Negative consequences incurred from employees' non-work-related computing (NWRC) have been one of the security-related issues in information intensive organizations. While most studies have focused on the factors that motivate employees to engage in NWRC, this study examines the mediating effect of moral beliefs on the relationship between sanctions and NWRC using a moral beliefs-based model. The research model posits that the formal (i.e., punishment severity and detection certainty) and informal sanctions (subjective norms and descriptive norms) enhance employees' moral beliefs against NWRC intention. From a cross-sectional scenario-based survey involving 176 employees working at banks in Mongolia, our results indicate that moral beliefs fully mediate the relationship between detection certainty/subjective norms and NWRC intention and act as a partial mediator in the relationship between descriptive norms and NWRC. The findings from this study present empirical evidence that both informal and formal sanctions could be an effective deterrent for NWRC intention through employees' moral beliefs.
The present article reviews recent arguments on the moral-conventional distinction in moral judgment and discusses the implications for moral psychology research. Traditional research on moral judgment has considered both the evaluation of transgressive actions of others and the categorization of the norms on the moral-conventional dimension. Kohlberg, Piaget, and Turiel (1983) regard moral principles to be clearly distinguished from social-conventional norms and suggested criteria for the moral-conventional distinction. They assume that the moral domain should be specifically related to the value of care and justice, and the judgment for the moral transgression should be universal and objective. The cognitive developmental approach or social domain theory, which has been generally accepted by moral psychology researchers, is recently being challenged. In this article, we introduce three different approaches that criticize the assumptions for the moral-conventional distinction, namely, moral sentimentalism, moral parochialism, and moral pluralism. Moral sentimentalism emphasizes the role of emotion in moral judgment and suggests that moral and conventional norms can be continuously distributed on an affective-nonaffective dimension. Moral parochialism, based on the evidence from anthropology and cross-cultural psychology, asserts that norm transgression can be the object of moral judgment only when the action is relevant to the survival and reproduction of a group and the individuals within the group; judgment for moral transgression can be as relative as that for conventional transgression. Moral pluralism suggests multiple moral intuitions that vary with culture and individual, and questions the assumption of the social domain theory that morality is confined to care and justice. These new perspectives imply that the moral-conventional distinction may not properly tap into the nature of moral judgment and that further research is needed.
The objective of this study is to investigate the determinants of trust between the producer and the distributor, focusing on relational norms (mutuality, flexibility, and solidarity) and environmental munificence, in agricultural marketing channels. More specifically, followings are investigated in cucumber marketing channels ; (a) the effects of environmental munificence on relational norms, and (b) tile effects of relational norms on trust. The major findings of this study are as follows ; (1) The cucumber producers' perceived output sector munificience positively affected the mutuality and solidarity of the relational norms. (2) The mutuality and solidarity of the relational norms positively affected the trust. Therefore, the efficient marketing transaction system, mutual efforts for a fair regard between producers and middlemen, and the development of sound moral and trading custom are required in the Korean agricultural market. And also the active roles of government to develop the infrastructure of agricultural marketing and the proper roles of agricultural cooperatives to keep transaction activity fair should be clarified and proactively conducted.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of moral textbooks in Chinese elementary school with a multicultural perspective. This can be seen as a plan to prevent conflicts due to migrants in our society. Therefore, the importance of multicultural education in moral education were discussed. And then the contents of Chinese primary moral textbooks(grade 1) was critically analyzed according to content areas. As China was composed of 56 ethnics, the culture of domestic ethnic minority should be understood primarily. As a research result, the educational contents were primarily composed of children's daily lives and social norms which citizens should be abided by. The contents of textbooks do not reflect the feature of china as a typical multi-ethnic society. This can be seen that the Chinese moral education in primary school focuses on social integration. Therefore, we emphasize that the educational contents should be reconstructed with a multicultural perspective. And we hope our research can contribute to recognize and respect the differences between various nations and form a mutually beneficial relationship.
