텍스타일 디자인 요소에 따른 감성 분석 (Sensibilities according to The Design Factors of Woven Textiles)

  • This study aimed to investigate the effect of design factors of woven textiles on the consumer's sensibility and emotion. 60 textile design pictures and 18 adjectives were prepared to get responses from 512 adult subjects. Textiles designs were analyzed into 9 design factors, such as, motif source, motif-background ratio, motif interpretation, motif arrangement, motif variation, motif articulation, hue contrast, value contrast, and chroma contrast. The results are followings: 1) The design factors of textiles were connected to other design factors, for example, the type of motif interpretation determined the type of chroma contrast, motif source, the ratio, and chroma contrast significantly. 2) The correlational coefficients of the ratio, motif variation, chroma contrast, hue contrast, articulation, and value contrast were positively signed significantly. 3) Consumer's sensibility was changed in urban, natural, graceful, mannish, young, dynamic, new, modem and etc, as the textile designs were changed in motif source, arrangement, hue contrast and etc.

한국전통문양의 종류, 표현유형, 구성형식 및 적용대상에 따른 감성이미지 (Images of Korean Traditional Patterns according to Category, Interpretation Type, Composition Type, and Application Object)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate images of Korean traditional patterns. The subjects consisted of 369 male and 356 female undergraduate students. The experimental materials used in this study were 48 stimuli and questionnaires, composed of 7-point semantic differential scales of 23 bipolar adjectives. Twelve motifs selected from 3 groups of Korean patterns were used as motif stimuli. Twelve repeated patterns were constructed from them to be applied on a CAD-simulated dress. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. The major findings were as follows: 1. Four dimensions were emerged accounting for the dimensional structure of the images of Korean traditional patterns. These dimensions were 'simplicity', 'quality', 'interest', and 'modernity' dimension. Among them, 'simplicity' and 'quality' were the major dimensions. 2. Category, interpretation type, composition type, and application object of motif had significant effects on the images of above-mentioned dimensions. The application object had a significant effect on 'simplicity' and 'modernity' image, and the composition type on 'quality' and 'interest' image.

The Preference on Korean Traditional Motifs and It′s Relationship with Motif Images

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate preference and images of Korean traditional motifs, and to identify the relationship between them. The subjects consisted of 369 male and 356 female undergraduate students. The experimental materials used in this study were 48 stimuli and a questionnaire composed of 7-point semantic differential scales of 26 adjectives. Twelve motifs selected from 3 groups of Korean motifs were used as pattern design stimuli. Twelve repeated patterns were constructed from them to be applied on a CAD-simulated dress. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, and regression. The major findings were as follows : 1. Category, composition type, and application object had a significant effect on the preference. Interpretation type has no significant effects on the preference independently, but it had interaction effects when combined with composition type, and category. Especially the composition type had a greater effect than the other variables on the preference. Cloud motif and its abstract and decorative type were found to be more related to the preference than the other category and interpretation type. On the basis of the analysis results, image charts and preference charts were developed. By combining information from the image chart and preference chart, motifs and images preferred by consumers may be selected and developed into new valuable designs. 2. The preference was affected mainly by 'quality'image followed by 'simplicity', 'interest', and 'modernity'image. The preference on pattern design was affected by 'quality', 'simplicity', 'interest', and 'interest', 'simplicity', and 'modernity'image in the order. The relationship between the preference and sensibility images has been represented by equations.

Interpretation of Association Networks among Protein Sequence Motifs

  • Every protein can be characterized by either a distinct motif or a combination of motifs. Nevertheless, little is known about the relationships among (more than two) the motifs. Some of the proteins in the world are share motifs for evolutional or other biological benefits - they can save energy, time and resource for controlling and managing a variety of proteins. In some cases of motifs, the tendency is quite common and they can act the 'hub' motif of a network of the motif associations. The hubs are structurally and functionally important in themselves and also important in disease-related mutations. They will be highly resistant mutation to conserve their functions. But, in case of the a rare mutation, mutations on the position of hub can more easily cause fatal diseases.

미국대학원이 인지하는 韓國傳統紋樣의 感性이미지 (Sensibility Images of Korean Traditional Motifs Cognized by American College Students)

  • 미국대학생이 인지하는 한국전통문양의 감성이미지와 그 구조를 살펴보았으며, 그 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국전통문양의 종류, 표현유형, 구성형식, 적용대상에 따른 감성이미지는 고급성, 단순성, 쾌할성, 현대성의 네 가지 차원으로 구성되어 있으며, 고급성과 단순성 차원이 주요 차원인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국전통문양에 대한 감성이미지는 독립변인인 문양의 종류, 표현유형, 구성형식, 적용대상에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 고급성 차원의 이미지에는 문양의 표현유형이, 쾌활성 차원의 이미지에는 문양의 구성형식이, 현대성 차원의 이미지에는 문양의 적용대상이 중요한 영향을 미쳤다.

미국대학생의 한국전통문양에 대한 선호도와 구매의도 및 감성이미지와의 관계 (The Preference and Purchase Intention of American College Students on Korean Traditional Motifs and Their Relationship with Sensibility)

  • The objectives of this study were to measure the preference and purchase intention on Korean traditional motifs and to investigate the relationship among preference, purchase intention, and sensibility. The subjects consisted of 217 male and 351 female US undergraduate students. The experimental materials used in this study were 48 stimuli and a questionnaire, composed of 7-point semantic differential scales of 17 bi-polar adjectives. The data were analyzed by ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, Regression, and t-test. The major findings were as follows; First, interpretation type and application object had significant effects on the preference, while category and interpretation type had significant effects on the purchase intension. The application of Korean traditional motifs for pattern design was preferred to their application for clothing design. Decorative type was found to be more related to the preference and purchase intention than the other interpretation types of realistic, stylized and abstract types. The purchase intention on crain motif was lower than the other categories of lotus and cloud motifs. Second, in overall, the preference on Korean traditional motifs was higher than purchase intention. Third, the preference and purchase intention were affected mainly by 'Quality' image, a component of sensibility, followed by 'Cheerfulness' image, but not affected by 'Simplicity' and 'Modernity' image.

