임무형 지휘가 조직 효과성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 조직문화의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (The Effect of Mission-oriented Command on Organizational Effectiveness)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the relationship between mission-oriented Command, organization efficiency, organization culture of 626 field officers in JFMU. Firstly. the study found that decision making in the relationship between mission-oriented command and organization efficiency had negative effect on job satisfaction. Planning and trust lead to positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment and no significance in self decision. Secondly, mission-oriented command may differ depending on the types of organization culture and organization culture has positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Thirdly, mission-oriented command has some effect which derives from its impact on organization efficiency that also effects rational culture and rank hierarchy culture. These study results suggest different measures in terms of practice and policy. Firstly. within the military organization, precise communication will lead to job satisfaction without unnecessary overload of communication. Also. we have rationale culture, agreement culture and rank hierarchy culture forming our organization culture. There is a need to apply elements of mission-oriented command depending on the types of organization culture. Secondly, to maximize organization performance through mission-oriented command, we have to strengthen the rationale and rank hierarchy cultures and especially introduce development culture which should be established within the military organization.

한국과 일본병원의 미션선언문 비교연구 - 한국의 상급종합병원과 일본의 특정기능병원을 중심으로- (A study of Mission statements for strategic management - Focusing on the tertiary care hospitals in korea and special functioning hospitals in Japan-)

  • This study investigated contents of mission statements for Strategic Management of hospitals in Korea and Japan. For the study, 44 tertiary care hospitals in korea, which were accredited by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, were selected. And 83 special functioning hospitals in Japan, which were approved by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, were included. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted by classifying 5 components of the mission statement; market, service, philosophy, image, contribution. Findings from this study are as follow. First, hospitals in Korea emphasized image(93.2%) and philosophy(81.8%) components in their mission statements, whereas hospitals in Japan highlighted components of service(89.2%) and market(72.3%). In detail, mission statements of Korean tertiary care hospitals describe the components of hospital's image (93.2%), philosophy(81.8%), contribution(56.8%), market(22.7%) and service (18.2%) in order. On the other hand, mission statements of Japanese special functioning hospitals describe hospital's service(89.2%), market(72.3%), contribution(61.4%), image (49.4%) and philosophy(34.9%), respectively. Second, as results of Content analysis, there were some differences in mission statements of hospitals between two countries, and it is mainly from the divergences of standards for recognition of medical institutions, environmental factors, and different ways of mission statement description. For strategic hospital management, carrying out innovative restructuring organization or promoting of research and training for medical development is considered as a desirable approach. However, clear description of mission statement is more important and it is required for effective control and managing organization. And then the mission should be communicated within an organization so all internal members understand it and put their efforts to achieve the mission of organization. In conclusion, it is recommended that a leader and senior managers should re-evaluate its mission statement whether it reflects characteristics of an organization. In addition, a mission statement should be created or improved based on critical decision, as well as it should be clearly shared within an organization in order to become a future oriented organizations.

A Study on Selection of Core Services for Deciding ISMS Scope

  • The first thing to be prioritized is to set the scope of the management system when establishing an information security management system for systematic and effective information security management. It is important to set the scope for an organization's information security goals due to the scope affects the organization's overall information security activities. If the scope is set incorrectly, it might become impossible to protect important services and therefore, the scope of the management system should be determined in consideration of the core business services of the organization. We propose a core service selection model based on the organization's mission-critical service and high risk service in order to determine the effective information security management system scope in this paper. Core service selection criteria include the type of service, contribution to sales, socio-economic impact, and linkage with other services.

도서관기획에 있어서 목표실현에 관한 일 고찰 (A Study on the Library Planning to Objectives)

  • The library as nonprofit organization is required to have micro-planning for the organization itself and macro-planning for the relationship of the organization and its environment. Both the micro and macro planning are rational and effective means to library objectives. The library planning must be based on clearly formulated objectives that will encourage all parts of the organization to work toward the same goal and mission. The planning to library objectives should make programming. which should make processing. The mission here should precede goal. which should precede objectives and objectives should precede activities in planning. There is an integral relationship among them. Just as the objectives of the library may be thought of in a hierarchy such as the above. so the library planning must be based on such a hierarchy from strategic or long range planning to administrative planning, from administrative planning to operational planning or short range ones.

