The main purpose of the study is to determine the features of the application of modern technologies for the development of distance education. The global process of transition to the information society, as well as the economic, political and social changes that accompany it, are accelerating the reform of the higher education system, in which distance education occupies a special place. Based on the results of the study, the main features of the use of modern technologies for the development of distance education are characterized. Future research should be devoted to investigating the impact of Industry 4.0 on the education system.

Religion has originated with mankind has developed with mankind and the ap-pearance of Christianity has made a greater contribution to forming the basis of European civilization than any other event. In the Middle Ages in succession to the Roman Ages the foundation of society was so laid centering around Christianity that the garments of religion leaders had greatly affected clothes of the common people as well as political economy. In this view-point it has an educational significance to study vestment of the time when Christianity was prevailing value of society. Thefore this study has tried to examine Catholic ceremonial clothes revolving around the Middle Ages when Christianity had been propagated and it has treated of the clothes of Catholic to have produced a great effect on the culture of the Middle Ages, The method of this study was to inquire into the definition and history of Catholic clothes through the first data of the real-thing data from the museums and the sec-ond of the literature data and photo sam-ples that show the application of above said elements to modern fashion. Results are eight pieces of work: four pieces of Computer Simulation and four pieces of the real-thing production to represent the image found in Catholic ceremonial clothes. The results of the study are as follows. First it has been elicited to be able to satisfy the costume aeshtics that modern society requires introducing brilliance and esthetic elements for these patterns to have by applying the ones expressed in the cere-monial clothes. Second it has been found to be able to make a fashion design with the modern style supported by history by making a proper mixture of the simple silhouette and a luxurious decoration shown in Catholic ceremonial clothes. Third it has been presented to be able to serve in the worldly area if even a religious motive get out of in the area of a solemn image and it is applied to a modern fash-ion.

From the perspective of the artist who produces modern ornaments, I wanted to see the future of modern ornaments in the hyperconnected era. I would like to find a practical way of converging information communication technology, which is one of them, and applying nfc tag among them. For the practical approach, after looking at the actual examples of commercial ring products using nfc tag technology, I tried to find a practical method that can be applied to modern ornaments produced in the workshop. As a result, two realistic alternatives were drawn: the investment method, which is free to converge, but has limited technical utilization, and an assembly method that requires high convergence from the design planning stage. After then, to know investment methods, have been produced that may have problems with real applications. I made a real sample, not a concept, to explain the technical factors and precautions necessary for applying nfc technology.

In the context of integration of culture and tourism, the effective application of folk art in cultural creative products is of great significance to the development of local cultural industry. Xuzhou paper-cutting is the only world-class intangible cultural heritage project in the northern Jiangsu region of China. Its high humanistic value and artistic characteristics are widely used in modern art design. The application of cultural and creative products relative to paper-cutting in Xuzhou mainly focuses on two-dimensional decorative and ornamental products, which is short of diversity in form and not practical. In addition, it doesn't meet the aesthetic needs of living of modern people, This article studies paper-cut works by Wang Guiying and proposes principles for the design of cultural and creative products relative to paper-cutting by analyzing the typical "goose" pattern in Wang's paper cutting handcrafts. By exploring the application value of Xuzhou paper-cutting in cultural and creative product design and demonstrating the feasibility of the design principles via visiting experts, this article hopes to provide some reference for the modern inheritance and innovative development of paper-cutting culture.

Recently, artificial intelligence has reached the level of top information technologies that will have significant influence over many aspects of our future lifestyles. In particular, in the fields of machine learning technologies for classification and decision-making, there have been a lot of research efforts for solving estimation and control problems that appear in the various kinds of portfolio management problems via data-driven approaches. Note that these modern data-driven approaches, which try to find solutions to the problems based on relevant empirical data rather than mathematical analyses, are useful particularly in practical application domains. In this paper, we consider some applications of modern data-driven machine learning methods for portfolio management problems. More precisely, we apply a simplified version of the sparse Gaussian process (GP) classification method for classifying users' sensitivity with respect to financial risk, and then present two portfolio management issues in which the GP application results can be useful. Experimental results show that the GP applications work well in handling simulated data sets.

In this modern world of drastic change, folding architecture was an alternative that offered a novel architectural insight. Today, the folding technique is being used above and beyond architecture, spreading to fashion, lighting, medicine, etc. Especially in the interior space design field, the folding technique is in the limelight as an alternative to create an original space for modern society. However, research and experiments into folding mainly remains at philosophical interpretation or architectural examples, and even these were mostly before the 2000s. Therefore, the present study determined it necessary to look deeply into the post-2000s folding technique focusing on interior space. In this paper, 33 cases of indoor space where folding technique appears are derived, and classified them again by use. The folding technique which was the first step of Sophia Vyzoviti's experiment on her book, "Folding Architecture" was extracted and used as the framework. We summarizes the range of application of folding techniques (interior space in general, floor, wall, ceiling, etc.) and major folding techniques by combining photographs, drawings, and descriptions of the works of the architects. This paper summarizes the characteristics of the space described comprehensively, and draws out the spatial characteristics of the modern interior space where the folding technique appears.