The purpose of this study is to research the religious-ethical meaning of the scripture (Jeongyung, 典經) of Daesoonjinrihoe, one of religious orders in Korea. It is 'the reorganizing in the order of heaven and earth' (ROHE, 天地公事)that the believers of Daesoonjinrihoe regard as the essence and basis of their religious belief in Jeongyung, and so I focus on it in this paper. And I have applied the method of religious ethics that recognize the relation religion and morality for understanding religious-ethical meaning of moral principles and norms. In the process of this study I have selected a lot of moral principles, norms and activities in ROHE, and sorted them with their social context of ROHE. In this research I have found some characteristics of ethical norms in the ROHE according to three divisions of ethical category such as personal, social and natural ethics. The understanding of mind is an important point of personal ethic in the ROHE. The mind is understood as the subject and object of personal ethical attitude and volition. So one could have ethical attitude by oneself with mind as subject, and reflect and correct on his ethical faults with the mind as ethical object. The distinctiveness of social ethic in the ROHE is special concerns to the weak at that time such as sick person, illegitimate children, shamans, farmhands and etc. This is a logical consequence of the ethical altruism of the ethic of mutual beneficence(相生) and the dignity of human(人尊) in ROHE. And the ethics of mutual beneficence is applied to natural ethic of ROHE. Since natural world including all sort of plants and animals is intimately related to the human worlds, so it is a desirable attitude for to accommodate to the changes of nature. Even if these characteristics of ethics in ROHE are justified by the religious beliefs, the norms from them are available in our religious pluralistic societies, since they have common ethical values of other religious ethics. It is my concluding remark that religious orders or denominations have to offer a lot of moral norms suitable to religious pluralistic situation. Because it is needed for our society to conquer various sort and kind conflicts among religions, and to act harmoniously together for public peace.

The purpose of this research was to develop a typology of fair-trade apparel consumers and present a clear overview of the influence of product knowledge on consumer behaviors. A two-step cluster analysis was used to classify respondents into sub-groups based on their level of self-perceived knowledge and purchase experience. In addition, ANOVA was used to test the predictive validity of the cluster solution. Income was the only demographic variable that significantly differed across groups. The more familiar and more experienced group had higher income than the other groups. Psychographic data showed that attitudes and moral norms varied across groups. The more familiar and more experienced group had more positive attitudes and higher level of moral norms than the less familiar and less experienced group. In terms of behavioristic data, groups differed significantly in purchase intentions and willingness to pay more for fair-trade apparel. That is, the more familiar and more experienced group was willing to pay more and had higher purchase intentions than the less familiar and less experienced group. Overall, the level of product knowledge and purchase experience were considerably low. This study thus confirmed the need to increase consumers' familiarity related to fair-trade apparel products.
Christian communities have long sought to find what type of moral judgment is appropriate and what the Christian behavior is, by taking the church's ethical norms and behavior patterns as objects of reflection. In the same context, Christian education also tried to base the psychological rationalism of J. Piaget and L. Kohlberg, but the reason-centered structural development theory was not the answer. In fact, the structural development theory, which emphasized autonomy while excluding emotions from the moral judgment process, over-emphasizing cognition or reason, eventually led to moral relativism, unlike what was intended. In addition, it was criticized for not being able to adequately elucidate the gap between human moral reasoning and behavior, and for attempting to interpret morality excessively within the context of social culture. Recently, these limitations of structural developmental theory have been reinterpreted by neuroethics, especially moral psychology theories, which claim that moral judgment ability is physically wired in the brain and relies heavily on networks between cortical and limbic system. The purpose of this paper is to review some of the newly emerged research themes of neuroethics, and then to discuss two main theories that explain morality in the perspective of neuroethics and the implications that Christian education should pay attention to.
Purpose - This study examines the effect of consumers' motivations on the perception and purchase intentions of electric cars. Specifically, it empirically analyzes how moral motivations based on personal environmental values and norms in car usage and purchasing influence the perceived usefulness and purchase intentions of electric cars. Furthermore, it investigates whether the influence of moral motivations on perceived usefulness and purchase intentions varies according to the user's driving characteristics. Design/methodology/approach - An online survey was conducted with 234 respondents, by setting criteria for participants as car owners or primary car users within their households, ensuring the sample composition was not biased in terms of the presence or absence of experience with eco-friendly cars. Findings - The research findings indicate that perceived usefulness mediates the effect of consumers' moral motivations on their intention to purchase electric cars. The results of the moderating effect of driving distance on perceived usefulness revealed a significant interaction effect; however, there was no significant interaction effect on purchase intentions. Specifically, for individuals with shorter driving distances, as consumers' moral motivations increase, their perception of the usefulness of electric cars also increases. In contrast, for those with longer driving distances, the increase in perceived usefulness due to moral motivations shows a decreasing trend. Research implications or Originality - This study considered individual driving characteristics that previous research on electric vehicle adoption overlooked, and suggested that setting specific communicating points for electric cars according to driving distance levels might be effective. Lastly, it proposes directions for future research that motivations influencing eco-friendly vehicle purchases may differ based on driving characteristics
