD)를 통하여 실험한 결과, 1차 연구 결과-일정기간 경과 후 유의 성을 가지고 희귀 성향을 보이고 있음-과 본 연구결과-연결성과 표현대상 개념의 복합성의 관련성-을 토대로 디자인 조형 력 측정의 기초 실험 모델로 설정이 가능하다고 본다. 금후 이에 대한 보완연구를 통하여 디자인 분야의 조형적 독창력 측정방법이 실용화도 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

초등 수학 평가를 위한 개방형 문제의 활용 결과 분석 (A Study on the Results of Use of Open-ended Problems for Evaluation in Elementary Mathematics)

  • Mathematics assessment doesn't mean examining in the traditional sense of written examination. Mathematics assessment has to give the various information of grade and development of students as well as teaching of teachers. To achieve this purpose of assessment, we have to search the methods of assessment. This paper is aimed to develop the open-ended problems that are the alternative to traditional test, apply them to classroom and analyze the result of assessment. 4-types open-ended problems are developed by criteria of development. It is open process problem, open result problem, problem posing problem, open decision problem. 6 grade elementary students who are picked in 2 schools participated in assessment using open-ended problems. Scoring depends on the fluency, flexibility, originality The result are as follows; The rate of fluency is 2.14, The rate of flexibility is 1.30, and The rate of originality is 0.11 Furthermore, the rate of originality is very low. Problem posing problem is the highest in the flexibility and open result problem is the highest in the flexibility. Between general mathematical problem solving ability and fluency, flexibility have the positive correlation. And Pearson correlational coefficient of between general mathematical problem solving ability and fluency is 0.437 and that of between general mathematical problem solving ability and flexibility is 0.573. So I conclude that open ended problems are useful and effective in mathematics assessment.

플레어 팬츠의 바지부리 폭과 허리선 위치의 변화에 따른 시각적 평가 (A Study on the Visual Evaluation According to Changes in Width of Hem Line and Waistline Position of Flare Pants)

  • The purpose of this study is to recognize the differences of visual evaluation by variations in width of hem line and waistline position of the flare pants. The stimuli are 9 samples: One control group, 3 variations of the width of hem line and 3 variations of the waistline position. The data has been obtained from 44 fashion students. The data has been analyzed by Factor Analysis, Anova, Scheffe's Test and the MCA method. The results of the study are as follows: The visual evaluation by the width of hem line and waistline position of flare pants are composed of 5 factors : physical characteristics, elegance, originality, comfort, and stiffness. Among these factors, the physical characteristic is evaluated to be the most important factor. As a v isual evaluation result o f changes in the width o f hern l ine, 8 4 cm in width (the narrowest width) was highly evaluated in physical characteristics, elegance, and originality factors. For the result of changes in the waistline position, high-waisted flare pants were highly effective in physical characteristics, and also evaluated well in elegance, originality and stiffness factors. The flare pants did not show any interaction between the width of hem line and waistline position. The waistline position had more influence on visual evaluation in physical characteristics, originality and comfort factors while elegance and stiffness factors were affected by the width of hem line.

미술 작품 감상 활동이 유아의 창의성 발달에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Art Appreciation on the Development of Children's Creativity)

  • In this investigation of the effect of art appreciation on children's creativity, art appreciation activities were provided for 20 five-year-old kindergarten children over an 8-week period. Data collected with the use of the General Creativity Test for Children(Chon, 1995) were analyzed by t-test, ANCOVA and regression. Analyses revealed that the experimental group with the art appreciation activities developed a higher level of creativity on all scales of creativity, including originality, fluency, flexibility, and imagination and in all areas of physical, linguistic, and diagrammatic creativity. Boys were more creative than girls in imagination, originality and physical creativity.

여성의 라이프스타일 유형에 따른 성형요구도: 울산지역을 중심으로 (A study on the interest of cosmetic surgery by women's lifestyles: in Ulsan area)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the co-relation with the types of lifestyle and interest of cosmetic surgery. The data were collected from 500 womens in Ulsan area. Frequencies, Cronbach's alpha, K-means Cluster analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA and MCA were conducted by SPSS win 12.0k program. The results from this study were as follows: First, the types of women's lifestyles in Ulsan were divided with 4 groups such as the active leader, the display of originality, the loss of enthusiasm, and the prudent housekeeper. Second, interest of cosmetic surgery shows the difference in age and married or not. Interest of young single women was highest. Third, the display of originality group was highest in interest of cosmetic surgery among 4 groups. And the next was the active leader group. fourth, influences to the interest of cosmetic surgery was decreased both in age and lifestyle groups after excluding all the other variation factors. However, the interest was high in the 20th aged women and the display of originality group.

