  • The objective of this study is to identify factors affecting the job satisfaction of cook(n= 173) employed in school food service and to propose a plan to improve school foodservice quality. The subjects were cook employed by school in Chungchon province, Gwangju area. The average of cook's job satisfaction was 3.06, the rank factor for nature of work(4.25). the co-workers(3.28), the organic environment(3.17), promotion welfare payment(2.31), the physical environment(2.29) shown respectively. The highest satisfaction with nature of work and organic environment was indicated in the areas of the group of higher age, and cooks who received college education showed significantly lower job satisfaction in physical environment. The highest satisfaction for promotion welfare payment, and physical environment shown in the group of higher length of service who receive higher wages. The groups of regular job shown higher result in the nature of work(3.46>2.94), organic environment(3.46>2.94), promotion welfare payment(2.88>1.94) comparing to irregular job. It is necessary to elevate cook's low satisfaction for improving their work efficiency and the quality of elementary school foodservice.

  • Objective: This study examined the relationship between child care teachers'job satisfaction, teacher-parent partnership, and teacher- child interaction in order to improve the quality of child care. Methods: Self-report questionnaires were used on 321 child care teachers and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and Structural Equation Modeling Analysis. Results: First, significant correlations existed among variables except the relationship between payment/promotion and other variables. The results showed that child care teachers'job satisfaction had a significant and direct influence on teacher-child interaction, and teachers' job satisfaction was partially mediated by teacher-parent partnership on teacher-child interaction. Conclusion/Implications: The findings confirm that teachers' job satisfaction and teacher-parent partnership are preceding factors for positive teacher-child interaction. Significant attention should be paid to child care teachers'psychological satisfaction and teacher-parent relationships to promote the quality of child care and the positive interaction between teachers and children.

  • The main objective of this study is to investigate the factors affecting patient satisfaction, repeat-use intention, and inducement intention for providing the suggestion for patient-oriented management of dental services organizations. For this study, the patient satisfaction model including 14 facets of satisfaction factors such as distance(time/location), human services(dentist-hygienist), treatment results, and facilities(convenient facilities/parking lot) was examined. Data were collected from 196 patients who visiting the same dental services organization more than two times of ten dental clinics at Kyeongsangnam-do area using self-administered questionnaire. Major results of the empirical analysis are as follows: First, patient satisfaction, repeat-use intention, and inducement intention were significantly correlated with gender, age, economic conditions among patients of dental clinics. Second, kindness of hygienist, treatment results, kindness of receptionist, waiting time, emergency medical services, and right-fee for services were found to have significant influence on dental services organizations. These research findings suggest that improvement of service quality in dental care and advancement in treatment ability of dentist and hygienist are very important to improve patient satisfaction and patient-oriented service system in dental services organizations.

Data was collected using self-reported questionnaires. Statistical analysis was performed with IBM SPSS ver. 21.0. Mean (standard deviation) and one-way ANOVA & pearson correlation were performed. Results: The most frequent DISC behavior patterns of dental hygiene students was steadiness types (49.0%) followed by influence types (34.5%), conscientiousness types (9.0%), and dominance types (7.5%). There were no significant difference in professionalism and major satisfaction according to DISC behavior patterns in dental hygiene students. There was a correlation between major satisfaction and professionalism of dental hygiene students. Conclusion: In conclusion, in order for dental hygiene students to establish positive professionalism through increased major satisfaction, it is necessary to make various efforts such as providing consultation and education that corresponds to each student's DISC behavior patterns. These efforts will provide the students career vision and encourage them to improve their academic achievement and find employment that fits their vocational aptitude.

  • SMEs are constantly demanded of changes in the rapidly-evolving business environment, which involves the fourth industrial revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic. In this period, management consulting service becomes more in demand to provide technical and strategic solutions for management problems. This study aimed to empirically analyze the direct effects of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction and the indirect effects of such parameters as learning agility and self-efficacy on job satisfaction in management consultants. On the basis of a literature review, inter-variable association was designed in the research model. Based on an online survey of those in the Korean SME management consultants, this study collected 221 questionnaires then used structural equation modeling for statistical analysis. The results reveal that emotional intelligence significantly affected job satisfaction and, also significantly positively affected learning agility and self-efficacy. In addition, a significant indirect correlation could be found between learning agility and self-efficacy. Meanwhile, if learning agility and self-efficacy mediated job satisfaction, emotional intelligence had no significant effect on job satisfaction and fully mediated learning agility and self-efficacy. It is necessary to develop an emotional intelligence education program that can help management consultants improve their emotional intelligence with the objective of giving successful management consulting services.

Methods: The participants of this study comprised 422 childcare teachers employed in childcare centers across Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province. Correlation analysis was performed using the collected data to examine the relationships between variables. Additionally, regression analysis was carried out to validate the mediating role of interpersonal relationship competence in the association between workplace social support and job satisfaction. Results: The study's findings revealed a positive correlation between interpersonal competence and job satisfaction. The study successfully confirmed the mediating role of interpersonal competence among childcare teachers in the connection between workplace social support and job satisfaction. Conclusion/Implications: The results suggest that enhancing the job satisfaction of childcare teachers requires identifying diverse social support systems within childcare centers that influence them. It is imperative to formulate strategies that highly value social support and concurrently enhance interpersonal skills.

  • The objective of this paper is to develop the efficient heuristic method for solving the minimum makespan problem of the job shop scheduling. The proposed heuristic method is based on a constraint satisfaction problem technique and a improved randomizing search algorithm. In this paper, ILOG programming libraries are used to embody the job shop model, and a constraint satisfaction problem technique is developed for this model to generate the initial solution. Then, a improved randomizing search algorithm is employed to overcome the increased search time of constrained satisfaction problem technique on the increased problem size and to find a improved solution. Computational experiments on well known MT and LA problem instances show that this approach yields better results than the other procedures.
