  • Electro mechanical type protective relay have an influence on the characteristics of the operation due to the change of coil impedance in accordance with the change of the temperature. We found out through an electrical test how many characteric changes are made when we change the temperature according to the types of protective relay. The result is that the protective relay operated by vactor is influenced by temperature.

  • The paper deals with the control of the synchronous reluctance machine without position senser. A method for the computation of the transformation angle out of terminal voltages and currents is presented. The injection of test signals allows operation at zero speed. Fundamental for this control scheme is the angle estimation method over the whole operating range including field-weakening is discussed in detail. The implementation of the angle estimation method in a rotor-oriented control scheme and practical results are demonstrated.

  • In this paper, the design and performance characteristics of a 3 kW class transformerless photovoltaic inverter was introduced. The field test results of the photovoltaic power inverter showed that the excellence of power quality, the characteristic of starting waveform, the stability and reliability of operation.

  • In this study, We developed the microprocessor based controller for Auto Section Switch(ASS). This is installed at consumer's medium-high voltage(load capacity is below 4,000 kVA) switchgear. This function is cooperate with protection device of fault section and automatically dividing the section. And It is designed by Air putter type extinction structure and adopt the mechanism and breaking part module of existing Load Breaker Switch. In addition, We successfully conducted the operation test and checked main function of proto-type.

  • SART(Search and Rescue Radar Transponder) is a radar transponder capable of operating in the 9GHz band, which is one element of GMDSS. The fundamental function of the SART is to indicate its position. Thus, it is so much available to assist SAR operation when an emergency and casualty occur at any sea area. In the thesis, we designed, manufactured each part of circuit to develop the advanced SART and configured to test the characteristics in many ways. As the result of detailed things, we confirmed that the developed SART could be high possibility of production.

  • We, previously, proved that the noise in the vertical readback from some of beam position monitors (BPMs) in the vacuum chamber of Pohang Light Source (PLS) are caused by the transverse electric (TE) longitudinal harmonic resonances. Based on this analysis, we now design the shunt structure to remove the TE mode resonces near the BPMs operation frequency of 500 MHz in the storage ring vacuum chamber of PLS upgrade project (PLS-II). The simulation result and experimental test result will be presented.

The accuracy of the angle estimation method over the whole operating range including field-weakening is discussed in detail. The implementation of the angle estimation method in a rotor-oriented control scheme and practical results are demonstrated.

  • 초저온 액화 공정 플랜트의 정상 운전시 제어 로직을 사전에 점검할 수 있는 테스트 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 초저온 액화 공정 플랜트상의 주요 제어 대상 포안트 17 개를 선정하여 PID 및 cascade 제어 알고리즘을 구현하였으며 이를 시뮬레이터에 연결하여 제어 로직 계산 결과를 테스트하였다. 시뮬레이터에서는 제어시스템의 제어 로직에 대한 동적 반응 특성을 계산하여 제시함으로써 제어시스템의 제어 로직을 사전에 분석, 점검할 수 있도록 역할을 수행한다.
