The goal of this study is to examine whether the genre characteristics of newspaper articles are appropriately reflected in Korean language textbooks. For the purpose of this study, two corpora were built with 17 textbook articles and 60 newspaper articles respectively. The average sentence length and frequency of vocabulary in each corpus were measured. It was found that the sentences of articles in textbooks tended to have longer sentence length and more complicated structures than the articles in newspapers. For instance, sentences in the textbook articles had more verbal endings, such as conjunctive and transforming endings. On the other hand, in case of vocabulary representing 'timeliness', there was a high frequency of adverbs and nouns which were related to year, month, and time in actual articles, while it is found to be very limited in textbooks. Also, typical translative styles such as '-ko itta', '-e ttareumyun' were more prominent in textbooks than in newspaper articles. In the case of abbreviated and omitted form of particles, this was a characteristic that appeared only in actual articles because of the constraint of space. It is significant that this paper offers suggestions for the development of reading materials for Korean language education by revealing that the genre typology of actual newspaper articles is not adequately reflected in current textbooks.

이 연구는 도서관 관련 신문 기사를 분석하여 우리 사회에 투영되고 있는 도서관에 대한 이미지를 조사하였다. 2000년부터 2017년까지 총 18년 동안에 경향신문, 한겨레신문, 조선일보, 그리고 중앙일보에서 보도된 3065개의 신문 기사를 시계열 분석을 통해 분석한 결과, 도서관 기사 수는 2009년을 정점으로 감소하는 추세였다. 도서관 관련 기사는 책에 관한 내용이 가장 많았으며 연도별로 기사의 내용에 조금 차이가 있었다. 2000년 초반에는 정보와 이용에 대한 내용이 더 많았다면, 2006년부터는 도서관의 운영과 개관, 문화에 대한 내용이 그리고 2012년 이후에는 지역의 주민들과 문화에 대한 기사가 조금 더 많았다. 이러한 기사의 경향은 도서관에 대한 사회의 이미지를 반영한다고 볼 수 있겠다. 마지막으로 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 국내 도서관 홍보 방향에 대해서 논의하였다.

Purpose: This study analyzed how the four nurse-related news items 'talent show,' 'neonatal death,' 'nurse's death,' and 'sexual harassment' were portrayed in Korean daily newspaper articles. Methods: A total of 392 newspaper articles published from November 2017 to May 2018 were retrieved through the internet homepages of three newspapers, the Chosun Ilbo, the Dong-a Ilbo, and the JoongAng Ilbo and through a database for 13 other newspapers. Articles were analyzed for their views on nurses and their structural and contextual frames. Results: Articles with the highest frequency of mentioning nurses' death appeared in the JoongAng Ilbo; these were written as straight news articles. In the analyzed articles, nurses were portrayed mostly as victims, troublemakers, passive, or selfish. Articles were written mostly in episodic, incident notice, or attribution of responsibility frames. Conclusion: It was not uncommon to read articles with negative views on nurses; most of these articles focused only the four major incidents as straight news type stories. Future efforts are needed to study the implications of newspaper articles with negative views on nurses and the frames most commonly used.

In this paper, newspaper articles were collected through '5.18' keyword search results and the news corpus was constructed from the collected data. In the articles of local newspapers 'Honam' and 'Yeongnam', the ideological differences regarding '5.18' were investigated. The ideological differences of local newspaper discourse through objective figures was analyzed.. The subjects of the newspaper articles, the frequency of nouns and predicates were analyzed. The use and meaning of the intended vocabulary were examined. As a result of analyzing the title of the newspaper article, the discourse written in 'Honam' emphasized the necessity of re - recognition of 5.18. In both regions, the word "Gwangju" is often used. However, 'Gwangju' in 'Honam' newspaper means spiritual space, not physical space. In Honam regional newspapers, there are many vocabularies describing the events such as 'shoot' and 'fire', this calls for recollection and memory of '5.18'. In the analysis of newspaper discourse, the analysis of the contrast between the local newspapers was very insignificant, but, this study was conducted to analyze the discourse among local newspapers.

The Seoul city recommended that old apartments be preserved, and as part of that, it decided to preserve some of the buildings for Jamsil Jugong, which was built in 1977, and Gaepo Jugong, which was constructed in 1981. The purpose of this study was to compare and review newspaper articles with two perspectives positive and negative about how the social perception of 'apartment trace remaining' was being constructed. By looking at the meaning of keywords delivered by newspaper articles and the interaction structure between keywords through the analysis of semantic networks, we analyzed how the media is pursuing an issue on the topic of preservation of architectural cultural heritage. The analysis results confirmed that there was a clear difference between positive and negative newspaper. Positive articles dealt with utilization from the point of view of keywords linked to preservation, and negative articles showed that keywords related to the property and backlash of residents linked to the policy of the Seoul Metropolitan Government were linked, leading to high negative public opinion.

