Effects of Consumer Innovativeness on the Evaluation of the Online Fashion Advertisement Sustainability (온라인 패션광고의 지속가능성 평가에 대한 소비자 혁신성 효과)

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of consumer innovativeness on the evaluation of online fashion advertisement sustainability and on purchase intentions of advertising products. Online survey have been conducted of 573 people who had experience of online advertisements. The data collected from the surveys were analyzed by the factor analysis, the t-test and the multiple regression analysis. the results are as follows: Firstly, it has been identified that the concept of sustainability of online fashion advertisement consists of four sub-elements of the objectivity of advertisement expressions, the non-harmfulness of advertisement expressions, the protection of personal information, and the non-infringement of web use. Secondly, the group that has a higher consumer innovativeness shows a significantly higher experience of online advertisements as well as more many internet use hours than those who have a lower consumer innovativeness. In addition, comparing with the group that shows lower consumer innovativeness, the group who has higher consumer innovativeness shows a significantly higher recognition of the protection of personal information, the non-infringement of web use and the objectiveness of advertisement expressions among the sub-elements of online fashion advertisement. Lastly, the objectiveness of advertisement expressions and the non-infringement of web use significantly affect the intentions of the group that has high consumer innovativeness to purchase advertised products, and the purchase intentions of those who have low consumer innovativeness are significantly affected by the objectiveness of advertisement expressions and the protection of personal information.

The Study on the Non-Point Pollutants Reduction Using Friendly Bank Protection Anaerobic/Aerobic Contact Filtration Zone (혐기/호기 접촉여과대를 이용한 자연형 하천호안공법의 비점오염 저감 특성 연구)

  • It is an urgent issue to manage and reduce non-point pollution sources for improving the water quality of stream and lakes in rural areas. In this study, in order to reduce non-point pollution sources in rural area, Gabion mattresses was proposed to provide protection of riverbanks with anaerobic and aerobic area. The utilization of this was assessed by lab scale model test and pilot plant test. After filling the inside of the gabion mattresses with aggregate, the filtration zone under anaerobic and aerobic conditions was formed to treat the contaminants. In addition, vegetation was deposited on the surfae of the gabion to prevent the inflow of soil and to promote purification by the plant. COD and nitrogen content (T-N, $NH_4{^+}$, -N, $NO_3{^-}N$) were monitored in model and field tests. The lab scale model test showed removal efficiency of 17% of TCOD, 35% of SCOD, 14% of TN, 62% of $NH_4{^+}$, -N, and 33% of $NO_3{^-}$ N. Also, pilot plant test showed removal efficiency of 24% of TCOD, 29% of SCOD, 47% of TN, 50% of $NH_4{^+}-N$, 33% of $NO_3{^-}$, N and 29% of TP.

An Experimental Study on the Spontaneous Ignition of Flaxseed Oil and Olive Oil Adsorbed on Towels (타올에 흡착된 아마인유와 올리브유의 자연발화에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • Purpose: In order to conduct a spontaneous ignition test in which a fire occurs in the absence of an ignition source due to the oil adsorbed on the towel. A phenomenon in which spontaneous ignition occurs when adsorbed to fibers using flaxseed oil, which is drying oil and olive oil, which is non-drying oil, is tested through an experiment. Method: After placing the sample container in the experimental device, observe the change in the central temperature of the sample, and when the central temperature rises above the set temperature and a fire occurs, it is judged as "ignition", and the experiment is stopped after checking the maximum value of the central temperature of the sample,When the central temperature of the sample was maintained similar to the set temperature, it was judged as "non-ignition" and the experiment was stopped. Result: In the towels with adsorbed flaxseed oil, the temperature in the sample container increased rapidly and combustion occurred in sheets 5, 10, and 15. Olive oil is a non-drying oil, does not ignite because it is difficult to dry because carbon is a single bond and it is difficult to bond with oxygen. Conclusion: It was confirmed that the more the amount of towel adsorbed to the drying oil, flaxseed oil, the longer the time to reach the set temperature and the occurrence of ignition.

Antioxidant potential of silk protein sericin against hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress in skin fibroblasts

  • The antioxidant potential of silk protein sericin from the non-mulberry tropical tasar silkworm Antheraea mylitta cocoon has been assessed and compared with that of the mulberry silkworm, Bombyx mori. Skin fibroblast cell line (AH927) challenged with hydrogen peroxide served as the positive control for the experiment. Our results showed that the sericin obtained from tasar cocoons offers protection against oxidative stress and cell viability is restored to that of control on pre-incubation with the sericin. Fibroblasts pre-incubated with non-mulberry sericin had significantly lower levels of catalase; lactate dehydrogenase and malondialdehyde activity when compared to untreated ones. This report indicates that the silk protein sericin from the non-mulberry tropical tasar silkworm, A. mylitta can serve as a valuable antioxidant.

