  • P2P 스트리밍 가능한 OSMU(One Source Multi Use) N-스크린 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 Seamless 무선 통신이 반드시 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 Seamless N-스크린 서비스를 위한 무선 통신 MAC 구조로서, WiMedia Distributed-MAC 프로토콜을 적용하고, OSMU N-스크린 서비스를 제공하기 위해, 멀티캐스트 전송 기술을 제안하고 성능을 분석하였다.

Screening of Domain-specific Target Proteins of Polo-like Kinase 1: Construction and Application of Centrosome/Kinetochore-specific Targeting Peptide

  • Mammalian polo-like kinase 1 (Plk1) acts at various stages in early and late mitosis. Plk1 localizes at the centrosome and maintains this position through mitosis. Thereafter Plk1 moves to the kinetochore and midbody region, important sites during chromosome separation and cytokinesis. The catalytic domain of Plk1 is in the N-terminus region, whereas the non-catalytic region in the C-terminus of Plk1 has a conserved motif, named the Polobox. This motif is critical for Plk localization. EGFP proteins fused with the N-terminus and C-terminus of Plk1 localize in the nucleus and centrosomes, respectively. The core sequences of the polo-box (50 amino acids) also localize in Plk1 target organelles. To screen for domain-specific target proteins of Plk1, we constructed an N-terminal domain and a tandem repeat polo-box motif, and used them as templates in a yeast two-hybrid screen. The HeLa cell cDNA library indicated several proteins including the centrosome/kinetochore components or regulators, to be characterized as positive clones. Through in vitro protein binding analyses, we confirmed an interaction between these proteins and Plk1. The data reported from this study indicate that the N- and C- termini of Plk1 may function through recruitment and/or activation of domain-specific target proteins in dividing cells. Additionally, tandem repeats of the conserved core motif of the polo-box are sufficient for targeting and may be useful as a centrosome/kinetochore-specific targeting peptide.

구독형 OTT 서비스 특성이 이용자 만족과 지속 사용 의도에 미치는 영향: 넷플릭스 이용자를 대상으로 (Effects of Service Characteristics of a Subscription-based OTT on User Satisfaction and Continuance Intention: Evaluation by Netflix Users)

  • 본 연구는 넷플릭스의 서비스 특성 요인을 콘텐츠 다양성, 요금제 적절성, 추천 시스템, N-스크린 서비스, 몰아보기, 서비스 품질 등 6개 차원으로 구분하고, 각 차원이 이용자 만족과 지속 사용 의도에 미치는 영향에 어떤 역할을 하는지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구는 넷플릭스 서비스를 이용한지 1년 미만인 신규 가입자 202명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 넷플릭스 서비스의 콘텐츠 다양성, 추천 시스템, 몰아보기 기능, 서비스 품질은 이용자 만족에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 넷플릭스 서비스 특성 인식이 지속 사용 의도에 미치는 직접 효과와 이용자 만족을 통해 영향을 미치는 간접 효과를 분석한 결과, 먼저 N-스크린 서비스는 지속 사용 의도에 직접 효과도 간접 효과도 모두 미치지 않았다. 반면에 콘텐츠 다양성, 추천 시스템, 몰아보기 기능과 서비스 품질은 지속 사용 의도에 대한 직접 효과는 유의미하지 않았지만, 이용자 만족을 통한 간접 효과는 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 요금제 적절성은 지속 사용 의도에 미치는 직접 효과가 유의미했지만 이용자 만족을 통한 간접 효과가 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이용자 만족과 지속 사용 의도는 예측한 바와 같이 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다.

Reduction Characteristics of Electromagnetic Penetration through Narrow Slots in Conducting Screen by Loading Parallel Wire Arrays

  • This paper presents a method of reducing penetration of penetrated electromagnetic fields through a narrow slot with parallel wire arrays in a planar conducting screen of infinite extent. An integral equation for the aperture electric field on the narrow slot is derived and solved by applying Galerkin's method of moments. When a plane wave is excited to the narrow slot, the aperture electric field is easily controlled by the parallel wire arrays connected on the slot and therefore the magnitude of the penetrated electric field is effectively reduced by loading the parallel wire arrays. The numerical results show that the magnitude of the penetrated electromagnetic field can be effectively reduced by installing the parallel wire arrays on the slot. The results of the calculated penetration electric fields are in good agreement with that of the measured results.