국내 의료기관의 사명진술문과 조직성과 분석 (Analysis of Mission Statements and Organizational Performance of Hospitals in South Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to examine mission statements and their elements and to investigate correlations between mission statements and organizational performance. Methods: The current research was a descriptive study based on the examination of mission statements of 353 hospitals that posted mission statements on their webpage and 92 hospitals that made their income statements public. Results: The most common mission element was 'identification of principal services', which accounted for 92.6%. Mission statements of hospitals included the average of 4.82 mission elements out of 9, and the objective of medical quality improvement was 0.81 among 6 objectives of IOM (Institute of Medicine). Net profit of hospitals with mission statements that have above average number of mission elements were significantly higher (t=2.71, p=.008) than those of other hospitals. Net profit was significantly correlated with mission statements (r=.26, p<.001), and mission elements (r=.29, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of the study empirically reveal that mission statements in the hospital affect organizational performance. That is, better organizational performance is shown for hospitals with better, more diversified, and more firmly stated mission statements which include identification of target customers, identification of principal services, contribution to society as a non-profit organization, and concern for employees.

위성 임무운영팀 동향 (The Trend of Satellite Mission Operations Team)

  • 위성의 임무운영팀 조직은 운영되는 위성의 개수,탑재체 운영지원의 여부,임무운영센터 내에서의 안테나 운영 여부, 지상시스템 자동화 정도 및 임무운영에 대한 기술지원 기능 여부에 따라서 다양한 구성이 존재할 수 있다. 위성운영 업무를 담당하는 운영조직의 구성이나 기능은 임무운영의 복잡도에 따라 약간씩 차이가 있으나 대부분의 위성운영센터는 단일 또는 복합 임무운영 지원을 위해 유사한 조직 구성을 갖는다. 항우연 임무운영센터는 아리랑위성1호 발사(1999년 12월 21일)이후 임무운영팀의 업무를 시작한 이래, 아리랑 위성 2호, 아리랑위성 3호와 5호 및 통신해양기상위성에 대한 다중임무운영의 개념으로 진화하고 있다. 본 동향에서는 본격적인 다중임무운영에 앞서 체계적인 임무운영센터의 조직을 구성하고자 해외 선진 임무운영 개념에 대한 권고사항과 실제 적용되고 있는 사례를 살펴본 후, 항우연 임무운영센터의 현재 현황과 비교분석함으로써 조직 운영의 적합성과 향후 발전방향에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다.

국내 수산관련 기업의 주요 경영철학에 대한 내용분석 - 상장사의 미션과 비전을 중심으로 (Contents Analysis of Management Philosophy - focus on Mission and Vision of Fisheries Business)

  • The foundation of any association or organization should include a mission, a vision, and strategic goals. Vision and mission are frequently discussed in academic and practitioner literature and accepted as key items in strategic decisions. But in these days, the words"change and crisis"are what companies are familiar with. They bringing about uncertainty led the companies to search for new strategies in order to specify their directions. In case of making proper direction for some organization, the role of management philosophy is most important. And also identifying, clarifying and communicating the management philosophy is now a major part of the planning process. This study examines the characteristics of management philosophy items which including mission and vision in Korean fisheries business with contents analysis. in order to achieve these purpose, this research analysing the mission, vision and CEO's greeting with the social network analysis(SNA) which is the most dominant technique in contents analysis. The SNA is evaluated that most popular, rigorous and firm methodology for analyzing, examining and revising some concepts or objects in the context of semantics. The findings of social network analysis show that some critical problems are existed. First, most of the fisheries company did not fully announce the mission and vision irrespective of one's size or scale. Second, there is some coverage insufficiency of stakeholders in mission and vision. And cutting edge topics like environmental problem, corporate social responsibility, consumer sovereignty are not included in management philosophy.