이 연구에서는 블록체인 기술의 활용과 관련된 주요 토픽을 분석하기 위해 신문기사에 나타난 '블록체인 기술 활용' 빅데이터를 토픽 모델링기법을 적용하였다. 이를 위해 2013년부터 2019년까지, 21개의 신문사로부터 15,617건을 대상으로 토픽을 추출하고 주요 트렌트를 시기별로 구분하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 블록체인기술 활용과 관련된 기사는 2015년부터 기하급수적으로 증가하였으며 IT_과학 분야와 경제 분야에 집중되었다. 기간에 따라 차이는 있지만 암호화폐, 비트코인, 가상화폐와 관련된 키워드의 가중치가 높았다. 금융거래에 집중되었던 블록체인기술은 빅데이터, 사물인터넷, 인공지능으로 점차 확대되었다. 이에 따라 기업의 토픽 변화도 함께 이루어져 금융거래를 위한 은행에서 다양한 분야로 확대되면서 대기업과 글로벌기업으로 집중되었다. 이 연구를 통해 블록체인기술의 활용과 관련한 신문기사의 주요 토픽과 함께 이러한 토픽들이 어떠한 변화추이를 보이고 있는지에 대해 확인할 수 있었다.

본 연구는 코로나19 사태 이후 보도된 간호사와 관련된 신문기사 동향을 살펴보고 이를 통해 신문기사에 나타난 간호사 이미지를 분석하기 위해 실시되었다. 분석대상은 국내 코로나 19 사태가 본격화된 2020년 1월부터 2020년 10월까지 10개월 동안 국내 주요 4개 일간지에 보도된 간호사 관련 기사 199건이다. 분석결과, 과거에 비해 간호사 관련 기사의 보도량은 증가하였으며, 간호사가 업무 대비 열악한 대우를 받고 있고 소명의식을 가지며 환자를 돌본다는 주제의 기사가 많았다. 기사의 보도방향은 호의적이거나 중립적인 것이 많았고, 기사 작성자는 기자가 대부분이었으나 전문기자나 간호사를 포함한 의료인이 작성한 것은 적었다. 간호사 관련 기사에서 간호사의 비중은 선행연구와 달리 주요인물로 다뤄진 경우가 많았다. 간호계와 언론계 모두 간호사의 다양한 역할이나 활동에 대한 정확한 묘사가 신문에 나타나도록 체계적이고 지속적인 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the changes and the using condition of functional cosmetics through articles of newspaper and the survey on functional cosmetics. The data analysis examined newspaper articles that demonstrate a grasp of the general trends of cosmetics, and these articles were chosen from the "Cosmetics Newspapers" and the "Jangeop Newspaper" with content primarily emphasizing articles about cosmetics. All articles on functional cosmetics were collected for the period from 2000 to 2005, and excluding repeated articles a total of 703 cases were examined. In addition, a survey was performed to examine how much women are using functional cosmetics and what the current state of their use is. This survey was conducted from October $1{\sim}20$, 2004, and respondents consisted of 350 adult females living in the areas of Daejeon, North and South Chungcheong Provinces and Daegu. Responses from a total of 302 individuals were included in the data analysis. The results of this study show a situation where the current use of functional cosmetics is gradually increasing, and because of external changes in the skin resulting from the development of modern society, functional cosmetics are being used by women as a means of increasing their opportunities for personal expression due to their skin improvement effects as well as increased confidence and a sense of satisfaction.

This study was to investigate the trends of dietary life as based on the assumption that economic growth caused the change in dietary life. Newspaper articles on home cooking in Cho-Sun Daily Newspaper, published from 1961 to 1993, were analyzed, and the results are summerized as follows: (1) Total number of articles on home cooking was 817. Traditional Korean foods had been introduced more often than foreign foods, particularily after the third period($'79{\sim}'93$). In the first period($'61{\sim}'67$ serving size of 5 had been adapted mainly, whereas serving size of 4 had been adapted more frequently after third period. (2) Vegetable foods were the most frequently introduced item in home cooking articles as a whole. In the third and forth periods starch foods had been reduced, whereas vegetable and meat foods had been increased in home cooking articles. Use of foods of the season had been reduced thanks to spreading of greenhouse and to improvement of food storage technology. (3) Traditional Korean foods were largely composed of kimchi, boiled rice, Korean style soup and stew which are basic foods in Korea. Foreign foods introduced were mainly beverage, alcoholic drink and salad. Since 1980 meat, chicken and vegetable dishes had been frequently introduced. In conclusion, the daily newspaper articles on home cooking reflect the changes in Koreans' food consumption pattern and consciousness of dietary life.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to devise a way of the dental hygienist to explore the articles of dental hygienist that were presented in the newspaper during the recent 3 years of Korea. Methods : This study is to examine dental hygienist articles with content analysis in the KINDS(Korean Integrated News Database System) of the Korean Press Foundation. Data were gathered from the printed newspaper of Korea over a period of 3 years - 1 March, 2005 to 30 March 2008. News reports, comments and letters to the editor were analysed, which revealed an image of dental hygienist that we would like to explore and debate. The obtained data from the frequency, percentage, chi-squared test between categories after inter-coder reliability test (reliability 0.96). Results : The articles of dental hygienist according to type of newspaper, 'local newspaper' showed higher frequency than 'metropolitan newspaper'. It mix '치과위생사'(42.3%), '치위생사'(49.4%), and '위생사'(3.9%) in use of name. The article pattern, 'news' 40.0%, 'information commentary' 18.3%, 'interview man' 15.8%, 'special news' 14.2% in metropolitan newspaper, then, 'news' 72.6%, 'information commentary' 23.2% in local newspaper (p<0.05). Most plenty of subject is 'administration system', and then 'celebration', 'publicity'. It showed 'seoul' was 'information commentary', 'country' was 'administration system', 'whole' was 'legal duty', 'unrelated area' was 'social living' in the topic of article according to newsbeat(p<0.05). Conclusions : These results suggest that it is necessary to publicity name, duty of dental hygienist in metropolitan newspaper officially.
