We looked at the background of how Western dance (Dance Sports, Social Dance) was first introduced as social dance in the past in Korean society with Confucian culture. In addition, we look into the social aspects of dance at the time, such as the spread of social dancing before the Korean War, the path through which the social dancing craze developed in the 1950s after the Korean War, and the decadent trend immediately after the Korean War, and how it transformed into a negative cultural phenomenon. We reexamined the series of events along with their social background. And now, social dance and dance sports have undergone such a significant change in perception in Korean society that they have become an indispensable element of life, to the point where the sentence is no longer unfamiliar in our country. Dancesport is an artistic indoor sport that combines elements of dance and sport. We also studied what changes have occurred in Korean society, including modern artistic elements.

Alzheimer's disease is a brain disorder that worsens over time and affects millions of people around the world. It leads to a gradual deterioration in memory, thinking ability, and behavioral and social skills until the person loses his ability to adapt to society. Technological progress in medical imaging and the use of artificial intelligence, has provided the possibility of detecting Alzheimer's disease through medical images such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). However, Deep learning algorithms, especially convolutional neural networks (CNNs), have shown great success in analyzing medical images for disease diagnosis and classification. Where CNNs can recognize patterns and objects from images, which makes them ideally suited for this study. In this paper, we proposed to compare the performances of Alzheimer's disease detection by using two deep learning methods: You Only Look Once (YOLO), a CNN-enabled object recognition algorithm, and Visual Geometry Group (VGG16) which is a type of deep convolutional neural network primarily used for image classification. We will compare our results using these modern models Instead of using CNN only like the previous research. In addition, the results showed different levels of accuracy for the various versions of YOLO and the VGG16 model. YOLO v5 reached 56.4% accuracy at 50 epochs and 61.5% accuracy at 100 epochs. YOLO v8, which is for classification, reached 84% accuracy overall at 100 epochs. YOLO v9, which is for object detection overall accuracy of 84.6%. The VGG16 model reached 99% accuracy for training after 25 epochs but only 78% accuracy for testing. Hence, the best model overall is YOLO v9, with the highest overall accuracy of 86.1%.

When we look at the history of lines, we see that with the beginning of human civilization, lines were engraved on cave walls or rock surfaces for religious, shamanistic meanings, or to leave records. As time passed, characters were invented, which were used as a means of expression and recording, and had a significant impact on painting. In the East, according to the philosophy of 'Wu Wei Zi Ran (無爲自然)', artists borrowed from nature to express their intentions on the canvas with lines, and sometimes wrote their impressions on the canvas before or after painting. Lines were regarded not just as simple boundaries but as manifestations of the energy that evokes the vitality of the subject. Drawing a single line was considered the first act of life newly born in the cosmic space. The line itself implies the depth of space and elements of expression. Many artists have developed lines using contemporary senses and materials based on theories found in literature. This study aims to research the concept of lines and the linear characteristics of the East and West through recorded literature and data, and to study works using the overlapping nature of lines as a modern expression method.

In the early twentieth century, history of animation began by modern artists, they produced various experimental images with the newly invented film and cameras. Artists in the field of movie, photography, paintings and others manipulated images in motion. But as some animated movies won industrial success and popularity, they became the trend but experimental style of early animation preserved by so-called non-mainstreamers or experimental animators, counteracting commercialism. Disney animation also followed the trend by applying realistic Hollywood film style, the worse critics placed a low value on the animation and it tarnished the image, although it was profitable investment from a business standpoint. To make images realistic, they opened a drawing class that animators developed skills to imitate motions and forms from subjects in real life. Also some techniques and gizmos were used to mimic and simulate three dimensional objects and spaces, multiplane camera and compositing 3D CG images with 2D drawings. Moreover, they brought animation stories from fairly tales or folk tales, and Walt's personal interest in live-action movies, they applied Hollywood-film-like narratives and realistic visual, and harsh criticism ensued. On the surface early disney animations' potential seems to be weakened, but in reality it still exists by simplifying and exaggerating forms and color as modern arts. Disney animation employs concepts of the modernism paintings such as simplified shapes and colors to a character design, when their characters are placed together in a scene, that visual elements cause mental reaction. This modification gives a new internal experience to audiences. As conceptual colors in abstract paintings make images appeared to be flat, coloring characters with no shading make them look flat and comparing to them, background images are also appeared to be flat. On top of that, multi-perspective at background images recalls modernist paintings. This essay goes in details with the animation pioneers' works and how Disney animation developed its techniques to emulate real life and analyses color schemes, forms, and spaces in Disney animation compared with modern artists' works, in that the visual language of Disney animation reminds of impression from abstract paintings in the beginning of the twentieth centuries.

