  • The purpose of this study is to construct technology product concept a deployment model on seeds type R&D projects. For this purpose, we have peformed the following studies : First, technology opportunities and market opportunities through ${\ulcorner}$perception analysis${\lrcorner}$ are captured by perceptional structure of technology experts and customers on the existing technologies and products. Second, the optimal technology product concept deployed by ${\ulcorner}$SAT(System Alternatives Tree)${\lrcorner}$ has been constructed by the ${\ulcorner}$PWBS(Project work Breakdown structure)${\lrcorner}$.

  • In recent years the hatchcoverless(or open-top) containerships have been evolving as a promising new concept for enhanced containership operations. The design concept of the hatchcoverless containership is innovative and appears to be worthwhile. especially from an operational viewpoint. The hatchcover and container lashing system have been eliminated and the containers are stacked in open hold fitted with cell guides. Thus this design concept can provide a more efficient and economically viable fleet due to the reduced time and cost of loading and unloading operations. Therefore turnaround time in port is also greatly reduced. This examination provides. brief background, advantages, brief review of new building containership, highlights of the pertinent areas requiring special consideration and recommendations of possible analyses herein.

  • In this paper, we introduce a concept of (H)-property which generalize that of increasing(decreasing) property of binary operation. We also treat some works related to operations on fuzzy numbers and generalize earlier results of Kawaguchi and Da-te(1994).

  • This paper tries to show that LOB, a graphic device, can be equipped with the vector concept. The notations, calculations, and relationships of useful vectors are introduced and the general procedure for Vector Analysis of LOB is applied in this paper. Comparing vector analysis with graphical method, the author concludes that the former is more powerful than the latter in production control.

  • The research and development trend of Trajectory-based Operations(TBO), which is considered as a key concept of future Air Traffic Management(ATM), is presented in this paper. The operational concepts of TBO in ASBU(Aviation System Block Upgrade) from ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization) have been summarized, and the detailed operational concepts and procedures, which can be realized in the near future, are described through the investigations of operational concept development and related research/development activities of TBO in USA and Europe. The technical enablers, which have been identified based on understanding of TBO operational concepts, are introduced, and related research/development status of each technical enabler has been presented.

  • The objective of this paper is to develop a model to integrate process planning and resource planning through analysis of the machine tool selection and operations sequencing problem. The model is formulated as a travelling salesman problem with precedence relations. To solve our model, we also propose an efficient genetic algorithm based on topological sort concept.

  • In order to provide a manufacturing system with efficiency and flexibility to cope with the changes in shop floor status, the integration of process planning and operations scheduling is required. In this paper,an integrated system of process planning and operations scheduling based on the concept of process net model is presented. The process net model includes the alternative process plans. The integrated system is applied for prismatic parts.

  • Clones are sets of operations which are closed under composition and contain all projections. Identities of clones of term operations of a given algebra correspond to hyperidentities of this algebra, i.e., to identities which are satisfied after any replacements of fundamental operations by derived operations ([7]). If any identity of an algebra is satisfied as a hyperidentity, the algebra is called solid ([3]). Solid algebras correspond to free clones. These connections will be extended to so-called generalized clones, to strong hyperidentities and to strongly solid varieties. On the basis of a generalized superposition operation for terms we generalize the concept of a unitary Menger algebra of finite rank ([6]) to unitary Menger algebras with infinitely many nullary operations and prove that strong hyperidentities correspond to identities in free unitary Menger algebras with infinitely many nullary operations.
