A Study on Workers' Risk-Aware Smart Bands System in Explosive Areas (폭발위험지역 근로자 위험 인지형 스마트밴드시스템에 대한 연구)

  • Research is underway on services and systems that provide real-time alerts for suffocating gases and potentially explosive materials, but currently smart bend type services are lacking. This study supports real-time identification of explosion hazards due to static electricity in the workplace and immediate elimination of accident occurrence factors, real-time monitoring of worker status and workplace hazards (oxygen, hazardous chemical concentration), and immediate warning and data in case of danger. We propose a method of establishing an accident prevention system through analysis. In this way, various accidents that may occur in industrial sites are monitored using IoT-based intelligent sensor nodes, wireless network technology, data processing middleware, and integrated control system, and real-time risk information at the industrial sites is prevented and accidents are prevented. By supporting a safe working environment, the company can significantly reduce costs compared to post-procurement costs.

  • Until now, water pollution environmental monitoring system has been used at to acquire and measure data for streams and rivers. Recently coastal and marine environment monitoring system is becoming most important and urgent thing. The realtime automatic coastal and marine environment monitoring system using CDMA data transmission technique is developed in this study. The Embedded field server is designed and developed to acquire and measure underwater environment information such as pH, DO, water temperature using the water quality sensor. The obtained data is sent to the server via CDMA modem connected to the embedded field server and stored in database. Our purpose is to provide and monitor underwater environment information with CDMA communication in coastal areas.

  • Recently, various technologies related to IIoT are introduced continuously due to the spread of IoT and smart factory industries. This paper proposes the construction of a two-way wireless network system for monitoring plant equipment using these various technologies. The main technologies used in this thesis are design techniques for micro sensor nodes to monitor facility conditions at various sites, MQTT technology for wireless communication between local server and sensor nodes and Node-RED based design technologies, which store data collected and can be easily presented to users via wired and wireless wires. In addition, a wireless two-way camera system was also implemented in which the screen images of the site can be viewed in the situation room according to the instructions of the situation room when determining abnormal conditions.

  • Latest, it is dealt with seriously problems that an intruder kidnapping students in elementary school. Especially young students is more vulnerable in these risks. Elementary School has many limitations in controlling the intrusion of trespassers. A problem occurs that requires a lot of manpower through the deployment and management of security systems such as CCTV and control systems. In this paper, we is designed and implemented the outsider access management system using a sensor network and PZT camera called the USN's core technology to monitoring the access control for controlling the mobility of the trespassers.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented mobile object automatic system based on senor networks for telematics. For developing this system, we gather the various sensing data through wireless communication method using zigbee sensor networks and analyze them in monitoring equipment. And we enable the driver to recognize the car state information on the whole by interfacing analyzed data to telematics unit. And, we implemented automatic controller that can control temperature and humidity in car automatically by actuating air conditioner based on the data that was monitored throughout temperature sensor, humidity sensor and brightness sensor based on sensor networks.

  • Recently, as a countermeasure for cyber breach attacks and confidential leak incidents on PC hard disk memory storage data of the metaverse industry, it is required when reviewing and developing a remote-based regular/real-time monitoring and analysis security system.   • Since many accidents have been constantly occurring in the workplace, requirements of Industrial Safety Management have also been increasing. In order to meet the needs and prevent the problems in advance, we designed wireless sensor network system based on PLC. This system is set with amain node including PLC Modem and Zigbee in the every workplace and each wireless sensor node is attached to every worker in the workplace. The main node is supposed to transmit and receive sensor data, and the data which is from a wireless sensor node to the main node is delivered to monitoring PC through PLC. In this paper, it is expected that, by perceiving the realtime situation of the work place through this system, we could prevent the problems in advance and reduce damages by accidents.

  • This paper describes the procedures developing the algorithm for analyzing signals acquired from the Bridge Weigh-in-Motion (BWIM) system installed in Seohae Bridge as a part of the bridge monitoring system. Through the analysis procedure, information about heavy traffics such as weight, speed, and number of axles are attempted to be extracted from time domain strain data of the BWIM system. One of numerous pattern recognition techniques, artificial neural network (ANN) is employed since it can effectively include dynamic effects, bridge-vehicle interaction, etc. A number of vehicle running experiments with sufficient load cases are executed to acquire training and/or test set of ANN. Extracted traffic information can be utilized for developing quantitative database of loading effect. Also, it can contribute to estimate fatigue lift or current health condition, and design truck can be revised based on the database reflecting recent trend of traffic.

  • In general, a large-scale wireless sensor network(WSNs) is composed of hundreds of or thousands of sensor nodes. In this large-scale wireless sensor networks, it is required to maintain and manage the networks to lower management cost and obtain high energy efficiency. Users should be provided with sensing service at the level of quality for users through an efficient system. In evaluating the result data quality provided from this network to users, the number of sensors related to event detection has an important role. Accordingly, the network protocol which can provide proper QoS at the level of users demanding quality should be designed in a way such that the overall system function has not to be influenced even if some sensor nodes are in error. The energy consumption is minimized at the same time. The protocol suggested in this article is based on the LEACH protocol and is a role-based self-Organization one that is appropriate for large-scale networks which need constant monitoring.

  • Mobile communication is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and especially in Korea, where we have well over 30 million voice subscribers. Mobile communication now offers variety of data communication services such as wireless internet, multimedia messages, and color graphic displays. Handsets also have grown to accommodate such services, thus with functionalities such as programmable virtual machines that users can download and execute their own programs. In this paper, we have demonstrated a PCS handset monitoring system which can monitor biometry signals - in this case ECG over wireless internet and wireless data network (IS95C) based on programmable virtual machine architecture. The remote client handset receives data signals from a centralized server and processes and displays them in human friendly form in real time. Since every single handset on sales in Korea has programmable virtual machine and more than 10 million handsets are in distribution already, proper applications may have substantial impact on the related fields.