A concept of 'digital' is changing a living pattern of moderners, with having influence on the whole life of modern society. The purpose of this study is arrange the frame of conformity to the 'fashion as culture' by considering the social and cultural phenomena being shown in relation to digital, which is a concept being watched most for the 21st century and by trying to analyze a tendency of digital culture being shown in the modernly fashion design based on this. The digital culture, which is a concept of generalizing the phenomena of interactional changes in the sub-structure being derived by digital technology, is being shown as a tendency of fusionization and globalization, and due to this, the culture of digital nomads is being formed. On the other hand, a tendency of amenity caused by the reaction against the coldly digital technology, is forming one axis of digital culture. As the culture, which experiences the process of a change by digital technology, is reflected even on the fashion, the fusion of technology and the human body, brought about the appearance and the development of the artificial body, by allowing the wearable computer to be introduced to fashion and by being connected directly to the body. This means the expansion of range for fashion. The destruction of a border between space and space, is making an opportunity of forming another ego inside the cyber space, with bringing about the mixed loading between the cyber space and the real space. As the border between the cyber space and the real space is being collapsed, the space of newly self-realization is being created. The collapse of gender is being shown as the pursuit of gender, which is a nomadic concept of not giving priority to anywhere of male gender and female gender. The tendency of sensitive design introduced the sports look as the largely fashion trend. Fascinated with Zen thoughts is leading to a response to the swiftly and coldly social conditions caused by machine. The digital culture by digital technology and the fashion tendency being shown by its influence, meet the needs of self-realization and self-expansion for a human being, and satisfy the needs for the expression of self-identity for a human being, and enable the search for introspection about inner existence inside the self.

This study examines the stage costumes of the creative musical 'Hyecho', which was performed six times in the Chung Ang Art Center hosted by Chung-Ang University's performance & media agency from December 20 to 22 in 2006. The stage costumes were made based on these basic design elements of stage costumes that were dyed : line, silhouette, material, and color. First, the creative musical 'Hyecho' presents a new form of fusion theatre, which blends Korean traditional music and dance with videos. Thereby, the musical has opened a new phase in Korea's creative performing arts. Second, in musical performances that combines dance and songs, stage costumes should be made not only to attract the audience's eyes, but also not to interrupt actors' vocalizations and movements by taking their physical features into account. Also, costumes should be made in consideration of their relationships with visual elements, including stage settings and lighting. Third, the musical features fusion-style stage costumes, which combines Hanbok, the Korean traditional costume, and Indian traditional costumes with modern costumes. For the line and silhouette, costumes show the beauty of curves through the curves of Hanbok and India's traditional costumes and also through irregular pleats of pants. Also, by using cotton materials, which is easy to dye and not readily deformed, costumes feature colors that are found in nature through a gradation dyeing technique. In doing so, it offers visual amusement to the audience by making stage costumes look like a beautiful painting. Fourth, the stage costumes of the chorus feature costumes that use lining and pleated skirts using belts, and various accessories, including necklaces that use strings in order to express evil spirits. Since there is not much time to change costumes during a performance, using such items are helpful to show the unique characteristics of actors effectively during the limited time. Also, coordinating with the lighting director allows the costume designer to make better costumes for the chorus and make the performance more dramatic. Finally, it was not necessary to wash the costumes of the chorus of the fusion musical Hyecho 2006 since it was performed only six times. However, when using dyed costumes for the long-term performance, it might cause problems such as bleaching that result from the washing of costumes and low durability that can result in the deformation of costumes. As performing arts are made in various forms and are diversified, it is needed for stage costumes to change accordingly through new attempts and various ways of expression.

