A concrete box culvert has been widely used as a typical structure in case of crossing the railroad and highway. Due to the simplicity of it's own shape, in company with the development of computers many studies on the computer-aided automatic design have been continuously carried out. In this paper, an automated design algorithm has been proposed by the analysis of the existed design data of box culverts. From a viewpoint of the users, a data base system has been constructed to carry out the total design process completely through the minimum input data and by means of direct input method on the monitor screen. And an automatic design program for railroad box culverts, in which one-stop process from the structural calculation to the quantity estimation is possible, has been developed.

Vehicle emission is one of the major sources of air pollution, and provides some undesirable effects on the atmospheric environment and human health. In this study, the driving data were recorded during road tests in Seoul metropolitan wet and analyzed by statistical techniques. The objective of the study is to analyze the driving Patterns of passenger car that influence on emissions in urban driving. The results show that the average speed is around 29.2 km/h, and the average fuel economy is 10.23 km/$\ell$. The vehicle speed of Seoul metropolitan area is slower, and the stop-and-go operation is more frequent than CVS-75 test mode which is used far emission and fuel economy test.

A novel microstrip type law-pass filter using thin or thick film resistors is proposed to efficiently eliminate harmonic spurious response in stop-band. The proposed low-pass filter shows the spurious suppression enhancement of 20 dB over a conventional one. The designed low-pass filter could be used as a harmonic rejection filter of a local oscillator for Ku-band satellite payload system.

To translate in real time, a simultaneous translation system should determine when to stop reading source tokens and generate target tokens corresponding to a partial source sentence read up to that point. However, conventional attention-based neural machine translation (NMT) models cannot produce translations with adequate latency in online scenarios because they wait until a source sentence is completed to compute alignment between the source and target tokens. To address this issue, we propose a reinforced learning (RL)-based attention mechanism, the reinforced attention mechanism, which allows a neural translation model to jointly train the stopping criterion and a partial translation model. The proposed attention mechanism comprises two modules, one to ensure translation quality and the other to address latency. Different from previous RL-based simultaneous translation systems, which learn the stopping criterion from a fixed NMT model, the modules can be trained jointly with a novel reward function. In our experiments, the proposed model has better translation quality and comparable latency compared to previous models.

While the body of cases on startup has grown substantially, there has been a lack of a one-stop gateway of entrepreneurship. The study attempts to build a subject gateway for startup information services based on case studies, users' needs analysis, and literature reviews. The results show that users have difficulty in selecting useful information since the excess of information and the search for the desired information as it is scattered across a wide range of sources. The study designed a subject gateway by a navigation system that enables flexible browsing within the entire gateway through the ontology modeling. The study also presented an example of startup records to display how startup information can be explored. This study is expected to contribute to the understanding of the current status related to business startup services. The business startup digital gateways based on empirical data analysis will contribute to extending library service for startup.

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are becoming widely used in collecting and sensing information in different fields such as in the medical area, smart phone industry and military environment. The main concern here is reducing the power consumption because it effects in the lifetime of wireless sensor during commutation because it may be work in some environment like sensor in the battlefields where is not easy to change the battery for a node and that may decrease the efficiency of that node and that may affect the network traffic may be interrupted because one or more nodes stop working. In this paper we implement, simulate, and investigate S-MAC protocol with mobility support and show the sequence of events the sender and receiver go through. We tested some parameters and their impacts of on the performance including System throughput, number of packets successfully delivered per second, packet delay, average packet delay before successful transmission.

Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network is allowed to searching the all curriculums and courses related with training but also is a one stop handling integrated learning system to cover a course registration, learning and analysis of learning performance. Through developing and managing the Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network, it is available to get the various curriculum thus it is for trainers able to enforce the self oriented course choice and then high quality of training could be proposed by the diverse training curriculums and competitions. To manage Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network more effectively, active public relations marketing activities, high reliable correct information service and rich contents are required. It is essential to manage the learner and learning contents supplier, stable financial resources, personal security issue and protecting a copyright of training curriculum to be a successful network system.

Since 1996, the document exchange method by EDI has been introduced in port and logistics industries to enhance the declaration activities to the Pusan Port Authority and Customs. In spite of these efforts, users such as shipping companies, shipping agents, and freight forwarders have complained the inconvenience of using EDI systems. The major reasons can be summarized as too much transfer time, inconvenient EDI software, and problems on message receiving confirmation. To solve these problems, although we have developed an Internet based EDI system for Port-MIS users, we have failed its implementation practically for the short of Governments readiness, the complexity of systems and separation with in-house systems. So, the writers have changed the direction of research to applying the concept of SCM to logistics system by XML/EDI. In this Paper, the prototype systems to integrate processes of shipping company, Port Authority, Customs and stevedoring company will be suggested. The new method of EDI gives us advantages, which are the accuracy of cargo data and integration of processes among firms and keeping the service of cargo trace.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and discuss a newly-constructed metadata database system that facilitates the retrieval of faculty syllabi available on the Internet. This gateway system aims to provide users with one-stop access to syllabi posted by the faculty of the institutes of post-secondary education from all around the world. Several elements of the Dublin Core (DC) and other supplementary elements were used for cataloging the syllabi. The conceptual schema of all the selected elements of the syllabi was developed following the entity-relationship model. The metadata of the syllabi was then stored in a relational database system. Various searching and browsing interfaces were implemented to facilitate effective retrieval. The prototype, named as Gateway to Faculty Syllabi (GFS), is available at http:/Ais.skku.ac.kr/gfs/.

Modern surveying techniques have been progressed to get the absolute position of a single coordinate system at any point on the earth with the advent of the Global Navigation Satellite System and One-stop digital equipment. In addition, as the speed of the railway has been increasingly faster, in determining the location of major facilities including the center of tracks, it is required to the sophisticated precision. The surveying of railway construction has applied the technical supports and procedures in accordance with the current requirements. In this study, the applicable guidelines of surveying on practical issues and alternatives would be examined, analyzed, and presented by using the empirical data of pilot areas in the process of design, construction, and the maintenance of railway.