  • In this paper, p-n junction formation using screen-printed metalization and co-firing is used to fabricate high-efficiency solar cells on single- crystalline silicon substrates. In order to form high-quality contacts, co-firing of a screen-printed Ag grid on the front and Al on the back surface field is implemented. These contacts require low contact resistance, high conductivity, and good adhesion to achieve high efficiency. Before co-firing, a statistically designed experiment is conducted. After the experiment, a neural network (NN) trained by the error back-propagation algorithm is employed to model the crucial relationships between several input factors and solar cell efficiency. The trained NN model is also used to optimize the beltline furnace process through genetic algorithms.

  • This study is about comparison of thermal and flow characteristics on the wind & radiant heat shield with STS mesh type screen for offshore. Numerical analysis was conducted to find transmission coefficient in the mesh and then analyse the flow characteristics about wind & radiant heat shield. The experiment method of solar radiation has been used as thermal radiation source to get the performance of radiant heat shield measurement. The sensor radiation device has been used to measure the reduction of solar radiation with various size of cells and at a distance of 0.5m and 1m from the cold face of the wind & radiant heat shield.

파라세타몰 검출을 위한 전기화학적 다중효소 바이오센서 (Tri-enzyme modified electrochemical biosensor for paracetamol detection)

  • A new disposable amperometric tri-enzyme biosensor for the detection of paracetamol has been developed. The paracetamol sensors developed uses horseradish peroxidase modified screen-printed carbon electrodes (HRP-SPCEs) coupled with immobilized enzymes, tyrosinase and aryl acylamidase, prepared using a poly (vinyl alcohol) bearing styrylpyridinium groups (PVA-SbQ) matrix. Optimization of the experimental parameters has been performed and the paracetamol biosensor showed detection limit for paracetamol is as low as $100{\mu}M$ and the sensitivity of the sensor is $1.46nA{\mu}M^{-1}cm^{-2}$.

Disposable in-field electrochemical potable sensor system for free available chlorine (FAC) detection

  • The work described in this study concerns the development of a disposable amperometric sensor for the electrochemical detection of a well-known aqueous pollutant, free available chlorine (FAC). The FAC sensor developed used screen printed carbon electrodes (SPCEs) coupled with immobilised syringaldazine, commonly used as an indicator in photometric FAC detection, which was directly immobilised on the surface of SPCEs using a photopolymer PVA-SbQ. To enable in-field analysis of FAC, a prototype hand-held electrochemical analyzer has been developed to withstand the environment with its rugged design and environmentally sealed connections; it operates from two PP3 (9 volt) batteries and is comparable in accuracy and sensitivity to commercial bench top systems. The sensitivity of the FAC sensor developed was $3.5{\;}nA{\mu}M^{-1}cm^{-2}$ and the detection limit for FAC was found to be $2.0{\;}{\mu}M$.

  • $Pb(Zr_{0.4},Ti_{0.6})O3$, $Pb(Zr_{0.6},Ti_{0.4})O_3$ powder were prepared by the sol-gel method using a solution of Pb-acetate, Zr n-propoxide and Ti iso-propoxide. PZT thick film were fabricated by the screen printing method, and the structural and ferroelectric properties asafunting of the sintering temperature were studied. PZT film thickness, obtained by four screen printing, was approximately $100{\sim}120{\mu}m$. The relative dielectric constant and the dielectric loss of the PZT thick film sintered at $1050^{\circ}C$ were approximately 676 and 1.4%, respectively.

Genetic Screen for Genes Involved in Chk2 Signaling in Drosophila

  • Chk2 is a well characterized protein kinase with key roles in the DNA damage response. Chk2 is activated by phosphorylation following DNA damage, and relays that signal to various substrate proteins to induce cell cycle arrest, DNA repair, and apoptosis. In order to identify novel components of the Chk2 signaling pathway in Drosophila, we screened 2,240 EP misexpression lines for dominant modifiers of an adult rough eye phenotype caused by Chk2 overexpression in postmitotic cells of the eye imaginal disc. The rough eye phenotype was suppressed by mutation of the ATM kinase, a well-described activator of Chk2. Twenty-five EP modifiers were identified (three enhancers and 22 suppressors), none of which correspond to previously known components of Chk2 signaling. Three EPs caused defects in G2 arrest after irradiation with incomplete penetrance when homozygous, and are likely directly involved in the response to DNA damage. Possible roles for these modifiers in the DNA damage response and Chk2 signaling are discussed.