  • This study was conducted to evaluate a forecast model designed to describe a vocational high school for runaway students. The study included 2000 adolescents from the KEEP(Korean Education and Employment Panel). A Data mining decision tree model revealed that: (1) Suicide ideation was a risk factor for running away among smokers. (2) High self-evaluation was a risk factor for running away among individuals that smoked and had no suicide ideation. (3) Drinking was predicted as a risk factor for no smokers, while family life dissatisfaction was predicted as a risk factor among non-smokers that drank. (4) Negative relationship with mother was predicted as a risk factor among non-drinking non-smoking.

  • Non-linear loads are the sources of power systems harmonics, and the power quality is influenced by harmonics, Recently, the requirements of power quality is important. For the power quality problems. it is very important that the development of power measurement circuit for non-linear load. In this paper, it is discoursed on that high speed sampling circuit and efficient power analysis algorithms. The sampling circuit is implemented using FPGA. Since the power measurement circuit system is composed by FPGA and efficient power algorithms. it is practicable application that accurate power measurement, stable protection relaying, and low cost system configuring.

A Legal and Systematic Study On Consumer Protection In Electronic Commerce (전자상거래에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법.제도적 연구)

  • The electronic commerce keeps going through a tremendous growth since the latter half of 1990's. But the consumer damages are being increased from characteristics such as non-confrontation, anonymity, internationality, unilaterality and possibility of temptation. Accordingly, this thesis has derived legal and systematic improvements for consumer protection in general as follows. First of all, it is necessary to extend the period to exercise the subscription withdrawal rights according to electronic commerce consumer protection law. Second, the electronic commerce has high possibility of causing errors by consumers because it is performed by non-confrontation and the accurate information must be provided to prevent errors in advance because it is not easy for consumers to prove their own errors. Third, a certification mark system on electronic agreement has to be adopted. Fourth, the legal, systematic and technological measures have to be adopted to prevent from having a sense of fear toward leaking or using personal information through a safe personal information management. Fifth, a strict supervision on internet trust mark is required. Finally, because the intervention or interference by a third party may take place through a hacking on messages or documents sent according to procedure in terms of online settlement, it is necessary to raise security on the system through a precise authentication between concerned parties.

Evaluating the Efficiency of Personal Information Protection Activities in a Private Company: Using Stochastic Frontier Analysis (개인정보처리자의 개인정보보호 활동 효율성 분석: 확률변경분석을 활용하여)

  • The value of personal information is increasing with the digital transformation of the 4th Industrial Revolution. The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of personal information protection efforts of 2,000 private companies. It uses a stochastic frontier approach (SFA), a parametric estimation method that measures the absolute efficiency of protective activities. In particular, the personal information activity index is used as an output variable for efficiency analysis, with the personal information protection budget and number of personnel utilized as input variables. As a result of the analysis, efficiency is found to range from a minimum of 0.466 to a maximum of 0.949, and overall average efficiency is 0.818 (81.8%). The main causes of inefficiency include non-fulfillment of personal information management measures, lack of system for promoting personal information protection education, and non-fulfillment of obligations related to CCTV. Policy support is needed to implement safety measures and perform personal information encryption, especially customized support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

  • In recent years, multinational companies' pirate cases for traditional knowledge and genetic resources are growing. Meeting of International Authorities(MIA) agreed that traditional knowledge documentation should be included in the non-patent literature part of the Patent Cooperation Treaty(PCT) minimum documentation as a means of protection. In Korea, Korean Intellectual Property Office(KIPO) and Rural Development Administration(RDA) have played a leading role in traditional knowledge-related protection activities. KIPO's Korean Journal of Traditional Knowledge(KJTK) was selected as a PCT minimum documentation in 2008, and has been serviced through Korean Traditional Knowledge Portal(KTKP) since 2007. RDA has published several books which contain traditional agricultural knowledge and Korean local food information compiled from 1997 to now. Traditional knowledge of RDA is searchable in KTKP from 2010.In this paper, we introduce overview of activities for protection and utilization of traditional knowledge.

Small Business Technological Assets Protection Factors Analysis Using Logistic Regression Analysis (로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용한 중소기업 기술보호 요인 분석)

  • The main objective of this study was to identify the factors that can maximize the effect of preventing technology leakage by government support. Therefore we used the 2013 small business technology protection capabilities and level of research which is conducted by the Small and Medium Business Administration, and have analyzed the presence of small business technological assets leakage protection eand skills. Multiple logistic regression analysis was performed to identify 1,518 small companies (43 big companies are excluded) which are divided into 155 technological assets leaked small business and non-leaked 1363 small business. The most important factors associated with technology leakage were entrant control system, security audit, employee absence of security activities and important data protection measures. This result shows that if the government can support more for these details, technological asset leakage prevention effect is expected to be maximized.
