The purpose of this research is to introduce a new pedagogy for developing English education in the university. It is based on the favorable results of the application of Network English, which is a method that has been used in three classes at Y University for a period of one semester. Network English is a kind of integrated teaching method of offline and online education, and can be a learner-oriented educational method. The online aspect gives learners easier access to the text, regardless of time and place. And in addition to the characteristic of online itself, the various contents in conformity with the learning ability of learners are provided in the text, in order that the learners can get and maintain a desire for study without losing their interest in English. Although the offline part is not much different from traditional classes, the offline education can complement the deficiency of the online and also offer the learners the opportunity for questions and answers. From the results of application of Network English in three classes, the students were satisfied with the method and have more interest in English, which resulted in better grades.

Two groups of students, who are the students in the natural science course of high school in Korea, learned the equation of figure in space (point, line, plane) to understand more effectively with two different textbooks. One group was taught with the textbook used now in most high schools and the other group was taught with the textbooks systematized by associating old concept with new concept. The results are as follows : 1) We need understand the basic concept of vector plainly and flexibly to apply it to the solution of problems. 2) It helps students understand new concepts how we should establish the concept about point, line and plane in space by applying the concept about those on XY plane, 3) It is very effective in understanding the new knowledge system more easily to analyze the existent concepts and to arrange them systematically for efficient understanding of new concepts. 4) The texts which consist of contents organized by basic concepts improve students' learning ability.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of online blended learning(asynchronous online learning class 1+synchronous online learning class 2) method and discuss the applicability of online blended learning. In this study, we will analyze the differences in class satisfaction and academic achievement between asynchronous online learning and online blended learning classes, and discuss the strengths, weaknesses, and satisfactions of online blended learning. Methods : The subjects of this study were 39 of the occupational therapy students who took the 'child development' course. Asynchronous online learning class was applied for 1-6 weeks and online blended learning was applied for 9~14 weeks. The online blended learning class consisted of 1 hours synchronous online learning and 2 hours asynchronous online learning. For the asynchronous online learning, the screen recording program of OBS Studio was used, and for the synchronous online learning, the Zoom program was used. The results of course evaluation and academic achievement of students according to the type of lecture were compared, and a survey was conducted on the satisfaction of online blended learning. Results : The results of this study are as follows. First, satisfaction(A class: t=-4.19, p=.001, B class: t=-7.94, p=.00) with online blended learning classes was significantly higher than asynchronous online learning. Second, when applying online blended learning class, academic achievement(t=-10.58, p=.00) was significantly higher. Third, the online blended learning class showed the highest satisfaction in improving the interest in the subject, and it was found to be helpful in online class management, professor-student interaction, and class content understanding. Conclusion : We have found that online blended learning can compensate for the shortcomings of online lectures and increase the quality of the lectures and the satisfaction of students. The application of online blended learning should be supplemented according to the characteristics of each class, and I hope that blended online teaching methods can be developed based on new ideas in the future.

Edutainment as a new form of educational method is being combined with the education and entertainment, which has possibility of open education improving learning effect for students who are interested in entertaining and studying at the same time. Film education, one of edutainment, offers a new paradigm of alternative educational method using of education as well as playing Therefore, this study will discuss about the purpose and effective forms of film education that should have for edutainment goal. Furthermore, this study offers educational examples of film program which are used for teaching for students. This study mostly suggests diverse educational matter and focuses on researching film education efficacy.

The purpose of this study was to improve the interest of food and nutrition area in Technology Home Economics subject as well as food safety and choice. For that, we developed new teaching-learning plan by using reading education method and applied to the 9th grade students in Buchun, Kyunggi-do. Experimental and control groups were selected based on their test score in nutrition section. Control and experimental groups were educated by general lecture or reading education method for 4 weeks and the effect of different educational methods was tested. The results of study as follow: First, teaching-learning plan by using reading education method has been developed. To apply reading education method, we developed reading record cards which could help students to understand the terminology and nutritional problems. In addition, students had time to discuss about food safety and choice after reading education which could improve the interest in Technology Home Economics subject and communication skills. Second, after applying the developed lesson plan, the results showed that reading education method improved the interest and attitude about Technology Home Economics subject and teacher, and food choice attitude. However, reading education method had no effect on the interest on reading book about food and nutrition, and These results suggested that reading education method improved the interest and recognition about Technology Home Economics subject and teacher and food choice attitude. Therefore, to establish the proper dietary behavior in junior high school students, we need to develop and apply diversity of teaching-learning plan by using reading educational method.