텍스타일 기반의 협력적 필터링 기술과 디자인 요소에 따른 감성 분석을 이용한 패션 디자인 추천 에이전트 시스템 (A Fashion Design Recommender Agent System using Collaborative Filtering and Sensibilities related to Textile Design Factors)

  • 제품의 품질 및 가격뿐만 아니라 물질적 풍요로움과 더불어 다변화 되어가는 생활 환경 속에서 소비자의 감성과 선호도를 파악하는 것은 제품 판매 전략의 중요한 성공요소가 되고 있다. 이를 위하여 제품의 기능적 측면뿐만 아니라 개개인의 정서적 감정과 선호도가 반영된 제품의 설계나 디자인 또한 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자의 감성과 선호도를 중심으로 소재를 개발하는 방법의 하나로 협력적 필터링 개인화 기법을 응용하여 패션 디자인 추천 에이전트 시스템(FDRAS-pro)을 제안한다. 텍스타일 기반의 협력적 필터링 기술에서, 예측에 사용될 이웃의 수를 결정하기 위해서 Representative Attribute-Neighborhood 방법을 사용한다. 사용자들간의 유사도 가중치를 계산하기 위해서 피어슨 상관계수(Pearson Correlation Coefficient)를 사용한다. 소재에 대한 사용자의 감성이나 선호도에 대한 텍스타일의 대표 감성 어휘를 추출함으로써 소재 개발을 위한 감성 어휘 데이타베이스를 구축한다. FDRAS-pro는 구축된 감성 어휘 데이타베이스를 기반으로 성향이 비슷한 사용자에게 텍스타일 디자인을 추천한다. 디자인 요소에 따른 감성 분석을 하기 위해서, 텍스타일 디자인을 9가지 디자인 요소(디자인 소재, 모티브대 배경비율, 모티브의 변화도, 해석법, 모티브의 배열, 모티브의 명료성, 명도차, 색상차, 채도차)에 따라 분석하였다. 패션 디자인 추천 시스템으로 개발하여 시스템의 논리적 타당성과 유효성을 검증하기 위해 실험적인 적용을 시도하고자 한다.

한국 웹소설의 '책빙의물'의 특성 연구 -로맨스판타지 장르를 중심으로 (A Study on the Motif of 'Book Travel' in Korean Web Novel -Focused on Romance Fantasy Genre)

  • 이 연구는 익숙한 장르 문법이나 코드 활용이 자유로운 대중문화콘텐츠의 특성이 반영된 웹소설, 특히 로맨스판타지 장르의 '책빙의물'의 특성에 주목하였다. 주인공이 자신이 현실세계에서 읽은 작품 속으로 들어가는 상상력은 웹소설의 기존 장르문법을 재해석한 것으로, 이 모티프를 연구하는 것은 장르 내 상호텍스트성 검토에 유의미하다. 로맨스 판타지 장르에서 책빙의물은 일반 판타지 장르(퓨전판타지, 현대판타지 등)와 차이점을 보이는데, 장르의 젠더적 특성을 드러내는 데도 이 연구의 목적을 들 수 있다. 이 연구는 책빙의물이 기존 서사에 대한 상호텍스트적 해석에서 탄생되었으며, 따라서 차원이동, 회귀, 대체역사물과 친연성을 갖는다고 보았으며, 팬픽션의 글쓰기 규범을 참고했다고 보았다. 이를 통해 앞으로 기존 서사의 재조합과 장르 간 간섭이 지속될 것을 예측할 수 있었다. 다음으로 로맨스판타지 장르에서의 책빙의물은 주변인이 주인공이 되어 서사를 전복함에도 상당히 보수적이고 자기계발적인 논리를 드러낸다고 보았다. 등장인물들은 현실세계의 미래지식을 활용해 파멸이 예언된 생존세계에서 투쟁해야 한다. 윤리적이고 자조(self-help)적인 주체의 등장은 흥미롭지만, 한편으로 로맨스가 인물들의 생존과 성취의 한 방식이라는 점에서 보수성을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이 연구는 로맨스판타지 장르에서 상당히 빠르게 시작된 책빙의물의 특성을 검토하고 그 등장배경과 특성을 검토했다는 점에서 연구의의를 갖는다. 물리적인 작품 수합에 한계가 있고, 플랫폼이 한정되었다는 한계가 있었다. 위의 한계는 추후 등장하는 작품들을 좀 더 검토하며 보완하고자 한다.

Improved Algorithms for the Identification of Yeast Proteins and Significant Transcription Factor and Motif Analysis

  • With the rapid development of MS technologiesy, the demands for a more sophisticated MS interpretation algorithm haves grown as well. We have developed a new protein fingerprinting method using a binomial distribution, (fBIND). With the fBIND, we improved the performance accuracy of protein fingerprinting up to the maximum 49% (more than MOWSE) and 2% than(at a previous binomial distribution approach studied by of Wool et al.) as compared to the established algorithms. Moreover, we also suggest a the statistical approach to define the significance of transcription factors and motifs in the identified proteins based on the Gene Ontology (GO).