Recently, the application of High-Power mechanized tunnelling technology has been expended around the world. Especially, High-power Modern TBM machines are used in a successful results. Essential for the great success of this modern TBM in difficult rock conditions are based on the development of machine power, suitable better cutter developments, and also developed assesment technology regards on the extensive site investigations. OPP (Owner Procurement Process) system is a proven alternative contract delivery method that is potentially applicable to many tunnel projects. Using the OPP, the owner specifies and procures the TBMs and tunnel lining in advance of the tunnel contract procurement and provides TBM to a tunnel contractor with a goals of reducing project risks and accelerating project schedule. Depending on the blasting vibrations and noises, mechanized tunnelling will be more important particularly in city areas.

Recently, as a new perspective to view the architecture in relation to global environmental problems, interest in environmental architecture that conforms to the surrounding environment and nature with nature has been expanded as a part of the natural ecosystem, rather than seeing the building as an independent entity. Traditional Korean architecture creates a comfortable indoor environment by appropriately using the natural energy around, ranging from the arrangement of the building and the space composition to the use of detailed materials and to harmonize the artificial architectural environment without harming the natural ecosystem. The purpose of this study is to propose a method to apply the environmental control techniques of traditional buildings to modern buildings. As a research method, the characteristics of Korean traditional buildings according to the climatic characteristics of Korea were recognized through existing literature data and when applied to methods of traditional buildings, ventilation systems, control through eaves, and humidity control using Hanji the effect of energy load control on traditional buildings was analyzed and identified through existing literature. After analyzing the problems of modern architecture, we analyzed the effect of the environmental control system of traditional architecture on modern architecture. Simulation results show that the application of the environmental control system of traditional buildings to modern buildings reduces the cooling and heating load of modern buildings and has an effect on humidity control. This study suggests that quantitative energy saving will be possible if the environmental control techniques of traditional buildings are appropriately applied to modern buildings.

Trompe-1’oeil technique strategically conceived with a view to effectively realize creative ideas among the expression techniques of fine arts style has provided the driving force in development of fine arts and has continuously influenced development of the modern fashion pursuing unique individuality. The purpose of this study is to open a new horizon for the development of fashion as a practical art, and to seek the expansion of the creative domain and ultimately to contribute to the creation of original and creative fashion by examining the interrelationship between Trompe-1’oeil, which has long been utilized and positioned as one of the leading fine arts techniques with the advent of surrealism in the beginning of the 20th century and the modern fashion. The study is focused first on finding out how Trompe-1’oeil technique originated in connection with researching the fashion of Trompe-1’oeil and on analysing the techniques of expression, and then on investigating into Elsa Schiaparelli, pioneer of Trompe-1’oeil technique to identify her influences, and finally on classifying clothes employing Trompe-1’oeil technique by their expression method to examine how Trompe-1’oeil technique has been applied to modern clothes. As for the research method, the researcher has referred to fine arts books, collection of pictorial records and the like to gain conceptual understanding of Trompe-1’oeil and to examine the expression method and the features of Trompe-1’oeil, and collected and referred to fashion books and fashion marazines to understand Elsa Schiaparelli and the expression tendencies of Tromprf-1’oeil in modern fashions. Particularly, the researcher has attempted to search the correlation between modern fashion and Trompe-1’oeil technique. As a result of this research, the researcher has managed to classify Trompe-1’oeil technique expressed in modern fashion into ‘harmony’, ‘application of the human body’, ‘front and back’, ‘surface and inside’. ‘completion of the incomplete’ and ‘detail.’ The researcher has also noted that Elsa Schiaparelli, a surrealist first applied Trompe-1’oeil technique to clothes and confirmed that quite a few avant-garde clothes designers following Elia Schiaparelli, by using Trompe-1’oeil technique in clothes, recently recreate fresh feelings.

The purpose of this study is to propose an effective exercise for the prevention of osteoporosis by analyzing changes in bone metabolism markers and adipocytokines according to the application of modern dance. The objects were selected between t-score -1.0 to -2.5 and subjects were random assigned to the modern dance group(n=10) and control group(n=10). Modern dance was held three times a week for 60min, for 12weeks. For data analysis, two-way repeated measures ANOVA was analyzed using SPSS. As a result of the study, both osteocalcin(p<.01) and T-score(p<.05) were significantly increased in the modern dance group. Adiponectin(p<.05) was increased significantly and Both TNF-α (p<.05) and IL-6(p<.05) were significantly decreased in the modern dance group. As a result, modern dance is considered to be an effective strategy to prevent osteoporosis, and it is expected to have a positive effect on metabolism and function improvement in elderly women with osteopenia.
