  • Music resources are characterized by quantization, diversification and complication. With the rapid increase of the demand for music resources, the storage of music resources is very large. In order to improve the retrieval effect of music resources, a massive music resources retrieval method based on ant colony algorithm is proposed to effectively use music resources. This paper constructs autocorrelation function to extract pitch feature of music resource, classifies the music resource information by calculating feature similarity. Using ant colony algorithm to correlate the feature of music resource, gain the result of correlative, locate the result of detection and get the result of multi-module. Simulation results show that the proposed method has high precision and recall, short retrieval time and can effectively retrieve massive music resources.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how inner resources of at-risk adolescents evolved through resource-oriented song psychotherapy (RoSPT). For this study, an RoSPT program was developed based on existing literature. Eight weekly group sessions of the RoSPT program were conducted with 25 adolescents who were under probation of prosecution. After completion of the program, 10 of the adolescents participated in individual interviews about the experience of RoSPT. Transcriptions of the interviews were analyzed via content analysis. The results identified nine types of inner resources that were utilized by the participants: hope/desires, challenge, endurance, sense of achievement, sense of competence, pride, discovering true self, courage, and internal locus of evaluation. The study supports that RoSPT can be applied to enhance inner strength of at-risk adolescents who often lack contextual and relational support. Further studies on qualitative exploration of resource formation can be helpful.

  • Using optical music recognition technology based on deep learning, we propose to apply the results derived to VR games. To detect the music objects in the music sheet, the deep learning model used YOLO v5, and Hough transform was employed to detect undetected objects, modifying the size of the staff. It analyzes and uses BPM, maximum number of combos, and musical notes in VR games using output result files, and prevents the backlog of notes through Object Pooling technology for resource management. In this paper, VR games can be produced with music elements derived from optical music recognition technology to expand the utilization of optical music recognition along with providing VR contents.

  • In this paper, the DoA(Direction of Arrival) estimator using unitary MUSIC algorithm is studied. The complex-valued correlation matrix of MUSIC algorithm is transformed to the real-valued one using unitary transform for easy implementation. The eigenvalue and eigenvector are obtained by the combined Jacobi-CORDIC algorithm. CORDIC algorithm can be implemented by only ADD and SHIFT operations and MUSIC spectrum computed by 256 point DFT algorithm. Results of unitary MUSIC algorithm designed by System Generator for FPGA implementation is entirely consistent with Matlab results. Its performance is evaluated through hardware co-simulation and resource estimation.

  • Recently, recognizing user resource for personalized service has been needed in digital content service fields. Especially, to analyze user taste, recommend music and service music related information need recognition of user music file in case of online music service. Music related information service is offered through recognizing user music based on tag information. Recognition error has grown by weak points like changing and removing of tag information. Techniques of content based user music recognition with music signal itself are researched for solving upper problems. In this paper, we propose user music recognition on the internet by extracted feature from music signal. Features are extracted after suitable preprocessing for structure of content based user music recognition. Recognizing on music server consist of feature form are progressed with extracted feature. Through this, user music can be recognized independently of tag data. 600 music was collected and converted to each 5 music qualities for proving of proposed recognition. Converted 3000 experiment music on this method is used for recognition experiment on music server including 300,000 music. Average of recognition ratio was 85%. Weak points of tag based music recognition were overcome through proposed content based music recognition. Recognition performance of proposed method show a possibility that can be adapt to online music service in practice.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how primary school teachers use music for classroom teaching and management and how they perceive the effects of using music in their classroom. A total of 190 questionnaires were collected from primary school teachers and 119 responses were analyzed after excluding four responses from music teachers who are not in charge of a classroom. The results demonstrated that a greater number of respondents reported the use of music for classroom teaching than for classroom management. With regard to music use for classroom management, teachers most often attempted to enhance positive emotions of their students by playing children's songs. For classroom teaching, music was frequently used to increase students' motivation for learning. Also, while first through third grade teachers tended to use music frequently for both classroom teaching and management, fourth through sixth grade teachers mainly used music for teaching. Although most of the respondents perceived the positive influence of music on their children, they reported difficulties in using music in their classrooms. Respondents indicated the needs for music-related training or provision of materials to support teachers for effectively using music. Future studies are needed to develop music resource materials that could be readily utilized by teachers in a variety of contexts in primary school.
