  • The equipment composed of many complicated electronic stuffs undergoes diverse stresses caused by mechanical vibrations during its service. Thus, to ensure its proper operation in the field a simulated vibration test has to be carried out in the laboratory with the Vibration Qualification Level, the test specification, which can include the real environment. In this paper we intent to deal with method and procedure for determining the Vibration Qualification Level so as to estimate the vibration-endurance for the equipment precisely.

  • The operation of heavy tracked vehicle has the problems in the steering that made by misoperations. The protection device is applied to the vehicles. But that device is applied to the vehicles. But that device has the engine stop and over load condition problems. the steering safety system is developed on the basis of clutch slip that proved the durability in the dynamo test and field test. The steering safety system caused the performance improvement of vehicles when steering.

  • In this study, response time index(RTI) of standard and quick response type sprinkler head are measured and compared through ramp and plunge test in heated wind tunnel. Also discharge rate and water distribution, actual delivered density(ADD), fire test with wood cribs are performed to compare the fire suppression capability and the operation time and temperature between standard and quick response type sprinkler head.

  • In this paper, RF receiver for CDMA system which has 10 MHz in the channel bandwidth has been designed and fabricated. The designed and fabricated RF receiver is shown useful in operation and the performance has been confirmed by experiments. The results are to be used for establishment of a broadband CDMA wireless access specification standard for WLL system in 2.3 GHz band.

  • Step-by-step laboratory performance test and repetitive improvement of KRRI rail fastening system show that it has the similar capability as other fastening systems that have been globally used. In this study, for the evaluation of field applicability, construction and rolling-stock operation test of KRRI rail fastening system are performed. Through this approach, comparison against the service criteria of foreign countries are made.

  • For the life estimation of CCFLs in edge-lit LCD modules has been required CCFL blackening test, which is executed in the state of low current and long-time operation under the high temperature condition. We investigated the reason why CCFL blackening happened more easily in the above test conditions and the way how mechanical parts had influence upon CCFL blackening in the edge-lit LCD modules.

  • Fault simulation is often necessary to determine the fault coverage of a given test, that is, to find all the faults detected by test. In this paper we implement a deductive fault simulation using counting method. Counting method uses f$\sub$i/ of fault table and Search list to compute set operation. f$\sub$i/ was counted by fault list of input gate. And we propagate fault list from primary inputs toward primary output by comparing with controling sum. It improved performance by reducing search of faults.

  • The main objective of the study is to provide the criteria for determining the proper life cycle of rebuiled diesel-electric locomotive currently being operated in KNR. We predicted the most critical sections of the underframes and tested the diesel-electric locomotive vehicle to measure dynamic stresses applied to the underframes. The fileld test of the diesel-electric locomotive estimated 17.08years based on the fatigue-life estimation when they are continuously used in the present operation condition.

  • In this paper, we designed a Circular Path Built-In Self Test circuit and embedded it into a simple 8-bit microprocessor. Register cells of the microprocessor have been modified into Circular Path register cells and each register cells have been connected to form a scan chain. A BIST controller has been designed for controlling BIST operations and its operation has been verified through simulation. The BIST circuit described in this paper has increased size overhead of the microprocessor by 29.8% and delay time in the longest delay path from clock input to output by 2.9㎱.

  • The Purpose of this study is analysis of kinematic for a modified manipulator and experimental test to certify auto-balancing operation. The test is carried out as follows. First, we solve the inverse kinematics and then do a closed loop control. Second we confirm translation displacement and rotation angle of a manipulator.
