Dynamic characteristics of a tractor cabin during plow tillage and rotary tillage

  • Due to the environment of irregular soil characteristic for agricultural fields, dynamic characteristic occurs in the tractor cabin during agricultural operations. Operator's fatigue is increased, and operation performance is decreased by these irregular environment conditions. This study was conducted to measure and analyze the dynamic characteristic of a tractor cabin, a major agriculture machinery, during agricultural operations. The specification of tractor used in the study was a 95 kW class tractor. To analyze the dynamic characteristics of the tractor cabin, the main agricultural operations, plow tillage and rotary tillage, were selected. To measure data of dynamic characteristic of the cabin, which continuously changes during operations, an Ellipse Series INS (inertia navigation system) with a built-in IMU (inertia measurement unit) was attached to the center of gravity of the cabin. During field test, the gear stages of plow tillage were B4 (4.3 km·h-1) and B5 (5.6 km·h-1), and the gear stages of rotary tillage were A3 (3.3 km·h-1) and A4 (4.2 km·h-1), which are the most commonly used. To analyze dynamic characteristic such as roll and pitch during operations according to the gear stages. As a result, the dynamic characteristics of pitch increased more than the dynamic characteristics of roll as the travel speed increased, and the dynamic characteristics of both agricultural operations were in the range of 2 to 5°.

  • This paper analysed the characteristic of Power consumption at many type of Inverter controlled Elevator. Especially, this paper proposed the standard value of full load currents. For this propose, it was classified by the passenger capacity and manufacture company. As a result, it is found that (i) the value is between -3[A] and 7[A] in case of elevator. That means the full load currents was smaller than the standard value of conventional operation type (ii) the value is between 0.5[kVA] and 3[kVA] in case of Power transformer. That means the transformer capacity was smaller than the standard value of conventional operation type. it was classified by the passenger capacity at inverter controlled elevator in apartment Also, to guarantee the operation stop of inverter controlled elevator, this paper proposed the redundancy method of electrical installations. the redundancy method is (i) 2 line service system and (ii) 2 distribution line system.

  • In this paper, the Interleaved AC/DC boost converter using two inductor with voltage-doubler characteristic when it operates with a duty cycle greater than 0.5 is proposed. Generally, the low-line(Input AC 110[V]) operation of the AC/DC boost converter is much less efficient than high-line (Input AC 220[V]) operation. The proposed Interleaved AC/DC boost converter operates as a voltage doubler at low-line. Its low-line range have higher power factor and improved efficiency compared with that of conventional converter. This research proposed the Interleaved AC/DC boost converter for voltage-doubler characteristic. The principle of operation, feature and design considerations is illustrated and the validity of verified through the experiment with a 300[W] based experimental circuit.

  • One of the most important object in youth employment academy is to resolve the job mismatch of youth unemployment through industry oriented human resource development for which company oriented capacity building program for graduate-to-be and graduate is supported. The major characteristic of this program is to compose a network of operation organization, involved company, involved university and trainee, among those the role of operation organization is most important. The operation organization in youth employment academy is supposed to be evaluated by the last employment rate after 6 months to the day following the programs of the year completion. So performance indicator for the operation organization is needed in selecting the operation organization of the next year youth employment academy, which means a kind of mid-term evaluation. In this research, the concept of development of performance indicator for the operation organization in youth employment academy is introduced and major performance indicator are suggested.

  • This study examines the transitional situation that can be seen from the palace operation in early Joseon Dynasty. The first decades of Joseon after the nation was founded differ from the Joseon Dynasty as a whole, but rather similar with the Goryeo Dynasty. By examining "The History of Goryeo(高麗史)," it showed that palace operation during the Goryeo Dynasy was marked by the fact that a separate palace was built and resided in despite the existence of the Bongweol(本闕, main palace) as the central palace. The separation of the parent's generation and the children's generation was shown through the establishment of one's own palace. Such trait of Goryeo affected palace construction directly after the founding of Joseon. This can be shown from the characteristic of palace operation by generation. The construction of the Changdeokgung Palace(昌德宮) of King Taejong, as his own palace, is an example. Afterwards, the palace system of Joseon was established, and the space of the king and the crown prince was merged through ritual reform during the reign of King Sejong. However, the space for the parents of the king were considered separate, and this influence continued to the reign of King Seongjong. The construction of Changgyeonggung Palace(昌慶宮) during the reign of King Seongjong is an event where the king proclaimed the separation with his mother and grandmother.

