  • Asymmetric regulation as applied to mobile termination rates refers to regulatory arrangements in which different mobile operators charge different termination rates, even though the services provided are essentially identical. The asymmetric regulation has been frequently used as a regulatory tool to support new entrants to a mobile market. This paper examines the economic effects of asymmetric regulation of mobile termination rates using a theoretical model and its simulation. The result shows that when there is no noticeable difference in brand loyalty between mobile operators with the high degree of substitutability between services provided by mobile operators, and the costs of new entrants are low, a reduction in the asymmetry of mobile access prices results in an enhancement of consumer welfare. These findings provide positive evidence for the argument that in certain situations asymmetric pricing of mobile access services may be counterproductive for consumer welfare.

  • Market globalization rapidly has changed market environment. So, in this study, we suggest global design process for many global companies which try to get global competitive advantages over through design. We create a new frame of study for global design as examining the circulative causal sequence structure of global consumer culture, global design, and global segment consumers in the meaning structure of global consumer culture and movement. And, with the new frame of study, the purpose of this study is to propose global consumer culture-based global design process for preference design. For the purpose, we reviewed global segmentation market, global consumer, global consumer culture and global design. And to search the circulative causal sequence structure, we applied to the theory of cultural movement structure by McCraken to constitute the frame of this study. For the empirical research, we focused on global teens consumer culture as the second data. Finally, we suggested global consumer culture-based global design strategy and discussed our future study.

  • Although a existing consumer market have been studied in depth in the new technology product market, the market research on the overall level of value chain to consist of consumers, distributors, and manufacturers is weak. Therefore, in this paper consumers' purchase of new technology products were simulated and analyzed by a consumer selection model and a multi-agent model, which consist of consumers, distributors and manufacturers. Our research was focused on customer preference study in new technology product market by using conjoint analysis and discrete choice model. And changes in consumer behavior based on adoption of new technologies and offering of incentives were analyzed by ABM (Agent-based Model). In conclusion, the market share of technology products was risen when provision of incentives corresponding to inventory level and demand for new technology products occurred at the same time.

The conclusions are as follows: First, the characteristics of beauty influencers are authenticity and expertise, similarity, attractiveness, interactivity, familiarity, and trustworthiness; product characteristics are cost, image, product quality, product perception, sales promotion, and sustainability. Second, partial beauty influencers' characteristics and partial product characteristics have a positive impact on consumer confidence and acceptance intention of the new product. Third, the mediating effect of consumer trust in the process by which beauty influencers' characteristics and product characteristics influence the intention of new product acceptance was determined. Therefore, when beauty companies use influencers in marketing, it is necessary to understand their characteristics, consider their professionality and authenticity, examine their reliability, and assess their ability to form connections with images and viewers that match their products. Additionally, to increase the acceptance intention of new products, companies should present the price of high-quality products, product sensibilities, and corporate images of products and establish measures that can positively affect consumers' acceptance intention of new products by combining them with the characteristics of beauty influencers.