사회복지관의 조직 사명문 분석 (Analysis of Mission Statement of Social Welfare Centers)

  • 전국 사회복지관의 조직 사명문을 분석함으로써 조직의 정체성과 가치에 대해 실제적 이해를 도모하고자 하였다. 조직 사명문에 나타난 사회복지관의 표적성, 방향 및 전략, 이미지에 대해서 분석하기 위해서 전국 385곳의 사회복지관의 조직 사명문을 수집하였다. 분석은 NVivo 10 프로그램을 활용하였다. 전체 수집된 단어수는 1,401개였으며, 조직의 표적성에 해당되는 대상 448개(32.0%)의 단어, 문제 51개(3.6%)의 단어, 방향성에 해당되는 단어 118개(8.4%), 전략에 해당되는 단어 545개(38.9%), 이미지에 해당되는 단어 239개(17.1%)였다. 구체적으로 표적성에 해당되는 대상은 지역주민, 지역사회, 공동체가 높게 나타났고, 문제는 지역문제, 빈곤, 소외였다. 전략성에 해당되는 방향성은 복지공동체/마을, 사회복지, 역량강화가 높게 나타났고, 전략은 형성/구축, 나눔/섬김, 개선(발)/발전/향상이었다. 조직사명문에 나타난 이미지는 복지관, 우리, 전문기관, 이웃 순이었다. 이번 사회복지관의 조직 사명문을 분석함으로써 사회복지관은 '지역성'을 기반으로 설립된 기관으로서의 정체성을 명확히 보여주었다. 표적으로 삼은 문제와 대상, 방향성 모두 지역사회와 관련한 단어들의 분포가 단연 높게 나타났다. 본 연구에서 사회복지관의 조직사명문의 구성요소 및 특성만을 분석하였는데, 조직 사명문이 조직의 성과와 실제 어떠한 관련성을 가지고 있는지에 대한 분석은 실시하지 못한 한계를 가지고 있으며, 이에 대한 보완은 추후 연구에서 발전되기를 제안한다.

학력 및 직급에 따른 보건소 조직에 관한 인식도 조사 (A Study on Awareness of Organization of Public Health Center based on Educational Background and Position)

  • 본 연구에서는 보건소 근무자들의 학력 및 직급에 따른 보건소 조직에 관한 인식도를 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 보건소의 효율적인 운영 및 직원들의 근무환경 개선을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 조사결과 학력에 따른 직원들의 보건소 조직에 대한 인식은 설문 문항 중 "조직에는 승진을 위한 기회가 존재 한다" 및 "내가 속한 단위조직의 구조는 잘 설계되어 있다"가 가장 높은 점수를 나타내었다. 반면 직급에 따른 직원들의 보건소 조직에 대한 인식은 설문 문항 중 "조직을 하나로 묶는 적절한 방편이 있다"와 "성취된 일들은 보상과 연결되어 있다" 및 "내가 받는 봉급은 수행하고 있는 업무에 상응 한다"가 가장 높은 점수를 나타내었다.

대학생기독교선교회 시니어간사의 경력전환 경험 탐색 (Exploring the Meanings of Career Transition Experience of Senior Stewards of the Campus Crusade for Christ)

  • 본 연구는 세속 직업에 종사하다가 대학생 선교단체 간사로 경력을 전환한 대학생 선교단체 간사의 경력전환 과정과 경험을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 한국대학생선교회(CCC)에 소속되어 있는 시니어간사 5명을 인터뷰하여 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생 기독선교회 시니어 간사의 경력전환 동기는 소명의식과 유관함을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 경력전환 과정에서 새로운 환경에 대한 적응과 주위로 부터의 격려와 지지를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 간사의 경력전환의 의미는 하고자 했던 일을 다시 찾게 됨과 약속지킴, 특별하고 영광스러운 삶인 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 선교단체 간사의 소명실행은 소명확인의 단계가 필수적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 선교단체 간사의 소명실행은 주위 지지자들이 있을 때 더욱 지속됨을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 선교단체 간사의 경력전환경험이 갖는 의미는 소명을 따라가는 삶에 있음을 알 수 있었다.
