본 논문은 한국 근대 디자인, 나아가 한국 근대 미술을 발굴하기 위한 프로젝트의 일환으로, 일본의 제국미술학교(1948년 무사시노 미술학교로 개칭, 1962년 무사시노미술 대학으로 승격) 및 제국미술학교에 유학했던 조선인 유학생들(1929-1945)에 대하여, 무사시노 미술대학과 공동으로 행한 연구조사와 발굴을 바탕으로, 이루어 진 논문이다. 근대 미술과 디자인의 수용과정에서 가장 많은 조선인이 유학하였던 근대 적 미술교육기간이 바로 제국미술학교이 다. 제국미술학교 도안 공예과에 유학했던 조선인 학생들의 활동과 도안 공예과 교수들과의 관계를 고찰함으로서 궁극적으로 일본 제국미술학교 교육을 통한 다자인의 학습과 수용이 조선 유학생들에게 어떠한 영 향을 주었고, 전후의 한국 디자인 교육과 어 떠 한 연관성을 가지는 지 알아보았다. 연구결과 147명의 조선인 유학생 명단과 13명의 공예도안과 유학생명단을 새로 작성하였으며, 본 논문이 자료가 취약한 우리 근대 디자인 사를 복원할 중요한 단서가 될 것이다.

The purpose of this research is to provide new direction on the field of the furniture design and to establish the identity of Korean furniture design as the flow of craft's juxtapose mixture era where it mix and match Korean traditional craft style materials with the modern furniture design. In other words, it is intended to create new furniture design and propose beautiful Korean luxury furniture design based on the precious unique culture with the traditional craft style, juxtaposition of modern furniture, and reinterpretation. It should grant artistic values that can satisfy consumers having various tastes and scarcity values, plus it should put out aesthetic and creative expressions in furniture design putting into the beautiful traditional craft form values. Furthermore, it is required to create new design through values and spirit, materials, techniques, forms, pattern, and usages by interacting, coordinating, and combining tradition and modern East and West, plus craft and design.

The purpose of this study is to find out the current trend of tradition in Modern Korean Residential-furniture. Sample furniture of 374 pieces made by 21 manufacturers which have been shown in the market in September 2000, are selected for this study. To find out the traditional trend, frequency and percentage are used. As the result of the study, the major trend of design in Modern Korean Residential-furniture is modern style based on Modernism. However, it was found that there are tendency while large firms add western traditional elements in their furniture, small manufactures are trying to develop original furniture design which expresses Korean traditional characteristics. It means that the Korean traditional characteristics are not widely spread in Modern Residential-furniture.

The goal of this paper is to explore the relationship between modern architecture and interior decoration through the study of decoration and ornament. It is noteworthy that modern architecture and interior decoration occurred at about the same time. Our analysis shows that the two are closely related to each other. That is to say, modern architecture tried to eliminate ornaments (and decorations), symbols and meanings from the built environments and to embody efficiency and rationality instead. However, in the interior of the building designed and completed by the architect, the user began to decorate his world through decoration or to refer such work to the new expert 'interior decorator'. In a word, the latter took charge of the role deserted by modern architecture.

이 연구는 고시조의 정서가 현대시에 어떻게 흘러들어왔는지에 대해 살펴보는 것이다. 그리하여 고시조와 현대시의 간극에 머물고 있는 치유적 장치들을 문학치료에 활용하기 위한 목적을 지니고 있다. 고시조의 극심한 고독과 고요가 현대시로 침습되어 잠이 오지 않는 고독의 밤을 연출하고 있다. 고시조의 감정을 지닌 문장들이 현대시에서는 달라져 있지만, 고시조와 현대시는 같은 감정을 공유하고 있다. 이러한 문학적 장치는 현대인들에게 치유의 정서를 제공해준다. 이러한 연구는 이후의 문학치료의 활성화에 기여하게 될 것으로 사료된다.

This study probed into the fashion styling of modern girls who led fashion and revealed power of woman as the center of modernization in Korea. Methods included the theoretical study based on fashion related newspaper articles at the time, specialized publications, advance researches, and internet data and the empirical study that involved contents analysis centering on visual data, expert evaluation, and styling development and presentation. The image of Korean modern girl analysis found in the order of modern image, elegant image, classic image, mannish image, romantic image. The aesthetic characteristics could be classified into sensual classicism, modern elegance, feminist epicenism, and romantic simplicity. The theme was 'Retro Modern' and a total of 4 styles were applied. 'Progressive Tradition' expressed the aesthetic characteristics of sensual classicism and it gave a modern reinterpretation of the seamless one-piece skirt which is the modified Korean clothes of Korean modern girls. 'Luxe Beauty' expressed the aesthetic characteristics of modern elegance, and it developed the long and slim style which was popular in the 1930's in a trendy way. 'Dressy Avant-garde' expressed the aesthetic characteristics of feminist epicenism, and it suggested the mannish style Western clothes that Korean modern girls wore by following recent fashion trend. 'Minimal Couture' expressed the aesthetic characteristics of romantic simplicity and it presented the garçonne look which was popular in the 1920's by following recent trend.

본 논문은 디자인 사고에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 모던 디자인 현상에 자리하는 디자인 사고를 고찰하고 있다. 디자인이라는 언어를 통해 일상 삶을 변화시키고자 했던 모던 디자인의 기획은 기하학적 조형과 기능에의 집착, 기계의 적극적 수용 등과 같은 구체적 현상으로 발현되었다. 그 이면에는 '효율과 편리에 대한 집착', '환원된 필요를 기능과 대응시키는 전략', '전문가 시스템을 바탕으로 한 부분의 합이 전체라는 믿음', '사적 공간과 공적 공간을 구분하는 것과 같은 이분법적 사고'들이 자리하고 있다. 수공예적인 생산양식에서 기계적 생산양식으로의 이행과 자아에 대한 인식 등이 가능했던 사회 분위기가 이러한 디자인 사고를 가능하게 하였다.

This report aims at studying on marriage extravagancies in Yi Dynasty and modern time in Korea. The author argues that we have to do the reform of consciousness and our reflection, with regard to the marriage extravagancies in Yi dynasty and modern times in Korea. In the way, we have to be illuminated by the seminar for the house wives of high class, by the discussion on marriage extravagancies or on the prohibition law of that which can keep.