Cultural contact, which means a current that an influential culture diffuses to another, represents the penetration of the one to the other in a negative respect and'mixture'or 'fusion'of them in an affirmative respect. Fusion of cultures was not easy to take place in the past when nationalism and ultranationalism suppressed it ideologically, inconvenient transportation and communications were obstacles to it, and most of countries were under the influences of folk religions. Today, however, mutually heterogeneous cultures can be shared by a lot of things such as collapse of a view of nation resulted from globalization, breakdown of regional characteristics, abolition of trade barriers, freedom of communications and realtime information network. Those have rendered fusion possible. Fusion in this modern consuming society is extending much faster and more extensively than at any time in the past. In addition, more and more cultural elements seem to collide and compromise with one another in the name of fusion, not relaxing the bridle of fusion, from the present situations that preference in consumption becomes subdivided and a variety of individuality is strongly attempted to seek for, This study is on the subject of the properties of'Fusion', one of new styles in a mass culture, especially focused on sociologic cultural phenomena. Furthermore, it is expected to look for a fusion in interior design which expresses sociologic cultural phenomena most in a field of design, to examine it theoretically, and to prospect a future trend of fusion design based on investigation of the latest prevailing trend.

This study aims at providing useful fundamental information to re-establish the theories of modern fashion by examining the origination and genealogy of street style. The street styles focusing on caucasoid have a variety of genealogies such as western type, beat, teddy boy, hippie, skinhead, punk, neuron-mantic, indie kid, riot grrrl, grunge and techno cyber punk. In the same period, on the contrary, the streets styles focusing on negroid are zootie, hipster, modernist, rude boy, two-tone, rastafarian, funky, B-boy, fly girl, raggamuffine, bhangra, and acid jazz, which are seen as the culture of the large cities formed along Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean sea like England, America and Jamaica. These have root as the main fashion in western society. Ironically, most of the subculture concentrated on the whites were racists. Because of such a reason, the street styles have been formed as resistance culture that was unable to sympathize with their society and characteristics by distinguishing the whites and the colored people. Zootie or hipster that is one of the street fashion styles was formed in the 1940-50s, while the colored people who lived in the west Indies migrated to England or America. As a minimal modernist style called Ivy look in US, in that time, anti-culture formed by teenagers in whitey, teddy boy and mods fashion can be strictly different from the zootie and hipster. The colored people's street styles of the 1960s developed into aggressive and hard forms from the rude boy and two-tone while their resistance toward the whites was stronger. The rastafarian style researched the peak as the colored people's traditional ethnic characteristics or resistance intention for their freedom in the 1970s. With B-boy, fly girl, reggae, rap music, and break dancing in the 1980s, the subculture gradually told on the high fashion as well as the culture between the whites and the colored people. From such aspects, the colored people tried to maintain their unique traditional characteristics. However, their individual values surged by the coming young generation excluded the colored people's characteristic street styles. Focusing on gender, violence and private success among their major concerns, the raga muffin style that represents multi-races and multi-cultures was formed. The jazz style in the 1990s showed cold post-modernistic eclecticism different from that of the 1940s-50s. Simultaneously, the various classes appeared their street styles by emphasizing on each personality. Now that we are living in multi-cultural society, a human race or nationalism concept is getting obscurer. There is no obvious boundary line in the differences between human race and its fashion.

issued in the U.S is a magazine specialized in graphic design, which has a totally different style from commercial magazines such as show case. The main motive why Rudy VanderLans, the publisher, first issued this magazine in the early 1980s is his assertion that there is no design paradigm of universial concept in the aspect of viaual communication design. Also, it started from his recognition that a medium for letting a new generation's show their liberal thinking and experimental expressions. This study looks at theologies and assertions on new graphic concept, which is called the New Wave of graphic design by classifying the plans of into form and contents, and analyzes its specialty in design. Also, this study examines the overall trends of non-Grid editorial design since the modern style. By doing so, I could have a general look at the progressive traits and their futuristic directions that become to have a shorter life cycle with the advent of the 21st century's information era, high-tech media and the change of production environment by digital technology.