와이드 팬츠의 실루엣 변화에 따른 시각적 평가 (A Study on the Visual Evaluation According to Changes in Silhouette of Wide Pants)

  • The purpose of this study is to recognize the differences of visual evaluation by variations in silhouette of the wide pants. The stimuli are 9 samples: One control group, 3 variations of the width of hem line and 3 variations of the silhouette. The data has been obtained from 57 fashion college students. The data has been analyzed by Factor Analysis, Anova, Scheffe's Test. The results of the study are as follows: The visual evaluation by silhouette of wide pants are composed of 5 factors(i.e., physical characteristics, complexity, attractiveness, originality, and stiffness and softness). Among these factors, the physical characteristic is evaluated to be the most important factor. The straight pants were the most attractive and modern when the width of the hem line was 66cm (1st stage), while the pants were uncomfortable and unwearable when the width of the hem line was 98cm (3rd stage). The bell-bottom pants were evaluated to be the most attractive with the average width of the hem line. When the width of the hem line of the flare pants were too wide, it was uncomfortable and unwearable but had its unique originality. When the width of the hem line was narrow, the visual image changed as the pants' silhouette varied. However, when the width of the hem line was wide, the visual image did not change by silhouette.

지구과학 창의성 검사지 개발 (A Development of the Test of Creativity Level for Earth Science Field)

  • In the present study I developed the test for earth scientific creativity level and verified means to measure scientific creativity. I developed 22 test items and after being examined by science education specialist, 11 items were finally established, and these were applied to 104 middle students. Each answer paper was graded according to the standard answer that I developed and the results of analysis are as follows. First, to verify the validity of measuring means I figured out content validity. The content validity about test items and adequacy of evaluation goal was examined by 1 science education specialist and 3 middle school science teachers, 6 education graduate students. As a result of validity verification, the content validity was 82.7% and it showed that the test of earth scientific creativity was valid for evaluation goal and sub-factors of creativity. Second, to verify reliability of measuring means, I analyzed internal consistency of the test sheet of earth scientific creativity after finding correlation coefficient and Cronbach's $\alpha$. Cronbach's $\alpha$, the internal reliability coefficient, was 0.848. Therefore, it was verified that this test sheet of earth scientific creativity is reliable to measure the creativity of the middle school students. The correlation between sub-factors of creativity was statistically significant, and for the relation between the variables related to creativity, the originality was the most significant. This shows that in the procedure of scientific creativity and studying science, originality should be the most important factor.

중.고등학교 교복에 대한 교사들의 태도 (Teachers’Attitudes toward the Middle and High School Student Uniform)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the teachers’attitudes toward the middle and high school student uniform. The questionnaire included independent variables about teacher themselves and school surroundings, and questions about teachers’attitudes toward school uniform. The participants were 316 middle and high school teachers in Chonbuk province. Means, standard deviations, frequencies, and percentages were calculated. ANOVA test was used for differences and scheffe-test was followed. The results were: 1. Teachers were content with “Students in uniform are upright and look more studentlkie.”“It’s easy to supervise students outdoors.”, and “There’s few efficiencies in coping with the temperature alternating.”, “Students in uniform hardly can reveal their originality.”and “It’s inconvenient for the students to be dynamic in uniform.” 2. Teachers in high schools and in private schools showed more positive attitudes toward uniform. And the male teachers, teachers graduated from general college, married teachers, and teachers who have a career of more than 20 years showed more positive attitudes toward uniform. More variables concerned about teacher themselves showed more significant differences than those about school surroundings. 3. Most of teachers showed positive attitudes toward uniform. The rank order of the reasons for the teacher’s positive attitudes were “Students in uniform are upright and look more studentlike.”, “It’s easy to supervise students outdoors.”, and “There’s no noticible distinction between the rich and the poor students.”The rank order of the reason for the teachers’negative at titudes were “Student in uniform could hardly reveal their originality.”, “It’s inconvenient for the student to be dynamic in uniform.”, and ”As they have to get the street clothes besides, economic burden becomes double in reality.”4. More than half of the teachers who are working at schools with uniform showed positive attitudes toward uniform. The rank order of reasons for the teachers’positive attitudes were “Students in uniform are upright and look more studentlike.”,“It’s easy to supervise students outdoors.”and “Economic burden could be decreased.”“The rank order of the reasons for the negative attitudes were “It’s inconvenient for the student to be dynamic in uniform.”, “Students in uniform could hardly reveal their originality.”, and “Students cannot feel free in mind with uniform.”5. Teachers overall showed positive attitudes toward uniform whether they work ar schools with uniform or without it.
