  • Conjunctive keyword search encryption is an important technique for protecting sensitive personal health records that are outsourced to cloud servers. It has been extensively employed for cloud storage, which is a convenient storage option that saves bandwidth and economizes computing resources. However, the process of searching outsourced data may facilitate the leakage of sensitive personal information. Thus, an efficient data search approach with high security is critical. The multi-user search function is critical for personal health records (PHRs). To solve these problems, this paper proposes a novel multi-user conjunctive keyword search scheme (mNCKS) without a secure channel against keyword guessing attacks for personal health records, which is referred to as a secure channel-free mNCKS (SCF-mNCKS). The security of this scheme is demonstrated using the Decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman (DBDH) and Decision Linear (D-Linear) assumptions in the standard model. Comparisons are performed to demonstrate the security advantages of the SCF-mNCKS scheme and show that it has more functions than other schemes in the case of analogous efficiency.

  • We Propose two new methods for non-keyword modeling to improve the performance of speaker- and vocabulary-independent keyword spotting system. The first method is decision tree clustering of monophone at the state level instead of monophone clustering method based on K-means algorithm. The second method is multi-state multiple mixture modeling at the syllable level rather than single state multiple mixture model for the non-keyword. To evaluate our method, we used the ETRI speech DB for training and keyword spotting test (closed test) . We also conduct an open test to spot 100 keywords with 400 sentences uttered by 4 speakers in an of fce environment. The experimental results showed that the decision tree-based state clustering method improve 28%/29% (closed/open test) than the monophone clustering method based K-means algorithm in keyword spotting. And multi-state non-keyword modeling at the syllable level improve 22%/2% (closed/open test) than single state model for the non-keyword. These results show that two proposed methods achieve the improvement of keyword spotting performance.

  • This study constructs an expert search system which has a mutual cooperation function based on thesis and author profile. The proposed methodology is as follows. First, we propose weighting method which can search a keyword and the most relevant keyword. Second, we propose a method which can search the experts efficiently with this weighting method. On the preferential basis, keywords and author profiles are extracted from the papers, and experts can be searched through this method. This system will be available to many fields of social network. However, this information is distributed to many systems. We propose a method using multi-ontology to integrate distributed data. The multi-ontology is composed of meta ontology, instance ontology, location ontology and association ontology. The association ontology is constructed through analysis of keyword association dynamically. An expert network is constructed using this multi-ontology, and this expert network can search expert through association trace of keyword. The expert network can check the detail area of expertise through the research list which is provided by the system.

  • To provide the privacy of a keyword, a public key encryption with keyword search(PEKS) firstly was propsed by Boneh et al. The PEKS scheme enables that an email sender sends an encrypted email with receiver's public key to an email server and a server can obtain the relation between the given encrypted email and an encrypted query generated by a receiver. In this email system, we easily consider the situation that a user sends the one identical encrypted email to multi-receiver like as group e-mail. Hwang and Lee proposed a searchable public key encryption considering multi-receivers. To reduce the size of transmission data and the server's computation is important issue in multi-receiver setting. In this paper, we propose an efficient searchable public key encryption for multi-receiver (mPEKS) which is more efficient and reduces the server's pairing computation.

  • There is a growing tendency to outsource sensitive or important data in cloud computing recently. However, it is very important to protect the privacy of outsourced data. So far, a variety of secure and efficient multi-keyword search schemes have been proposed in cloud computing environment composed of a single data owner and multiple data users. Zhang et. al recently proposed a search protocol based on multi-keyword in cloud computing composed of multiple data owners and data users but their protocol has two problems. One is that the cloud server can illegally infer the relevance between data files by going through the keyword index and user's trapdoor, and the other is that the response for the user's request is delayed because the cloud server has to execute complicated operations as many times as the size of the keyword index. In this paper, we propose an improved multi-keyword based search protocol which protects the privacy of outsourced data under the assumption that the cloud server is completely unreliable. And our experiments show that the proposed protocol is more secure in terms of relevance inference between the data files and has higher efficiency in terms of processing time than Zhang's one.

  • There are various studies to provide useful information for users on huge data of web-sites. Web usage mining among them is a method to extract meaningful patterns based on web users' log data. Most of existing patterns of web usage mining, however, had not considered users' diverse inclination but created general models. Web users' keywords can have various meaning upon their tendency and background knowledge. This study is for generating Multi Concept Keyword Model (MCK-Model) by analyzing web usage information on users' keywords of interest. MCK-Model can supply web page network for various inclination based on users' keywords of interest. Also, MCK-Model can be used to recommend the most proper web pages and it has been confirmed that the suggested method is useful enough.

  • With the increasing electricity consumption and the wide application of renewable energy sources, energy auction attracts a lot of attention due to its economic benefits. Many schemes have been proposed to support energy auction in smart grid. However, few of them can achieve range query, ranked search and personalized search. In this paper, we propose an efficient multi-keyword range query (EMRQ) scheme, which can support range query, ranked search and personalized search simultaneously. Based on the homomorphic Paillier cryptosystem, we use two super-increasing sequences to aggregate multidimensional keywords. The first one is used to aggregate one buyer's or seller's multidimensional keywords to an aggregated number. The second one is used to create a summary number by aggregating the aggregated numbers of all sellers. As a result, the comparison between the keywords of all sellers and those of one buyer can be achieved with only one calculation. Security analysis demonstrates that EMRQ can achieve confidentiality of keywords, authentication, data integrity and query privacy. Extensive experiments show that EMRQ is more efficient compared with the scheme in [3] in terms of computation and communication overhead.

  • This research proposes a system for speaker independent Korean continuous speech recognition with 247 DDD area names using keyword spotting technique. The applied recognition algorithm is the Dynamic Programming Neural Network(DPNN) based on the integration of DP and multi-layer perceptron as model that solves time axis distortion and spectral pattern variation in the speech. To improve performance, we classify word model into keyword model and non-keyword model. We make an experiment on postprocessing procedure for the evaluation of system performance. Experiment results are as follows. The recognition rate of the isolated word is 93.45% in speaker dependent case. The recognition rate of the isolated word is 84.05% in speaker independent case. The recognition rate of simple dialogic sentence in keyword spotting experiment is 77.34% as speaker dependent, and 70.63% as speaker independent.
