  • CFD analysis is an analytical technique that applies a computer to the design and development of products across the entire industry for heat or fluid flow. This technology is used to shorten the development period and reduce costs through computerized simulation. However, the software used for CFD analysis is now required to use expensive foreign software. The Opensource CFD analysis software used in the proposed system has reliability of commercial CFD analysis software and has various user groups. However, for users who have expert knowledge, Opensource CFD software which supports only text interface environment, We have developed an environment that enables the construction of a CFD analysis environment for beginners as well as professionals. In addition, the proposed system supports the pre-processing (design and meshing) environment for CFD analysis and the environment for post-processing (result analysis & visualization), enabling the integrated CFD analysis process in one platform.

  • In order to take rapid action against malware, efficiency in malware analysis is essential. For instance, it would be helpful to identify and eliminate open-source function bodies or other safe portions out of the target binary codes. In this paper, we propose an tool to create open source dynamic link library files in Windows environment, extract signature information by opensource and compiler version, and compare open source function information to find suspicious function. In addition, the tool can save the information used in the comparison to the DB and use it later, reducing the analysis time overhead.

  • The recent "Log4j Security Vulnerability Incident" has occurred, and the information system that uses the open source "Log4J" has been exposed to vulnerabilities. The incident brought great vulnerabilities in the information systems of South Korea's major government agencies or companies and global information systems, causing problems with open source vulnerabilities. Despite the advantages of many advantages, the current development paradigm, which is developed using open source, can easily spread software security vulnerabilities, ensuring open source safety and reliability. You need to check the open source. However, open source vulnerability scan tools have various languages and functions. Therefore, the existing software evaluation criteria are ambiguous and it is difficult to evaluate advantages and weaknesses, so this paper has developed a new evaluation criteria for the vulnerability analysis tools of open source

  • In this study, an optimal structural design of composite helicopter blades is performed using the genetic algorithm-based optimizer PSGA (Particle Swarm assisted Genetic Algorithm). The blade sections consist of the skin, spar, form, and balancing weight. The sectional geometries are generated using the B-spline curves while an opensource code Gmsh is used to discretize each material domain which is then analyzed by a finite element sectional analysis program Ksec2d. The HART II blade formed based on either C- or D-spar configuration is exploited to verify the cross-sectional design framework. A numerical simulation shows that each spar model reduces the blade mass by 7.39% and 6.65%, respectively, as compared with the baseline HART II blade case, while the shear center locations being remain close (within 5% chord) to the quarter chord line for both cases. The effectiveness of the present optimal structural design framework is demonstrated, which can readily be applied for the structural design of composite helicopter blades.

  • Opensource LMS Moodle consists of module of various forms and can mount learning materials of various forms. We can mount the number of contents on the Web in Moodle. In doing so, We can configure effective courses for teaching-learning activity. Moodle can reflect course design of a wide variety of teacher using a variety of learning resources and learning activities. The results of operating during 1 semester, all faculty or students were satisfied with course using Moodle. Class in the classroom is interactive systems of teacher and students, but class has one-way system in reality. E-learning can be used to complement this phenomenon. Moodle gives a free and powerful features in designing e-learning courses. In this reserch we made up course applying typical teaching-learning of design and model the process of Glaser. We analyed teaching - learning activity case of Understanding and Application of Information science course of 2010year 1 semester in Seoul national University of Education using LMS Moodle and pursued future expansion plan of Moodle.

  • With the transition of archaeological recording method's transition from analog to digital, the 3D scanning technology has been actively adopted within the field. Research on the digital archaeological digital data gathered from 3D scanning and photogrammetry is continuously being conducted. However, due to cost and manpower issues, most buried cultural heritage organizations are hesitating to adopt such digital technology. This paper aims to present a digital recording method of relics utilizing open-source software and photogrammetry technology, which is believed to be the most efficient method among 3D scanning methods. The digital recording process of relics consists of three stages: acquiring a 3D model, creating a joining map with the edited 3D model, and creating an digital drawing. In order to enhance the accessibility, this method only utilizes open-source software throughout the entire process. The results of this study confirms that in terms of quantitative evaluation, the deviation of numerical measurement between the actual artifact and the 3D model was minimal. In addition, the results of quantitative quality analysis from the open-source software and the commercial software showed high similarity. However, the data processing time was overwhelmingly fast for commercial software, which is believed to be a result of high computational speed from the improved algorithm. In qualitative evaluation, some differences in mesh and texture quality occurred. In the 3D model generated by opensource software, following problems occurred: noise on the mesh surface, harsh surface of the mesh, and difficulty in confirming the production marks of relics and the expression of patterns. However, some of the open source software did generate the quality comparable to that of commercial software in quantitative and qualitative evaluations. Open-source software for editing 3D models was able to not only post-process, match, and merge the 3D model, but also scale adjustment, join surface production, and render image necessary for the actual measurement of relics. The final completed drawing was tracked by the CAD program, which is also an open-source software. In archaeological research, photogrammetry is very applicable to various processes, including excavation, writing reports, and research on numerical data from 3D models. With the breakthrough development of computer vision, the types of open-source software have been diversified and the performance has significantly improved. With the high accessibility to such digital technology, the acquisition of 3D model data in archaeology will be used as basic data for preservation and active research of cultural heritage.