  • In order to maintain customer voltages within the allowable limit($220{\pm}13V$) as much as possible, tap operation strategy of SVR(Step Voltage Regulator) which is located in primary feeder, is widely used for voltage control in the utilities. However, SVR in nature has operation characteristic of the delay time ranging from 30 to 150 sec, and then the compensation of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) during the delay time is being required because the customer voltages in distribution system may violate the allowable limit during the delay time of SVR. Furthermore, interconnection of PV(Photovoltaic) system could make a difficultly to keep customer voltage within the allowable limit. Therefore, this paper presents an optimal coordination operation algorithm between BESS and SVR based on a conventional LDC (Line Drop Compensation) method which is decided by stochastic approach. Through the modeling of SVR and BESS using the PSCAD/EMTDC, it is confirmed that customer voltages in distribution system can be maintained within the allowable limit.

  • As the KOMPSAT-1 satellite can roll tilt up to $\pm$45$^{\circ}$, we have analyzed some EOC images taken at different tilt angles fur this study. The required ground coordinates for bundle adjustment and geometric accuracy, are read from the digital map produced by the National Geography Institution, at a scale of 1:5, 000. These are the steps taken for the tilting angle of KOMPSAT-1 satellite to be present in the evaluation of the accuracy of the geometric of each different stereo image data: Firstly, as the tilting angle is different in each image, the satellite dynamic characteristic must be determined by the sensor modeling. Then the best sensor modeling equation is determined. The result of this research, the difference between the RMSE values of individual stereo images is due more the quality of image and ground coordinates than to the tilt angle. The bundle adjustment using three KOMPSAT-1 stereo pairs, first degree of polynomials for modeling the satellite position were sufficient.

  • A Complete transposition of the great arteries combined with V.S.D, A.S.D, dextrocardia, and P.S is a rare congenital anomaly. The patient was a 10 year-old female whose complaints were frequent URI, exertional dyspnea, and cyanosis at rest since birth. Cheat X-ray films showed Dextrocardia ; situs inversus, moderate cardiomegaly, and Characteristic egg-shape heart shadow. E.K.G, Echocardiography, Cardiac Catheterization, and Angio-Cardiography were performed. Open heart Surgery was done under diagnosis of d-TGA, Dextrocardia, V.S.D, A.S.D, and P.S. At the time of Operation, Dextroeardia, T.G.A, Secndum type A.S.D, A.S.D, and P.S. At the time of Operation, Dextroeardia, T.G.A, Secndum type A.S.D. ($2.0{\times}2.0cm$. in diameter), V.S.D. type II ($1.5cm{\times}1.5cm$ in diameter), and pulmonary valvular stenosis were noted. Mustard operation using pericardial Baffle in the atrium for T.G.A. was perforsned. Teflon patch graft for closure of V.S.D. through tricuspid orifice and pulmonary Valvulotomy through pulmonary arteriotomy were performed. The post-op, low cardiac output Syndrome and dysrhythmicawere developed till Postoperative day #7, so that was controlled by inotropic and antiarrhythmic agents. After that, patient's conditions were Uneventful.

  • In this paper, a circulating current reduction approach for the parallel operation of fuelcell systems with Z-source inverters is investigated. The carrier phase shifted SPWM(Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) is used as a modulation method since it has an advantage in reducing output current harmonics. However, when this technique is applied to the parallel operation of Z-source inverters, it additionally produces circulating currents. A coupled circulating current reactor is used to reduce circulating current generated by the parallel operation of Z-source inverters and to reduce output current harmonics. The proposed circulating current reduction approach using coupled circulating current reactors is verified through simulation and experiment.

  • This paper establishes a coding method system including the liberation and size distribution of recycling materials in the shredder operation. Every particle in the shredded product becomes a code number using the liberation model and size distribution equation transforming of weight percentage into particles number percentage. One set of database can be obtained after all particles have been coded. This database is suitable for the size reduction operation in the process simulation of waste recycling. Coupling with the developed air classification, sizing and separating operations, the whole process simulation will be completely established for diversified application. A typical simulation for the rolling cutting shredder product of waste TV had been demonstrated under this coding system. The breakage size distribution of Gaudin and Schumann equation were selected for the shredding operation simulation. The Gaudin's liberation model was suitable fur the liberation simulation. Both of these equations were transformed weight percentage into particles distribution for the necessary of particle coding method. A better recycling operation for this shredded solid waste can be concluded from the comparison of simulation results with their sorted grade, recovery or economic of materials in different processes.