A new teaching-learning method is needed to improve creative problem-solving ability of the gifted students at mathematics. In response to this demand, I applied mentor-project studying to the mathematically gifted class students of Chungnam Science High School. The purpose of this monograph is to analyze in what situations they demonstrated mathematical creativity and whether the interactions among the gifted in the process of studying were of great help toward improving creativity. The effectiveness of mentor-project studying was especially verified by the analysis of creative problem-solving test results.

Open education started spontaneously in elementary school and accommodates positively as a result of educational reformation. Open education also contributes to the development of human nature. This developes a creative power and inhances independence according to a main task of school support for the 21st century. A premise of this study is how to fulfill a fresh and wide space field of learning which is an indispensable condition of open education. The study analysed the teachers' reactions to open education after classifying an atmosphere of reception, understanding concepts, and application. This examined the concept, basic principles, characteristics, teaching-learning activiters open education, and quality of learning. The method of research used was on the results from the percentages of questionnaires that were posted to the sample schools. Although the final outcome to open education can not be summarized, three preconclusions of open education are as follows; First an atmosphere of reception is spreading continuously day by day. Secondly, understanding the concept of open education is very important. Thirdly, go percent of all schools have experienced open education were applied to open education. Contrary to some affirmative reactions, there are some disadvantages to open education. incdule, poor educational environments, difficulty in managing schools, lack of repetition of old out-dated teaching skills. Finally in conclusion, we must learn to adapt to the new method of open education as our educational system for the 21st century can not simply rely upon the open education motto. Above all, we must support educational reform and enforce the development of education within the education act.

Recently, storytelling was emphasized in mathematics education for students to have interest in mathematics and active attitude about the mathematics. Storytelling can provide a meaningful mathematical context that motivates children to learning mathematics actively. And also, the power of storytelling for engaging children in mathematics learning was evident in the many research. According to this trend, the new mathematics textbook applying storytelling was developed. Already this textbook applying storytelling was used in grade 1-2 in 2013. Grade 3-4 will use this new textbook in 2014 and grade 5-6 will use new textbook in 2015. This study reviewed the mathematics educational meaning of storytelling and discussed the educational rationale of introducing the storytelling in mathematics education, and offered practical teaching method for applying storytelling in mathematics instruction.

In this paper, we propose a virtual learning platform based on various interactions that occur during real class activities, rather than the existing content delivery-oriented learning metaverse platform. In this study, we provide a learning environment that combines AI and a virtual environment to solve problems by talking to real-time AI. Also, we applied G-learning techinques to improve class immersion. The Virtual Edu platform developed through this study provides an effective learning experience combining self-directed learning, simulation of interest through games, and PBL teaching method. And we propose a new educational method that improves student participation learning effectiveness. Experiment, we test performance on learninng activity based on real-time video classroom. As a result, it was found that the class progressing stably.

The purpose of the present study is to explore the possibility of computer graphics as a new expression tool for high-grade elementary students' poster making by suggesting specific teaching-learning methods focused on expression using computer graphics to make posters in Unit 9 'Designing Notices' for 6th-grade elementary students. Through this study, we confirmed various possibilities of computer graphics as a new medium for art education and particularly its possibility for children's creative expression activities in expressing images hard to express with paper and brush and applying desired colors to the picture. The use of computer graphics as a new paradigm of art education in the 21st century is expected to contribute to the improvement of diversified visual literacy. Thus, art class in school education needs to take an active attitude in intrdoducing various multimedia.
