Web-based Servo Motor Controller Design with Real-time Micro Embedded Operating System

  • In this paper, we design and implement remote servo motor control system with real-time micro embedded operating system. The system, where controller and camera image grabber are mounted, handles control commands transmitted from a remote PC web browser. A hard real-time servo motor driver running on the real-time micro embedded OS and then a digital control application which confirms precise sampling time intervals is constructed. Frame grabber images transmitted from camera are saved in a image data format to view on remote PC web browser.

  • This paper describes a fully digitalized driver for BLDC motors which is realized by a single chip microprocessor. The speed change can be done by using the signal obtained from the position detecting sensor and adjusting the pulse width at the input channel of power module. In order to establish a speed control system a repetitive control method is adopted to track a periodic refer-ence change in the BLDC motor system. The experimental results show accurate reference track-ing performance under the given periodic reference in the repetitive controller design.

  • In this paper, SRM is designed and analyzed for EPS(Electrically Power Steering) application. EPS of vehicles plays a role that reduce driver's handle control power. For the proper design, FEM analysis is implemented according to the rotor structure. Designed motor is simulated with both FEM and magnetic circuit analysis, Effectiveness of the suggested SRM drive for EPS application is verified by the manufactured prototype motor drive tests.

  • 본 논문은 최근 급속히 늘어나고 있는 승강장 스크린 도어장치 제어의 효율성과 안전성을 확보하기 위해 현재 스크린 도어에 적용되고 있는 BLDC 기어드모터 제어시스템을 대치할 수 있는 고효율, 고토크 기어리스 PMAC 모터를 스크린 도어장치에 적용시키 위한 드라이브 및 제어장치 설계, 제작 및 적용에 관한 시스템 개발 연구이다. 개발시스템은 구동장치를 단순화하기위해 고효율 및 고 토크의 영구 자석형 BLAC 모터와 그에 따르는 구동드라이버를 채택하여 도어 구동시스템을 단순화하여 고장요인을 줄이고 에너지를 절약할 수 있도록 한다. 본 연구에서는 스크린도어 제어시스템 구성, 고효율 PMAC 모터를 Drive 하기 위한 회로설계, PMAC 모터 Drive 보드 제작, 구동 프로그래밍을 위한 알고리즘 및 구현 및 테스트 결과 등에 관하여 고찰한다.

  • Precision motor dynamometer is requiring for nano positioning control performance recently. Particularly, linear motor is using rapidly and the dynamometer needs is increasing. In this study, a precision control dynamometer is designed using MR (Magnetic Rheological) damper. The ultra precision motor system including the driver and controller is tested using the MR damper dynamometer. This dynamometer is able to measure torque for rotary motor or traction force with linear positioning accuracy for linear motor system.

  • This study documents the 3-phase BLDC(Brushless DC) motor to improve conventional exhaust fan motor. Energy efficiency, noise, and air pollution reduction for the high-performance vibration of the BLDC motor has been used in many fields. It is necessary to achieve the information of rotor position for driving 3-phase type brushless DC motor. It is also necessary that the PWM control algorithm design for a MOSFET driver to control the motor speed control for each of three phases. BLDC motors for exhaust fan, we studied the controller and software. The control circuit and motor control program through which Exhaust fan up close and person can be used safely and protect the environment.

  • In this paper, automatic sunvisor system is introduced for driver's safety and convenience. This system has the mechanism which keeps the sun off without obstruction of driver's sight. The mechanism can make the sunvisor move forward or rotate left while remaining inside inner roof. The control system consists of a CPU, a motor driver, light sensors, and the algorithm that can control the movement of sunvisor efficiently. When the light sensors take the sun light, they give the signal to the CPU and the CPU calculates the best position of the sunvisor with the information of driver's eyes height. Then, the CPU gives the signal to motors that can move the sunvisor.

  • The design of a gate driver power supply for a three-phase inverter using a silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFET. The requirements for the power supply circuit of the gate driver for the SiC MOSFET are investigated, and a flyback converter using multiple transformers is used to make the four isolated power supplies. The proposed method has the advantage of easily constructing the power supply circuit in a limited space as compared with a multi-output flyback converter using a single core. The power supply circuit for the three-phase SiC MOSFET inverter for driving an AC motor is designed and implemented. The operation and validity of the implemented circuit are verified through simulations and experiments.

  • A brushless DC motor has the high quality of torque output and silence, has been more widely used in industrial area. As the driver and controller of BLDC motor have been more complicated and precise, simulation method has been much used in motor design. And the output characteristics of BLDC motor is determined by the waveform of BACK-KMF in instinct. But because the conventional model of BLDC motor is obtained by approximation of real nonlinear waveform to ideal trapezoidal waveform, the error is occurred in simulation result. Thus in this paper, for the correction of this error in simulation, the model of real nonlinear waveform considered is proposed, and the simulation result is obtained in case of three-phase, four-poles Y-connected, surface mounted permanent magnet BLDC motor.

MR 햅틱 큐를 이용한 차량 기어변속 보조장치의 성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of Vehicle Gear-shifting Supportive Device Utilizing MR Haptic Cue)

  • This paper proposes a driver supportive device with haptic cue function which can be applicable for vehicles adopting manual transmission system to transmit gear-shifting information to a driver by kinesthetic forces. This haptic cue function is implemented on accelerator pedal by utilizing magnetorheological(MR) fluid and clutch mechanism. In order to achieve this goal, an MR clutch mechanism is devised to be capable of rotary motion of accelerator pedal. The proposed MR clutch is then optimally designed and manufactured under consideration of spatial limitation of vehicles. After transmission torque is experimentally evaluated according to field intensity. The manufactured MR clutch is integrated with accelerator pedal and electric motor to establish the haptic cue device. Control performances are experimentally evaluated via a simple feed-forward control algorithm.
