Objective: The purposes of this study are to understand the characteristics of the participants in a community walking campaign and to analyze the factors related to their participation based on the Transtheoretical Model (TTM). Methods: The study composed of the description of participant characteristics and comparison of them with non-participant characteristics in a walking campaign in K province. The data were collected through a survey of 2,590 participants and 258 non-participants from the same community. The survey instrument included questions about stages of walking and exercise, knowledge and attitude toward walking, and environmental condition for walking. Results: A majority of the walking campaign participants were in the action(24.8%) and maintenance(43.6%) stages of walking and exercise behavior. The non-participant group was split between maintenance(51.6%) and precontemplation (30.6%) stages. Among the participants, effective campaign promotion channels differed by age group while motivation for participation and participation patterns were associated with both age and gender. Favorable physical environment was a significant factor of participating in walking campaign(OR=1.396, CI=1.149-1.696). Although the campaign participants scored higher than the non-participants in most attitude toward walking questions, differences in knowledge scores between two groups were less significant. Conclusion: In conclusion, further social marketing to increase the awareness and to increase the concern of population in the community is needed based on the survey result. Transtheoretical model seems appropriate to apply to the evaluation and the planning the program of the behavior change in the community. Also, more organized and sustainable support in need to maintain the good habit of walking for the participants in walking campaign.

This research is about global investment for managing the important position, what Korea is doing in World's main market. Considering there are some differences between developed countries' model and developing countries' model in doing direct overseas investment, they target to get political agreement and develop the new invest plan and strategy by understanding changes of Korean manufacturing companies in direct overseas investment between 2000 and 2007 and analyzing the change of yearly investment motivation factors and determining factors for investment. The result from this result let us know that company should develop their own idea for their competitive advantage by doing direct overseas investment with the existing theory which convinces the need of competitive advantage for investing overseas. I set actual model and analyze results from it with the considering that it is so important to get knowledge and information for globalizing companies to invest overseas and companies, which want to be world leading ones for their field through innovation and changes, need to have more active strategy. And, the overseas investment, which was already done in other countries, 1. Review its realities and tendency in terms of investing countries, investing industries, and its scale. 2. Set up an actual model, based on strategic combination of investing location select and determination of Korean manufacturing companies and yearly investing factor-effect analysis. 3. Analyze how the situational factors have influenced and what factors would be considered for direct overseas investment. From the analyzing result, even though it is fairly true that raising wage and getting resources, avoiding customs, and developing alternating industries for export had influenced at the beginning, overseas investing companies' policy will be influenced by the results from studying marketing-pursuit type, which emphasizes to manage trade income and outgo, keeping the balance in the black, ensuring raw materials, local producing and manufacturing by using low-wage people for local sale, and situation for changing investing tendency as service industry.
Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) is quite different from in many aspects. CAL provides individualistic learning environment and facilitates autonomy of the learner. Thus the learners who uses CAL program has more sense of control and engages in more strategic learning than conventional learning environment. In this experiment, we used KORI (KORea university intelligent agent) which is a new type of ITS adopting TA (Teachable Agent) that fosters learning by teaching, So, we investigated the critical motivational factor that have influences in CAL learning and the effects of reward in CAL are another area of our interest. Thus, we divided two conditions that presence of reward and absence of reward. The 174 elementary school students(5th) were participated and they are randomly assigned the one of the reward conditions. Before entering the experimental instruction, all participants measured about metacognition, self-efficacy and goal orientation questionnaire as independent variables. Then, Participants were instructed of method of using KORI program and asked to study for ten days with KORI program at least 20 minutes everyday in their home, about 10 days. After 10 days, they were rated interest and comprehension. Regression results suggest that regardless of the presence of reward, metacognition is a positive predictor in interestingness. It indicate that metacognitive skills are required in CAL learning situation irrespective of reward. But on comprehension in the absence of reward, only self- efficacy appeared to be a positive predictor. In the presence of reward, performance goal orientation showed as a negative predictor of comprehension, whereas self-efficacy was a positive predictor. This result suggest that presence of reward especially interferes learning process of performance goal orientation in CAL learning situation. It could be interpreted that reward interferes the learning process of performance goal orientation by debilitating intrinsic motivation.

Secondly, the hypothesis that positive affect has a plus effect on hedonic value is accepted in two countries. Thirdly, the hypothesis that negative affect has a minus effect on pragmatic value is accepted in Korea, but rejected in China. Fourthly, the hypothesis that negative affect has a minus effect on hedonic value is accepted in two countries. Fifthly, the hypothesis that pragmatic value has a plus effect on life satisfaction is rejected in two countries. Sixthly, the hypothesis that hedonic value has a plus effect on life satisfaction is accepted in Korea, but rejected in China. Seventhly, the hypothesis that there is a difference in positive affect, negative affect, pragmatic value, hedonic value and life satisfaction between Korea and China is rejected in positive affect and negative affect, but accepted in pragmatic value, hedonic value and life satisfaction. In the competition among enterprises, user experience instead of goods themselves became influential as a differential factor. And many advanced enterprises began taking a serious view of customer's happiness and user experience improvement.
